Today RKC had moments of why I liked it and the majority all the terrible filmi and serial elements I detest. It was bad editing or bad direction I am not sure, but it was bad to watch.

Things I liked Gayathri with Anami and Daroga with Anami. How Gayathri left Anami with him. Those were natural. That was it.

The scene where Anami and Satrupa reconciled was so bad I felt my eyes would not stop rolling. All the cliched bad things in a filmi movie and bad serial was right there.

Another moment, Anami knew Sudha was the culprit yet the look of surprise when it was revealed. It was very Sivaji Ganesan in all his OTT acting ways I was actually repelled.

What I actually liked was Sudha showing the mirror to people. Anami is all Mahaan I brought you here, Sudha showed her the mirror. Gayathri and Vikku stood still as statues.

What I liked was Daroga's speech about Anami's Parvarish and most of all Narottam. The arc and the actor.

Today was one of the worst episodes though in terms of writing, editing and direction. If they make Satrupa Mahaan RKC will sink into a mediocre serial for me.

anita i thot its only me who dint & cudnt like 2days epi much. but thank god i m not alone.

but like u said i only liked anami,gayathri ,adhi scene & narottam part.

@bold1 same feelings & i really dint feel any emotions here.even i was rolling my eyes .i cudnt see this scene 4 more than 1 min & i left 2 the kitchen 2 take my plate of dinner.i felt not just bored but disgusted at the way satrupa is made mahaan & rite while anami wrong. yes we know anami did commit mistakes but she accepted them but wat abt satrupa. she never did earlier nor now.

@bold 2 me 2 felt same. and i was wondering why all r so shocked bd &satrupa & vikram i cud understand but why anami & gayathri were srprsd

yes sudha showed mirror 2 all but she was wrong abt anami. anami never supported sudha just 2 spite satrupa.and anami was not pretending2 b mahaan . rather i felt its oder way of CVs 2 show satrupa mahaan by making anami wrong & then making her say this also 2 absolve satrupa all of her mistakes or sins.

@bold 3 it already has fell from the day they started showing satrupa's so-called swag & power walks while committing mistakes & sins against innocent ppl.

i can understand the rush but this is really disgusting 2 show satrupa not realizing her wrong ways espy 2wards innocent ppl like pathaks & adhi & oders.hopefully they showed this also.

anita tho i agree its 2 filmy also.but i wont mind bit of dramatization & filmy stuff but that shud luk logical also but here it dint luk like that.rather luked forced one esply that satrupa-anami reconcilation

exactly my thoughts. Like Shruti said i too liked RKC for showing that a mother is not always right. Not always does good for her kid. they dint go the routine serial way where MAA is glorified and she can never go wrong. Now Satrupa is only being whitewashed. I wonder why they are showing anami cry so much for she was never such a crybaby uptill now. i can understand anami for being guilty for accusing satrupa falsely but reacting like this. what about what satrupa has actually done. How easily have they made her forget everything. There is no redemption for satrupa i think. I think Like @Tiny15 said i wish she was pun in jail for some time so that she knows what it means to falsely accuse the pandits & then afterwards Adhiraj for kidnapping her.

@Red I was talking about not Sudha being brought home, but how later Anami threatens Satrupa with going away if Sudha goes and thus the accounts get frozen. There was an element of one upping Satrupa there, not purely unselfish.

Completely agree with last two paragraphs. I still have hope for the writing though.

anita wat u r saying mite b true.but i wud say anami still dint do taht 2 spite satrupa i mean not knowingly.wen she threatened satrupa wid going away i think she did in her zeal 2 give rites 2 sudha thinking shes rite as we know anami thinks herself as know it all.

See the way Satrupa and Anami met was what I had intended. Satrupa out of her room, Anami out of her room and they meet in the corridor meaning Anami had her fault lines, Satrupa too had her fault lines both have recognized them. Though symbolically that scene was right, in reality in the rush to close things the journey of coming out of their rooms has been missed which ended in that scene being the damp squib of the entire show,

Guys I was reluctant to post my views as I will be a minority with my views. But to be frank with I watched and rewatched the episode many times as they retained the normalsy of human nature. You may call and categorise me as a TRP auntie but I have no issues on that for yesterday's episode.

No where CVs showed Satrupa as Mahant or without regrets. She knew she has done Mistake to get her daughter but that is only to get her daughter and not to punish. Even Baldev didn't say she was perfect but he said is if you have not done the crime of burning the family of Pandit, then have faith in god. That one weak showed how vulnerable she was to be with her daughter and that is the only moment she shared her fear, what if Anami leaves? She can't stay without her.

Guys she never had the opportunity to share her happiness or sorrow with anyone as her husband was not there for her and in laws were expecting her to be the back bone. So she had suppressed all her emotions for decades and never has the opportunity to request for anything from anyone as she had to demand to get what she wanted. Hence we should not expect her to mellowed down instantly. People say cry to ease your heart but that's not so easy.

I can relate to her easily because I am one such character who doesn't open up easily and expect my partner or family to understand me from my gestures. If I am sad or angry, I will go to silent mode because I don't want to say something in my anger which I may regret later. But if someone who doesn't know me well will brand me as arrogant or attitude or conceited. But the fact is I can't open up so easily in front of others even if it is my parents, siblings or my daughter. If I don't respond instantly, people think I am ignoring them or i am guilty but truly I don't know how to express my affection openly to others (verbally) though I can express easily while penning.

Satrupa had reared the guilt in her for 17 long years and it is not easy to shell it out and drained her guilt and move forward. When she knew what she did was not right, how can she justify her move. She expected others to understand her and accept her.

Anami though looked tough from outer looks, she was yearning for her biological mother's love and affection. That was the reason she was mourning on her birthday every year for missing her mother. That pain exploded when she actually saw her mother after 17 long years. Has Satrupa good enough to convince her daughter, Anami would have accepted her then and there only. But the lack of proper communication between 2 made them to go through the pain for 1 more year. Anami deep diwd in her heart knew she was unreasonable towards her mother. They were waiting dfoan opportunity to ease their shield and the opportunity was given in most twisted way.

I am really happy that there were no words given as apologies but a bear hug to shell their bitterness.

I am sorry but I was busy since y'day and so a small post. But I did read all urs and would like to comment on them even if not individually.

Jaya has hit the nail on the head when she mentioned that Sat's behaviour is what some people do. She said her moments in that way and could relate to her. And, I too, can relate to the way Sat behaved/s, coz, I too am like that. The biggest problem with such people is proper communication. It doesn't come naturally to everyone. Our mind says 1 thing, our actions and speech another thing. More often that not, I have faced so much flak and like Jaya I used to go into my own shell and labelled arrogant. I have evolved from that. But I still have problems. That's y I could relate so much to Sat's character (not the swag in the saree though 😊)

Anyway that is neither here nor there. Coming back to the serial and especially y'day epi, even I loved that scene of voiceless regret and communication between Ma-Beti. TBH, I simply loved that scene. I was anticipating something like that. Yes, it was rushed, but we all know and have been expecting that. It was what I pointed out y'day which were flaws for me.

As for Sat, it is not her alone, who has been painted totally white. BD has a sudden change of heart and has become hero Papa. Vikram we don't know and same for Gayatri. Because of time constraints, I am accepting these whitewashes. For me Gayatri is also grey (I still haven't forgotten that epi during Vats naming when Narrottam was a toddler and he looked so bewildered when Gayatri aske someone to take him away). For me that 1 scene implied that though she is affectionate and will empathise with her legitimate g'children, she doesn't do that for Narrottam. But now for the past 1 month, she is shown totally positive. And now for the sudden closure Sudha is shown as totally negative. It doesn't make sense. Also, all people associated with LM always said, "LM jo diktha hai, waise hai nahi"

But I've accepted these flaws and the weeklong b'day party. Because we all know, we will never know what the producers originally intended. And that's y I've been saying that post Oct, had they shown all chars equally interspersing the past and present (Dheeru's family also), even if the show ended now, it'd have made sense.

1 thing I differ fro u Jaya is that, in my fir of anger, I become furious and I just blast about absolutely unthinking of the consequences and then regret later and then go into my shell, before I apologise. 😊. Yes, I've come a long way from that (age mellows u down). But more often than not damage is done. For me, Sat reminds me of that.
