It's fascinating how the three women, Sudha,Sat and Gayathri use their feminine side.

Sangita is a sexy woman, if they pursue this aspect of her charcter, Sudha will become even more complex character. Absolutely true😛. Sudha is very sensual women and she definitely trap Baldev by it . I don't this Baldev is that much strong to resist it .🥱 and honestly I couldn't imagine sattu to be a sedative women and try to seduces Baldev😲😆. It's just look like beyond her character😉. And Baldev is not at all deserve it 😡 to seduse by her . I even dobut she even try to seduse him in past or not .😉😆 she is not that type of woman who just blushing and shying and run away 😆. But I definitely want to see her romentic side. Hope for some good F.B !

Today's episode somehow reminded me of Solah Shringar. Bridal adornment.

There are three very feminine women in LM. Gayathri, Satrupa and Sudha. All are elegantly dressed in their own ways and as befitting their status in life. But I am fascinated by what their dressing says about their character.

Satrupa - The perfect example of a rich, royal, businesswoman. Elegant jewels, beautiful saris, always co-ordinated. Always wears earrings, bangles, necklace and rings. Traditional ornamentation. Her hair is always up but with a twist. She rarely wears it down. She also wears the traditional silver key chain that has all the ketys of LM. She will uphold tradition. Her femininity is part of her. It does not define her. The face of LM, the LM bahu.

Gayathri - The oldest but age has not slowed her down. She reminds me of Rajmata Gayathri Devi, a combination of both British and Indian elegance. You can imagine Gayathri to be ahead of her times, how many women went to college then. Her hair is dyed, but it is brown. She wears her hair down. She is stylish. Age has not slowed her down. She wears the usual ornaments earrings, necklace, bangles and ring. She also wears the bajuband or the armlet as an everyday thing. Not usual and certainly not at her age. Gayathri too was a bahu, but her outward appearance is of someone who marches to her own beat. She uses her femininity to enhance herself.

Sudha - She is a middle aged woman who wears payal and glass bangles. She will tinkle musically as she walks. She does not have a key chain with the keys of LM. But she has a waist chain that will make people watch as she walks. Again not what one wears as a everyday ornament. Even her feet and toes are pretty. Head to toe adornment. She is a woman without a man for 20 years yet she dresses like one who wants to use her dressing to please her husband. Solah Shringar. Her hair is always open. She tosses it like a horse, Elegant, fluid, earthy. She is a sensual woman who uses her femininity as a weapon to get what she wants. She could easily seduce most men and it takes a strong one to resist her.

I am not sure where I am going with this, but the dressing style of these women help me understand them more.

As expected Anami went after Satrupa and she spilled the beans. Gayathri had already warned Satrupa that LM will not tolerate anything Satrupa does if Anami is distanced.

The three Satrupa Sudha and Anami were restless for different reasons.

One was lashing out with her words the second worried she would be undone by Ladoo and the third worries her aborted attempt would be discovered and holds Naina responsible for it.

Anami is on mission burn Satrupa, Satrupa is on hold on to your reason for living and Sudha opt of situations by clearing evidence that would lead up to her. Purushottam was removed so t o ensure her truth regarding Vatsal doesn't emerge,why would she have difficulty in removing and concealing the Payal.she has been repeatedly threatening Narottam as well.

The way Narottam arrives near the power room and has it shut hoping there is no tampering was symbolic.

An outage in power Sudha thinks would set LM ablaze. A revelation by Ladoo , Satrupa thinks would prompt Anami to burn with rage.

Anami has been treated unfairly by being abandoned.other than that she has not had to endure the suffering of Satrupa, Sudha, Narottam , Tanya or Adhi.

The way Tanya and Adhi have had to cope with a father being framed and taken away and losing a mother who was a strong influence has definitely impacted their persona.

Anami has not had to accommodate the needs or views of others and had been accustomed to doing whatever she pleased and lashing out at others definitely what she has picked up along with the homespun wisdom of Pandithain. Maybe it is to contrast the Devaki and yashodha in her life yet a deeper exploration of Shrad pandits influence on her would be good too.

As of now it appears the AP of Satrupa has arrived and will unfold this week. The story has progressed to that extent.

@mangothyme you have analyzed all the 3 women extensively. And as Simran said Sudha uses her femininity to get what she wants, Gayatri knows when to use the charm and when to use the head, mostly she balances it out. But the one who has to show the power of feminine sadly has never shown it. Remember Vikku calls Sat " beta" not beti. She ended up unknowingly supporting the masculine power, the patriarchy thinking it was her duty irrespective of a marriage with a man who was already a father. A man who doesnt respect her and a family who wants just a heir from her. That's why her untied bun when she spoke the truth was of so much significance. Patriarichy was not winning because of Sudha, it was because of Satrupa. Unless she throws the guard and opens her femininity change wont happen. Unless she asserts herself as a woman as a mother change wont happen.

@vidya you are right about Anami. She had not seen in real sense what is a tough life. She had not known hunger like Adhi and Tanya. She had not seen what real injustice is when you see your father locked up for a crime he didnt committ. She didnt knew what it was for an child to have a father and half brother and yet dont know the meaning of love. She doesnt know what it means " No". So she has to learn a lot and let her learn that.

If they want she can be a very raw, earthy kinda sexy woman.

It takes a strong man to bring the feminine side of a strong woman and imo, Bal Dev is still a bratty boy, when he grows a spine, Sat will become the woman, till then, she'll dismiss his stupid plans to kill Sudha & continue to take Heera Singh to deal with the likes of Purushottam on her own.
She might look less sexy in that process.

@Shruthi-The reason patriarchy thrives is because women start acting like men. Read somewhere, even today little girls equate power with fathers and when they grow up & want to be powerful, their models are the men

@Bella yes Baldev needs a doormat or someone who looks or manages to behave like a doormat which Satrupa can never be. As Sudha says it is about your happiness.

Yes Simran patriarichy thrives because women try to behave like men and forget their femininity, and men keep them like that also for their power. The day an intelligent women start realizing how they are getting deprived, the day she starts seeing outside the roles and see the world as a woman and not through the man's eyes change will happen.

@Bella & Shruthi- I want to be charitable to Bal dev, unless he tells his story himself, I want to reserve the judgement on him.

RKC- let's lots to viewers' imagination.
The vesrion of BD I've in mind is a guy groomed to take over from vVkku, who fell for Sudha's tricks , done in by by the aides he trusted, Purrushottam & Pujan.
He went along withVikku's patriarchal dynastic ways as long as it served him, now the same system has put his wife in power, he wants to break out and create his own business/empire.

I think, the real growth for Anami and her handsome father will be when they see thr' Sudha's deceit.

When BD told Satrupa "I don't know whether you ever loved me but you love RS",imo, he wants to be loved by her.
I think, his need to be pampered and propped up by a lesser woman will be over with Sudha's fiasco.

Not sure whether I made any sense here, I just feel, BD is not as weak as he's taken for, he is another victim of the same system he supports and he'll grow when he challenges it.He sided with Suhda when Vikku wanted to throw out, he might fall prey to Pujan's ploys once again when he chases his dream, dream to carve his own identity, to show his wife he can be her equal.

Satu-BD's a great love story waiting to be explored, I hope the Cvs touch upon it, amidst all the drama around Sudha.

@simran I feel Anami will be the binding force between Baldev-Satrupa. Somewhere I dont think they were able to connect as individuals. Here the ego of Baldev and Satrupa has played their part. Sat also I feel was never truly able to accept him.

Shruthi- Yes,I too think Anmai will be continuing where Vats left.
BD said their relation died with Vats.

Then it would be like couple staying in a relationship for the sake of family unity and that's why the moment their family structure is disturbed, like Vat's death or Anmai's arrival, BD-SAt's relation gets shaky.
I meant for them to love each other like a man & a woman, like the way Gayu-Vikku love each other, BD has to come on his own & form his own identity.
As long as he's the LM Waris w.o any real power or the husband of the successful business woman or ex-lover of a crazy woman, their relation will not progress,

.Egoes aside,imo BD didn't offer much for Sat to love anyway, except RS.
I doubt whether they'll pursue their story apart from the family drama.

I'm still waiting for Sat-Dhiru connection to unfold, in her brief interaction with him, she was very different, she was almost coy.😆No wonder BD was propelled to put a gun over Dhiru's head😆
