It was an interesting episode. So Ladoo is suffering from trauma induced amnesia or shall I say partial amnesia where he doesnt want the traumatic experience to be repeated, but remembers the happy moments.

I would say the child's innocence shone through all the hypocrites. He is symbolic of both Pandithayen blood and parvarish. To err is human, to forgive is divine. What Ladoo told was the truth as he felt it. A child doesnt see, it feels. And Ladoo was not exactly afraid of Satrupa that day also, he was afraid of Sudha and he needed Anami. As for him Sudha means harm to Anami and the boy is unable to express it.

When Anami sees the matlabi mataji, Ladoo feels the mother in her. The mother who is wrapped in many layers. Gayatri tells Satrupa not to play with innocents and everyone may not forgive as Ladoo has. It has to be something LM wasis has to remember especially Gayatri and Vikku. Sudha, Dheeru and Satrupa all of them were innocents once upon a time. But LM played with them. Now they have a revengeful Sudha, a egoist Satrupa and a cautious Dheeru because LM killed their innocence in more ways than one for its heir called Baldev.

Sudha is unforgiving and wants complete destruction. Satrupa became a control freak and Dheeru simply doesnt want to do anything more with a LM heir and I wont blame him. As a father he was completely right in telling Adhiraj to stay away from Anami. Because LM wasis cannot be trusted.

This is where Anami will have to mend her reckless ways. Satrupa asked her to be cautious, Adhiraj asked her to be cautious. She was over confident, she took decisions. To control her Satrupa took some steps that includes bringing Laddo, to protect her Adhiraj took some step that led to the accusation he faced.Her reckless ways can again put others in risk. She has to take responsiblity of her actions, has to be cautious so that Adhiraj not expected to jump everytime to save her and her family. She has to grow up. It's time

It is just like baking the cake. It tells chocolate essence as per taste. Anami tells everyone's taste is different and Poonam tells it means medium, in between. Yes life is always in between, to manage most people you have to take in between decisions.Give some, take some. It cannot be everything given from one side and taken from other side. If she has to be a sensible woman she has to balance it out with her nature and nurture. Satrupa is her birth mother and Pandithayen the foster mother. It cannot be one mother for her. She is the combination of Satrupa blood and Pandhityen nurture. If she takes best of both worlds she will be a remarkable successful woman. Otherwise the burnt cake only Adhiraj will like, even she wont like it. Just like the extremely arrogant Anami, Adhiraj might like it, but even after sometime as a human even he will be tired of it as she takes him for granted. It was good Dheeru is giving her a wake up call.

Then I am a big fan of director Sathyan Anthikad in Malayalam, Mani Ratnam in Tamil. They create superb movies. It doesnt matter who the actor/actress is, but they know to get the best out of them.

In Hindi I love old Rajesh Khanna and AB movies. Not a big fan of AYM, cheesy romance of 90s except DDLJ. I dont know but this one movie I simply love to see anytime anywhere.

Nowadays if we look at mainstream heroes then Siddharth Malhotra, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor are probably the 3 names that come to mind for such brilliance. The latter 2 especially. I haven't seen Padmavat yet, but all the trailers, songs, scenes online just showcase their brilliance. And Shahid Kapoor went from chocolate hero in his early days to method actor now and it shows. Look at Haider or Udta Punjab or even Shaandaar. Siddharth Malhotra also works hard for his roles, like Ittefaq or Brothers. It shows. Akshay Kumar is another one who has really shown a difference in the past few years. On the other hand, Varun Dhawan, the Khans, Ranbir Kapoor, etc. have their brilliant roles like Tere Naam, Chak De India, Badlapur, Barfi, Taare Zameen Par, Omkara, etc. but they are also masala movie actors. Then we have actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rana Daggubatti, Rajkummar Rao, Irrfan Khan, Boman Irani, etc. who take on the character in such a way that you can't separate the actor from the character.

If we go back to Ankit Sawach, then he's a fresh face and that's what makes Adhiraj really work even more. Like Anita pointed out, Adhiraj is awkward, shy, clueless, but also straight, honest, responsible, and the type of friend you can rely on to help you out of a tough spot. And Ankit is learning as an actor, which lends credence to his role as Adhiraj because he can get by with making mistakes and looking awkward since that's how the character is. In a way his very awkwardness in the role makes the character more real.

In other news:

What I find surprising is that Anami understood what Dheeru was saying. Anami really has changed. The fire has brought out a new Anami. The old Anami wouldn't have understood or accepted what Dheeru was saying and would have continued to meet Adhiraj without any care. But this new Anami believes everything is her fault and hence she will stay away. But even if she stays away, can Adhiraj stay away from her? Isn't he supposed to be the more sensible? When Anami visited with the cake, he should have told her to stay away, but he didn't/couldn't. Because now being near Anami is his need and he won't be able to stand being away from her for long. And in the precap that is proven. He goes after Anami and wants to know what she feels. He's revealed his love then?

Satrupa wants to start all over again. But it isn't that easy. To start over, Satrupa would need to go back to the beginning when Anami didn't know about Satrupa, when Satrupa revealed herself, and when Satrupa asked for Anami to come back with her. This relation started on the wrong foot itself with Satrupa falsely accusing PP and SP of kidnapping to blackmail Anami to come back with her. They can't go back to that. They can't start over. Things have come too far.

Another aspect of this conversation was how Anami ignored Adhiraj for Satrupa and her goals. Before even with her goal in mind, Anami would have gladly ignored Satrupa for Adhiraj, but today Adhiraj has become the outsider, the afterthought to Anami's true goal. Anami has gone from a teenager to a young adult. A teenager would bounce between motives and goals, but a young adult starts developing an understanding of a goal and walking towards it.

Zindagi har insaan ko ek doosra mauka deti hai, nayi shurat karne ka. If anything, this one dialogue sums up every character's journey in the show. Satrupa's second chance is now. To start over with a fresh heart and as a loving mother with her second child. Sudha's second chance was when she was brought into the LM, but maybe in the future when she has to choose between family and revenge. Anami's second chance has happened with the fire. Dheeru's second chance was when he first re-entered LM's life again. And so on and so forth. But the point isn't about getting a second chance. It's about how you use it.

Once again LM is successful in brushing themselves of any wrongdoing. Satrupa puts the entire blame on Dheeru. Really? Baldev hated Dheeru and he wouldn't have done anything to hurt Dheeru? Even giving Dheeru 50% partnership was easily brushed onto Dheeru. But I liked how Anami noticed and asked if this was just part of the truth or the full truth. After all Anami has been lied to once with Sudha's story.

Yeh hamara sach hai. Agar koi aur sach hai toh hume nahi pata. This dialogue shows what LM is, but it also raises a bigger question. What is the truth? If I say that 2 + 2 = 5 then I'm lying. But why? Because whoever began counting decided that 2 + 2 = 4. But how do we know that is the truth? In a way LM embodies exactly what we all do or face in our everyday lives. There are always 2 sides to a story. If tomorrow I tell my side of the story, then to me that is the truth. But you may disagree because you have your side of the story which you think is the truth. Look at the court of law. Two sides fight it out to prove themselves the truth while a third party examines both stories and evidences to choose the truth. But they aren't perfect. They have their imperfections. Guilty parties will go off scott-free and innocent parties will be punished. Or the guilty party will not be punished in full because the "truth" could not be established. The reality is that no one really knows what the truth is. It's our upbringing, our surroundings, our society that decides and tells us what the truth is. Yes LM brushes themselves of the truth, but that's also what they believe.

Vikram has chosen to look to the future instead of the past. Anami's brithday is also Vatsalya's death day. If you think about it that is so significant. Vatsalya and Anami turned 17 and Vatsalya was attacked. But he was saved only to die a few days later. Yet their birthday can either look to the future or look back in the past. Vikram chooses to celebrate Anami's birthday, celebrate life even though it is also the same day when they should be remembering Vatsalya, remembering death.

For Sanjeev Kumar post, it is copy paste of urs from Rajesh Khanna. Not only Koshish, every single movie of his (I've seen most). I loved him more than Amitabh Bacchan (I think I got his spelling wrong).

Today's epi: So Adhi dear confesses tmrw. Good. So will there be confusion, then rejection, the heart break and then realisation or will both move on (somehow I think it is Dheeru Sat story all over again). I can be wrong. I had once said there might have been a platonic reln between these two.But I hope the show the past soon.

Dada-Dadi scene was the most beautiful one today. What actors and what exprns in those eyes. So will there be a heartbreak on her 18th b'day? Will Anami leave them only to come back? I know she will. But how? Will there be a death for her to come back or they let her go with all the pain in their heart. But she will come back. How will PP react? MP may accept, but she? I am waiting for that scene.

Sat's apology seemed genuine. And many might wonder what kind of apology that was. Believe me, when there is so much ego in u, it is very difficult to say sorry. Anybody saying sorry will do exactly in that way. Brilliant NS.

Now did Adhi, stop going to office just because Anami wasn't picking up his phone? I will not comment any more. I know, u guys know what is going on in my mind.

Ardha, I've started watching Thuvanthumbikal (I always watch in parts as and when I get time). From whatever, Malayalam I am understanding, I am understanding this movie (I've also read the story in Wiki). I always do for languages I don't understand, so that it is easy.
