Shreya and mangothyme thanks for a wonderful analysis, though I want to go in detail of your analysis and appreciate you a lot for writing it so beautifully due to lack of time I am unable to do it. Both of have made the job easier for me.
So guys I am touching upon the symbolisms. The main aspect Satrupa telling Maa Kali, you can take any test of me, I will endure it, I will not fall but I want my daughter back.
Then her stepping on the coal fire. I strongly believe Agnipareeksha can be taken only by a person who is sure they can come out of it. It is not for the weakminded. Yes Satrupa is arrogant, selfish but as I said before the mother in Satrupa will win along with Pandithayen. Because she walked on that coal. She didnt fall. This is her physical agnipareeksha. She will face the emotional agnipareeksha where Anami will challenge her, but she will go through it and she will come out successful. She will give proof to the world that she is a mother, because if that proof was not coming Satrupa would have fallen in the fire. She didnt fall. When she saw Anami she was still standing on fire.
Agnipareesha of Satrupa is the proof that she is a mother. She didnt wanted intentionally to bring any harm to Ladoo, and she will not do it to a child. That's her limit.
Now Anami coming in white dress and standing in front of Satrupa as she takes AP. White means she is rejecting the colors of LM as white as a color doesnt absorb anything and reflects everything. But for life to go Anami has to put some colors on LM and take some colors from LM too. She is between Adhi and Satrupa. She has Pandithayen's nurture and she has to make the choices on what she will take from LM, what she will let go of her previous life. Because life can only be in colors in blend. Else black will win as the power of Chakravyuha is always with black, always with old.
It also showed when Satrupa takes the AP, Anami will allow herself to be bathed in new colors as with white she is closing her past.
Yes Pandithayen will have to trust her nurture and she had given wings to Anami rightfully. But there is a huge difference between Satrupa and Pandithayen. Pandithayen has not lost a child. Satrupa had lost three. The mother in her wants to protect atleast one. There is a fear in her, part of her tight controls come from that fear. Imagine yourself to be in a position where you have seen the death of your 3 offsprings. Will you be same as a mother who has not lost a child. There will be selfishness and there will be more possessiveness and control to keep hold on what you have. Only thing Satrupa doing here is she wants to protect her child, assauge her guilty conscious she could never protect even one of her offsprings, but at this point her methods are wrong. The AP is for correcting her methods and not her protective intent.
