What I liked most in yesterday's episode was Anami and Satrupa standing face to face in the coal fire and Anami pouring water on Satrupa's burning pallu. Since yesterday I was talking about past and future. The scene was the perfect symbolism of past meeting future. Satrupa faced away from Maa Kali and Anami faced the Goddess. Past has to move away, new has to come. Both past and new will have to walk on coal of fire. Past wanting to preserve the old, new wanting to burn the old. Both will burn and the space between them represented the present in which the new will not allow the past to completely burn. It will only destroy what needs to be destroyed. That's the arrogance of Satrupa. Her denial to accept Anami's foster parents, her thanklessness towards them, but not she as a person, not everything about her. Anami putting water to extinguish fire as it touches Satrupa Pallu was symbolic of that.

This will be Anami's path crossing with Satrupa. The difference between Satrupa and Anami. She fights the war, but not part of the war. She stands up for her right, but doesnt want to burn everything with her fire. Satrupa became of part of LM its neeti, reeti, while Anami wont become part of LM.Her nurture will set her apart.

Satrupa says Anami has changed. Yes she has. The Anami who came first was Satrupa's daughter. The arrogance was that belonged to Satrupa. The one who came back is Pandithayen's daughter. She is trying to keep her nurture over nature. She is dealing with things in a calm mind. She is playing the game with a master player.

Another beautiful scene was Narotham. He simply told he will fight for his rights and not for revenge. I feel he will come to Anami camp. It was beautiful to see. New generation is trying to cut off from old. Trying to build something without destroying relations. Wanting to create something new through mutual love, trust and respect. Most importantly Narotham called his mother's path wrong. Anami doesnt want to accept Satrupa's way just because she is mother. To be frank what I liked most was in a TV world where every rubbish from a woman is accepted because she is Maa, RKC has tried to define Maa and what that word means in real sense.

Yesterday I saw from where Anami might have got her judgemental, inflexible & at times irrational attitude, it's from Mommy Pandit.

"You have to walk a mile in someone's shoe before judging that person" a fav quote. She judged and condemned Satrupa w.o hearing her.Just like her daughter does.
PP is as possessive as Sat is about Anami, she just doesn't have her worldly power to manipulate her.
Did she really let her go?imo, No. "You go but be my daughter ".
and her reason for sending Laddoo along was even more ridiculous than Sat's plan to hide him.
Laddoo's presence is looking as illogical as Naina's presence in LM. Both don't belong in LM, have not served their purpose and the delay is dragging this track.

I was talking to @tiny why this revenge drama may not engage audience. It is misdirected and viewers know Satrupa is innocent atleast wrt to the crime Anmi wants to punish her.

Anami appeals to Vikku emotionally and gains his sympathy by lying about her parents death.🤢 Is it Krishna's way? "All warfare is based upon deception" that's Sun Tzu in Art of war.

I liked Narrotam. He has taken a stand👏He came thr' the door he left opened and offered Sudha sweet , which ofc she threw away.
I'm glad Anami didn't break the pot from which she poured the water, I was like,"please don't break it"😆

I absolutely loved Sat & Gayu's sarees y'day.

Simran i agree with you that PP and Satrupa are both fighting over Anami. Each trying to establish their claim is the mist fair. There is emotional aggression by both. They try to manipulate anami through her love for her brothers. Sudha did the same and Narottam is smelling the rat his mom is and alienating himself from her.

In my view Tanya is the only sensible female character. All the others seem driven by their perception of right and a sense of self preservation.

SP was very sensible in his advice and his parvarish i find laudible. he takes on the responsibility guruji had assigned and gone about as a doting father.

@Vidhya- So true about the mothers using the brothers.

I think M/Pandit always knew, some day he'll have to part with the child he is raising and he does his best to equip his daughter to face her world, one she'll eventually have to go back.

Sat & Madhu imo, are two sides of the same coin,one claims her because she gave birth, the other because she brought her up.

Tanya- let's people make their decision,she desn't impose. I would love to see her advising Anami.

Sorry was occupied and so reading and posting now.

Simmi, generally in serials we see one guy two girls fighting for him or vice versa. The difference here is two mothers fighting for their daughter 😆. In that way this serial hardly is diff from others. But I hope, they soon bring the past and accompanying future. I know y'day had to be there for the next episodes to unfold.

To be fair, y'day I really liked Vikram - the way he felt for Anami showed thru' eyes; very beautiful as g'parents do. And, of course, Narrottam. I feel in this entire series, his is the only character who has been beautifully conceived.

Will Pujan Babu open his mouth? I am missing him and his light-hearted banter with wife and son.

Sat and Anami's acting seemed artificial. Maybe they also got bored 😉.

Shruthi ur analysis is beautiful, but as one forum member put it, r the creatives really going in this direction. It seems more TRP based now. But I do love ur approach to this serial. Continue this whether the makers have the same intent or not. It gives us all a new perspective to view life.

Moonwearer, I think that is where the problem lies. MP understood from day 1, he'd have to part with Anami when the time comes, but a mother's love wouldn't allow that.

Me too missing Pujan's dialogues especially his English. The last we heard him speak English was "OMG" during Laddoo's kidnapping😆

wat PP said was true & on the basis of wat she'd seen of satrupa & she'd done 2 PP.

and how can PP think of sat as sum gud mother or prsn wen sat has blackmailed ,threatened not just anami but also pathaks & also tried 2 put false charges on them & put them in jail also.if sum1 does this 2 u wat will u do & think abt that prsn?sum saint or anoder mother ? no. and moreover sat also snatched ladoo 2 get control over anami.so if PP or anami think her as ruthless arrogant then wats wrong in that. actions speak louder than words.

and neither PP is possessive like sat. shes possessive like oder normal mothers nor satrupa like mothers who r control freaks & treat. their kids as their property

and i think PP want 2 sent anami as her daughter so that anami wont hurt innocents in her war.she said this u shud go but as my daughter bcoz i dont want u 2 forget ur nurture & bcum ruthless like satrupa.

so heres diff btn sat & PP>.PP is normal mother like oder normal mothers who tho wants their kids safety but also want them 2 b happy & fulfill their wishes.

PP wanted Anami not to hurt innocents, what did Anami do today?Involve Poonam, she is ready to die for Anami's cause.Adhi is already in it,anyway he has personal interests too,we can exclude him.

Satrupa can't be like other mothers, I said this earlier, she's the only one who had lost 3 kids,out of which one was murdered and repeated attempts are made on the surviving one.She'll cling to her surviving child with all her might.

simi but it doesnt justify satrupa's tactics or acts.

how can we justify her saying her battles made her like that. then same can b said abt sudha also. she has bcum evil bcoz of LM ppl's treatment.

and anami dint use any1 poonam or adhi.she dint ask poonam 2 help . poonam herself asked 2 help.

and still satrupa hasnt learnt anything from that.she lost her 3 kids but still no lesson 2 b learnt that kids r not property.

and i m sure PP wont turn out 2 b like sat if has gone thru like satrupa. shes going thru worse now.normal prsn dont go ruin ppl's lives even if put thru such condns. they mite go bit away track but dont bcum like satrupa. i cant even sympathise wid satrupa.

shes still thankless &arrogant 2 the core.
