Part 7
Danny calls up Sunny. He said, "We need your help. Can you come home?"
Sunny: Of course, I will. I want to see Saras.
Danny: It is regarding Saras, we need your help.
Sunny: May I know what is the matter?
Danny: I cannot tell you over the phone but I can only tell you that his life is in danger & his image is at stake.
Sunny: Don't worry, I will come.
Sunny comes home.
Kumud, Kumari, & Danny tell Sunny, "Kusum has become a ghost & is troubling us."
Kumud shows him the ring & asked, "This is the ring which Kusum gave my husband & asked him to keep it as her last wish right?"
Sunny: Yes. How do you know?
Kumud: Saras told me everything about Kusum. We have been experiencing the ghostly incidents ever since we got married. She had also entered his body & made him behave violently. We called the tantrik & could somehow free him from that spirit. But she can come yet again. She told us that Saras played with her life. He spent a night with her & misbehaved with her but we didn't believe.
Kumari: But our dad got carried away.
Sunny: Saras didn't do any such thing with her. When I came, Saras pushed her out. Laxminandan uncle there? I want to talk to him.
Danny: Yes, he is inside.
Sunny meets Laxminandan.
He said, "I have come here to tell you about Saras."
LN: Yes, tell me.
Sunny: Saras is innocent. He never misbehaved with Kusum. He has never loved her in his life. She was trying to seduce him but he didn't give in. He ousted her out of the house. Then Kusum met with an accident. We admitted her to the hospital but could not save her. She had given this ring to Saras and accept it as her last wish. Saras did not ante to keep that ring. I had told him to keep that thinking that Kusum's soul will rest in peace. But I was wrong. Kusum's soul is lying. Please don't believe it.
LN: Thank God, you told me the truth. You have freed me from this burden, my boy.
Danri
Danny: It's been a long time. We never had time for ourselves.
Kumari: What about Saras?
Danny: Kumud will take care of him. Shall we go now?
Kumari: Fine.
Both of them go for the candlelight dinner.
Samud
Saras lies on Kumud's abdomen. Kumud carases his head and hair.
Saras: I had never believed in ghosts and evil spirits but now I believe in that.
Kumud: When you believe in ghosts, why not believe in God who can redeem you from all the sorrows? If you remember him with all your heart, then He will definitely listen to you. Come, Let's go home.
Saras & Kumud are on the way. Both see the ghostly incident and run. Kusum's spirit chases them. Saras and Kumud reach home and go to the puja room. Kusum gets irked. She starts destroying things at home thinking Kumud will come out and she can attack Saras yet again.
Kumud: Kusum, you can do whatever you want. I am not scared of you. Even if you break everything here, I don't care. If you are so proud of your powers, come inside the Shiva temple and test it.
Kumari breaks the photo-frame of Saras and Kumud and puts the fire.
Kumud: You burn the entire house and also my body but I will never leave my husband.
Kumari breaks the window panes but was unable to do anything more.
Kumud is happy. She said, "Look Kusum could not do anything to us in Shiva temple."
She searches for the thread that tantrik had put on his wrist.
Kumud: Never remove this thread even by mistake, else you will be inviting trouble.
Saras: I will never remove it for the sake of our love.
Kumud: God is so kind that he has protected us. Pray to God with all your heart, even 1000 Kusum's won't be able to touch you. I will give you the puja books, you be praying, I will bring Bhagwad Geeta Book & come.
Kumud goes to bring the book. Saras folds his hand & is about to pray.
He then hears a voice screaming Saras shouts "Kumud" & comes out of the temple and runs to see what happened. The thread which Tantrik gave gets struck in the broken door & gets cut. Kumud goes to the puja room & gets shocked on not finding Saras there. She goes to the room & sees him possessed yet again.
Kusum: Have you seen my power? I mimicked your voice & made your husband come out of the temple. I also ensured that his thread is cut so I can get inside his body.
Kumud: Deceiving others does not make you powerful. It is cheating.
Kusum: I am not a cheat. Your husband is a cheat. He has played with my life.
Kumud: Don't to dare to accuse my husband falsely. I will not spare you.
Kusum laughs evilly. She said, "What can you do to me? You have got limited powers. You are made up of mud."
Kumud: God has made everyone out from the dust but your body has got mixed with the dust. You don't have the body or the brain. You only depend on others body. But I have got the body, shape & brain. Most importantly, God is on my side.
Kusum: Whatever it is, but you are a weak woman but I am a spirit. I am beyond man & woman.
Kumud: You are not a spirit. You are an evil spirit. Don't underestimate the power of a woman. If the so-called weak woman calls God, the entire earth will start trembling. It is the woman who gives birth to man as well as a woman. One of the ladies names is the Narmada. She had made the sun stop. Savitri had fought with Yamraj & brought her husband to life. I can go to any extent to save my husband.
Kusum: You can fight with Yamraj & save your husband but not Kusum. By today's sunset, your husband will not be able to speak. He will get paralyzed tomorrow. Then he will never be able to move. On the third day, he will become blind & won't be able to see you. On the 4th day, he will be fighting for his survival. He will suffer so much that you won't be able to do anything. Then slowly & gradually, I will snatch your husband right under your nose & you won't be able to do anything.
Kumud starts praying to God. Kusum laughs evilly. She said, "If you claim that God is with you then save your husband from my clutches. Save your sindoor & mangalsutra. That is my challenge."
Kumud: No matter how much ever powerful evil spirit you are, you cannot do anything to us.
She takes the car & goes to the temple.LN, & Ghuman also go to the temple at their house & pray for Saras's well-being. Danny & Kumari go to the temple after having their romantic moments.
Kumud car meets with a small accident but she escapes from the accident & goes to the temple.
Kumud: Oh Lord, I have been worshipping you since childhood. I have not asked anything from you till now but today, I am asking you. The spirit has made fun of your powers & have threatened that she will make me a widow. Please save my husband, not as per my wish but as per your will.
She goes to the river & prays for Saras.
At home. Munshi goes to LN. He said, "Saras is on a critical condition. He is unable to speak & see, He is struggling to breathe."
LN goes to Saras's room & tries to revive him.
Kumud, Kumari & Danny are praying for Saras's recovery.
Meanwhile, Saras tries to get up though he is unable to see. He goes out pushing LN but suddenly he finds himself paralyzed. He falls down from the staircases. LN, Ghuman, VC, & Guniyal come there. They carry him to the room.
Kumud: Lord, don't you have compassion towards me even now? If there is something lacking in my prayers, I will make it stronger.
She rolls on the ground with folded hands chanting Om Namo Shiva.
Kumud again goes to Shiva idol & said, "Please save my husband, else I will bang my head before you & kill myself."
She starts banging her head before the idol. A small boy in the temple goes to Kumud & gives her prasad, vibhuti & the sindoor. He said, "Give this to the person who is suffering, That person will recover soon."
Saras is not able to speak, see or express. LN, VC, Ghuman, & Guniyal are sitting beside him.
Kumud, Kumari & Danny get into the car & rush towards home. Kumud is in search of prasad but does not find it. She asks Kumari, "I had given you the Prasad as I wanted to buy something else."
Kumari searches for it but does not find. She then recollects what had happened.
Kusum laughs. She said, "I will tell you what I did. When your driver was driving fast, I had caused a car accident and made the prasad, the Sindoor, & vibhuti vanish. I am very smart."
Flashback
Kumud, Kumari & Danny were rushing together to their house after the car accident. Kusum had killed the car driver. They had seen the sun setting but they didn't give up. Though Kumud, Kumari & Danny were badly bruised because of the thorns, they still kept on to the fight. All 3 of them reach home.
Kumud's one part of the saree was torn. It had the Prasad, Sindoor & Vibhuti.
Flashback ends
Kusum: You guys are so stupid that none of you understood my game. Now the day is not very far. I will be fulfilling my revenge & will be resting in peace hereafter. This will break your arrogance.
Saras's mouth starts bleeding. Kumud goes near him.
Kumud: That is not the end. Just one strong prayer is more than enough.
Kumud starts praying. All the family members support Kumud in her prayers.

Kumud pleads before the Lord. All members are joining their hands. Tears are flowing from Danny & Kumari's eyes. Saras is struggling. Kusum is laughing evilly.

Saras is in the same condition. Kusum makes the top ceiling rotate. It seemed that it is going to fall on Saras. Kusum laughs evilly.

The sun is close to setting now. Kusum is happy. Kumud crawls inside the puja room.

Kumud falls before God. Shiva & Hanuman go near Kusum who sees them & runs away. Shiva's Trishul chases Kusum at her secret places. Kusum's soul goes to the graveyard. The Trishul pierces the soul & it goes with the dust. Saras finally recovers.
Suddenly, Kumud hears Saras's voice. The family is happy that Saras has recovered & has become fine like before.
Kumud goes to Saras & hugs him emotionally.
Kumud: You are perfectly alright now. Lord Shiva has cured you.
Saras: Yes, you are right. I was not believing in God. I was thinking he does not exist but I was wrong. Nothing is impossible for the Lord. He is the most powerful spirit.
Both go to the temple & pray to God. The pujari & tantrik bless the couple.
Kumari: Kusum has got strong faith. I had got baffled when we lost the Prasad, Sindoor, & the vibhuti.
Danny: That is why Saras considers her as everything to him.
Saras and Kumud come home.
LN: Kumud, your prayers have saved us from this possible disaster. Your faith has also proved me wrong when I believed the ghost.
VC: Now that evil spirit won't trouble us further. So no one will talk about that witch again.
Everyone agrees. They live happily ever after.
