I can understand the worry of the army who did not know what had happened

Parvatak and Malay was their only support here now

and their leaving with a hanging face left them more depressed

From their point of view they had lost and could be punished now

It is so true that kings fight and the common man dies

At the end of the war they are also punished brutally

Grave injustice is done to them normally

True... I wanted to bring in the fear of a common man here... after working for a tyrant king, out of fear though, they were not sure what awaits them after the Truce.. and now the chance of being paid by Nand for their work (in case they had won the war) is also NIL now.

And after working for a enemy, Chandra was paying them ! And sending them home to their family ! That would make them praise him forever.

He made the soldiers happy and also earned their loyalty and good will with this gesture

They had suffered a lot under Nand but Chandra already has got into their good books

So now their allegiance will shift to Chandra and they wont help Nand

So if Nand wants war he has to take help from some other kingdom army now

But that will take time as he does not have enough resources for it

Also he has to marry off his other 2 daughters and he is very helpless now

He also had to agree to Chandra conditions

time has really changed for Nand and it is Chandra time now

@BOLD - thats the only truth. Earlier Nand was manipulating things to achieve his selfish motive. Now chandra is manipulating things to get things in the right perspective for his people. And Nandini.

I love how he assures her that he will be present in the marriage

I presume she also has an idea that Nand may not consent to this marriage fully

After all Chandra is Nand's enemy and now he is marrying Nandini

She still hopes that everything will happen as was planned

I know C&C are a formidable team and nothing bad will happen till the marriage at least

I also enjoyed Chandra pulling her leg ... it reflects their young age, and flirting-fighting tendency

Naturally even the people were happy to see them so much in love

And now they also know what a good relation they both have with each other

I think this in a way is very important for the people to know

as if they know that their King and Queen have a great relation with each other

somewhere they are assured that the kingdom is in good hands

In this case they have already seen what a great person Nandini is

they also know that Chandra wont ever trust a wrong person
