Gosh...I am really feeling bad for Teeku and Chandan😭
Do the Senior Vaidyas get that perhaps someone needs to speak to Teeku and Chandan-at least the Bhabhis should since Harit seems to be unsympathetic and uncommunicative? 😕

I want to go to OUSSS he sobbed leaning on her. He wanted out she realized. He wanted to return to Malviya Nagar That was impossible now She hugged him with a moan. She was mighty home sick also. She was unable to connect with legal topics. She used to be the center of attention at Roorkee on all her visits. Her Delhi stories regaled and entertained.

Adjusting as a new bride itself is a big shift. Now dealing with a younger boy who wants out, her homesickness and a husband who might be gay, I don't even want to be in her shoes. One too many challenges at the same time. Poor Teeku !

Too bad... because this is where he belongs Harit shrugged coolly and walked away

The cold shoulder and stern Harit is not helping.

Meals situation...

At home, we ate whenever and whatever each of us liked to. We were pampered that way. We all ate at our own schedule

The day I was married, it was 6am coffee, 8am breakfast, 12.30 lunch, 4pm coffee and 7.30pm dinner at my in laws.

The idea of running around kitchen looking at the clock made me sick. I was scared if I could fit in because I was never brought up like that. It was always too early. I was used to sippping coffee at 8am and breakfast at 10/10.30. 8am breakfast was choking me.

Even though this is trivial. All these mattered. I can perfectly understand Teeku.

Amazing Nisha that you are able to weave these little details casually into the story. These little things that you write is what connects your readers to the story.

Words like Thank you, Nandri doesn't do justice to how I feel about your writing ! 👏

Thank you Nisha for an early update!

Ayyo Pavam Avantika! She couldn't even go and eat when she feels hungry. I can so relate to her.

And Chandan's Tantrums! Avantika got a taste of how Harit would handle the kid when she brought the subject of switching schools. Well done Harit!

Unshaven gay... guy... he doesn't appear to be the same guy she got engaged to... . He seemed more approachable then.

Comparison ... Delhi and Bareilly doesn't go well with him at all. Three four instances his responses have been very tart. The first was when her proposal was put fwd he shot at his father if Bareilly did not have girls anymore ... then his response to Bani's needling and now to Avantika.
But he's behaving true to what he said to his parents ... don't expect to behave like how bhaiyyas behave with bhabhis.

Konjam Murukku jasthiya irukke!!! 😆 . These guys looks like have decided to be a little stiff in turns. First she then him, now he ...then her?

Never thought this would apply to guys... he is playing hard to get
🤣 ...

Don't know but he is like two guy in one... one who is so obedient of his parents be it shaving or changing clothes, he is like JO MUMMY DADDY BOLEINGE WOH MAIN KARUNGA..
and the other is who is hard as a rock who just went and took the kid from school and was not even ready to talk to Avantika when she came running behind..

"Bas? "Shave se aap Harit ki baat kar rahin hain ya sabki? Meeta prodded

"Bas Harit!!! Teeku responded shocked, in a "why will I notice if the other men don't shave"

Slow and steady wins the race. 😳 cypress and lemon calling!!

It's a tough time this for Avantika. As Teeku, she could dress the way she wanted, she could get up late or early, eat or skip bfast, cook or not cook and head out for lunch, eat where she wanted, when she wanted , pile up laundry ...Total personal freedom and life style choice that comes having been an independent woman.

To make this adjustment where she gets accustomed to that home's stated and unstated rules and practices is a fish out of water time for her. Poor thing is not feeling home yet to say she is hungry.

Contrast the much married ladies from both families have passed these stages and seem to be well adjusted in their respective households with its own set of factors that determine it to be called a home.

Bas chandan is turning uff chandan for the family.

ok, here is what I think...
1. either he is waiting for her to make the first move, considering she didn't bother to talk to him before the shaadi - egoistical
OR
2. he blames her somehow for what append with hemant and shrishti and now chandan - angry
OR
3. this is a clever way though which avantika will snap out of her make believe chnadan dream world and accept him as her husband - strategy
