Arjun came in the conference hall...All are discussing about the case when they heard a soft knock on the door.
Part 3
Few hours ago - Priya's house
She woke up to the voice of the alarm, quickly composed herself and went for a bath.
Today is a very big day for her. She was happy to be back but an unknown fear was gripping her. It's been a year now and she has learnt a lot in this one year. She has trained herself to become a good officer. She has even learnt to hide her feelings and emotions behind the mask of a strong girl...but yesterday's incident have taken a new toll in her life.
She got ready, had a light breakfast and went out to catch a cab.
After 30 minutes, the cab dropped her off in front of a high rise 'ETF Headquaters'.
Yes, this was her dream and now she is back to fulfill it. She took small steps towards the gate. Nervousness was creeping inside her. She was afraid to face all of them.
She enteed into the elevator and pressed the button which will take her to her destination. With each passing floor, her heart-beat was increasing. Her feet were trembling with fear and her hands have suddenly become cold and numb.
Finally, she reached her destination. She looked nervously at the door labelled 'Conference Hall'. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
Present
Rathore: Yes, come in.
A beautiful girl in her early twenties enters the Hall. She is looking stunning with a plain white shirt and blue denims on and hair neatly tied in a high pony.
All were amazed at her looks, and were analyzing her from top to bottom, except one.
As expected, Arjun's eyes were fixed on the file in his hand and he did not pay heed to the person who has entered the room.
Girl(looking towards sameer): Research and Encounter Specialist, Miss Priya Sharma repoting sir.
Hearing the voice, Arjun's head jerked up. He looked directly into the eyes of the girl. They were the same pair of eyes that were haunting him since morning.
Flashback - Today morning(Arjun's home)
He remembered everything from the night when he woke up this morning with a severe headache.
He cursed himself for doing such a reckless thing without thinking about the consequences.
His mind was replaying all the incidents of yeaterday night, but his thoughts got stuck at those pair of beautiful eyes.
Soon, he realised that he is going on a wrong track and wondered how he could lose himself in front of an unknown girl. He mentally scolded himself for doing such a shameful act and brushed her thoughts away. He decided to put an end to all this.
So he got up from the bed to get ready.
He was heading towards the main door when his eyes fell on a something shining near the door. He bent down to pick it up. It was a beautiful bracelet with a broken heart in the centre. He was looking at it intently as if trying to remember something. He has seen that bracelet sonewhere but could not recall.
He tried once again but when his efforts were going in vain, he kept it in his pocket and left for the office.
Flashback ends
He came back to present when he heard Rathore's voice.
Rathore: Welcome Miss Priya Sharma. This is our team and now u r also a part of this ETF team.
Turning towards others "Everyone meet Miss Sharma. She is a very efficient officer and according to commissioner sir, she'll be an asset to the team. She has just returned from an Undercover mission and is joining EFT from today."
Priya: Thank u sir and u can call me Priya.
Rathore: Okay Priya, have a Good day. (Turning towards Ayesha) Ayesha help her get comfortable here and also show her the headquarters.
Saying this he left for his cabin.
Priya(sitting on a chair beside Sakshi): Hello everyone.
All(except Arjun): Hii Priya.
All had a brief introduction and all this while Arjun was staring at her. She did not even for once look up towards him. So he went out without uttering a single word.
Priya was not at all surprised by his behaviour as she expected this.
Shree: Priya, hamare chief se to tum mil hi chuki ho. Aur ye jo abhi yahan se gye, ye hain ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte a.k.a. SYS...Don't worry, ye aise hi hain...khadoos.
She gave her cute smile to Shree.
Soon, all six got mixed up pretty well. They were chatting and laughing. All were amazed at the friendliness of Priya. She mingled well with their group and specially the boys(Choree). She was quite comfortable with them even on her first day...even the boys seemed carefree in front of their new colleague.
