Raj: Naina, where are you?
Naina; Here Raj. In my room.
Raj entered and saw Naina working on a painting.
Raj: Naina this is brilliant!
Naina: You think it's nice?
Raj: Perfect's the word.
Naina: I want my baby to always know that I love him/her and I never blame her for Raghav's actions.
Raj; Your child is very lucky. And you are so talented! Naina, I also want you to pursue another of your talents.
Naina: What Raj?
Raj: Here open this.
Naina opened the package to open books for the bar exam.
Raj: You mentioned you were preparing for the bar when you got married to Raghav. I want you to fulfill that dream of becoming an advocate and appearing in court.
Naina (teary-eyed): How can i? I let myself be abused despite being a qualified lawyer. I am ashamed of myself.
Raj: You have nothing to be ashamed. If anything, you should be proud of yourself for surviving and escaping from that monster.
Naina: Raj you really think I can become an advocate?
Raj: You can become anything you want! I believe in you.
Encouraged by Raj, Nains signed up for tha bar exam. Very soon she became completely engrossed in her studies and loved the preparation. Raj felt thrilled at seeing Naina so happy and busy.
Raj: Naina enough with the books. Dont strain yourself. No arguments. Come out. It's time for your evening walk.
Naina: Raj.. But... Oho ok.. You are like a walking-talking alarm clock.
Raj and Naina were walking in the KMA grounds. There was a chill in the air and silence all around them. Neither of them felt the need to break it. They had become so comfortable that they even enjoyed each other's silence. Sudeenly a loud voice broke their reverie.
Unknown: Captain shekhawat!
Rajveer turned around and smiled as a he recognized the person. The man walked up and hugged him. It was Captain Randhawa. His batchmate and friend. The two men talked non-stop Suddenly Captain Randhawa looked up and noticed Naina.
Raj: Naina this is Vikram. My batchmate and friend. Vikram this is Naina.
Vikram: Nice to meet you Naina.
He shook hands with Naina and gently stroked her hands. Next he looked up and down and eyed Naina with eyes full of lust. Raj was so excited to meet Vikram that he ddn't notice that Naina had gone completely quiet. She had turned pale.
Vikram was a rude reminder of her past. He was the first client that Raghav had sent her to. The first man who had made her feel like a prostiture. She vividly remembered the day.
FLASHBACK
Raghav: You want me to pay for your father's medicines, right? Then do as I say.
Naina knocked the door.
Vikram: Mrs. Sachar please come in. Lieutenant the meeting is done. Please shut the door as you leave and tell my assistant that no one should disturb me for the next half hour. Actually make that an hour.
Vikram went and latched the door after the lieutenant left and closed all the blinds. He then went and sat on his couch and ogled at Naina who was wearing a trench court. He motioned her to remove the trench court.
Vikram: Perfect fir. I see I chose just the right outfit for you. Come here and sit on my lap.
Naina sat uncomfortably on his lap. He quickly pushed the straps and began massaging Naina's breasts.
Vikram then removed the body suit. Naina was now completely naked and crying softly. He made her turn around and looked at her up and down. He then got up and pushed her against the wall. Next he pushed his body against her and opened the zip of his pant.
Vikram: Sorry Mrs Sachar. We'll have to keep foreplay to the minimum.
He made Naina wrap her legs around him and placed his handkerchief in her mouth. He kept thrusting into her as she writhed in pain. He then made her lie down on the floor and repeated the same process. This went on for the next hour. By the end Naina was dripping in sweat and she had lost the energy to cry or protest. He asked her to clean up and as she wore the trench court again he threw a file on her face.
Vikram: That was wonderful. Give this file to your husband Mrs. Sachar. The contract is his.
PRESENT
Naina was speechless.
Raj: What brings you here?
Vikram: I am overseeing the security upgrades for KMA. Handling all the contracts associated with it.
Naina's eyes widened. She knew how corrupt Vikram was and good predict how he'd handle the contracts.
Raj's phone rang and he stepped away to speak on the phone.
Vikram: Mrs. Sachar!
Naina: Naina. My name is Naina.
Vikram: Naina, you look lovely. This pregnancy is really suiting you. And I must say you have hit the jackpot with Raj. Keeps you in his house while still treating you like a goddess. I am sure he hasn't even touched you yet. He was always the gentleman.
Naina:That is none of your business. And don't be mistaken. I won't let you ruin KMA's security contracts. I'll tell Raj all about you.
Vikram: Oh really?! Well I'll also tell you the night you were my prostitute.
Naina (choking): He knows that Raghav made me sleep with his clients.
Vikram: Of course. But once he knows the details will he really see you in the same way. He'll probably feel disgusted by you. Think about it.
Raj came back. Vikram left from there.
Naina was in a fix. The thing she loved most about her relationsip with Raj was the respect he saw in his eyes for her. He had helped her redicoevr her own dignity. She couldn't bear the thought of Raj being disgusted by her. She kept quiet for a week but finally she couldn't bear it any longer.
She went to Raj's room. He was fast asleep. She woke him gently.
Raj: Naina, are you ok? Are you in pain? What time is it? It's 3 am?
Naina began crying and told him everyting about Vikram. Raj's faced turned red with anger as he heard the story. He hated Vikram for selling his country. And as importantly for hurting Naina.
Raj: Wht didn't you tell me earlier.
Naina looked away.
Naina: I know after knowing the details you probably feel disgusted and will feel sick around me. I couldn't bear the thought.
Raj: Look here. Look into my eyes. Do you see any disgust? Don't ever think that.
Naina: Raj. But how do we stop him from runing the contracts.
Raj: Leave that to me.
Raj went over all of Vikram's dealings and established a strong case against him. He took the proofs to Brigadier Chandok who immediatelly got him removed. In fact court martial proceedings were started against Vikram.
As Vikram left the Brigadier's office, he saw Naina. He walked angrily towards her but raj appeared as a shield before he could reach her.
Raj: Leave Vikram There's no place for you here.
Vikram: Oh really?! But there's place for this sl**t, this wh**e?
A crowd had begun gathering. Brigadier Chandok came out too and asked Vikram to leave.
Vikram: I'll go but before i leave I have onq question. I am facing action for sleeping with this prostitute. WHat about Captain Rajveer Shekhawat? He keeps her as a mistress.
Rajveer: Vikram!!!
Brigadier; Leave! Now.
Vikram left. But Dr. Mishra spoke up.
Ritu: Sir Vikram may have been guilty but he has a valid point, Captain Shekhawat does live with Naina.
Raj: My living arrangements are no ones's business.
Ritu: We have young impressionable students. What will they learn when a member of the faculty keeps a woman, a woman like Naina as his mistress.
Raj was seething in anger. It's hard to imagine what he would have done if naina's hands hadn't held his and calmed him down.
She almost dragged him back to the house.
The moment they got inside the house Raj punched the wall with his hand.
Naina: Raj!! Please Raj. Please for my sake calm down,.
Raj: How dare they? No one speaks a word, this society remains quiet when raghav abuses you for two years. But everyoe needs to talk now.
No.. I am going to end this once and for all.
STOP THIS NONSENSE.
He held NAINA by the shoulders and looked deeply into her eyes.
Raj: Naina, will you marry me?
