Naina's mother: I am glad I have ypu two on speaker today. Naina doesn't let me talk to you Rajveer and I am sure she hasn't told you what I asked her to.
Naina: Maa... please. I am keeping the phone down
Raj: Naina. No. Maa tell me what did you want to say?
Naina's mother: Beta you know we are going to the US to take of my critically ill sister? We want to take Naina with us.
Raj: But ma why naina?
Naina's mother: Beta, naina needs constant care and attention during her last stage of pregnancy. We know it's not ideal for her to travel this far at her stage. But there is no other option. You don't have any family or anyone.. who can...
Naina: Ma. Enough! I don't need anyone to take care of me. And Raj is here to support me!
Raj: No, Naina. Aunty is right. I should have thought about this. But i was too selfish and self-cetred. You should go with Maa and Baba..
Naina: Enough you too. No one decides for me. I am not going and that's final.
Naina cut the call.
Naina: Really Raj, our baby and I are an inconvenience for you now?
Raj: you know it's not like that. I just want the best for the two of you.
Naina: And the best for the two of us is to be with you. You hear that?
Raj: Ok.. I am sorry... Lieutenant Shekhawat. No more arguments.
Raj and Naina smiled at each other.
Next morning Raj told Naina that Col. Shakti Chandta wanted to meet him.
Raj went to Col. Chandra's office.
Col. Chandra: Raj you have done a great job at KMA. Not only did you manage to find the spy but you also managed to undo a grave wrong that had been done to Captain Naveen Singh Ahluwalia.
Raj: Thank you sir, I am glad everything worked out.
Col: Chandra: And now it's time to move on to more important goals and missions. Rajveer you are being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and will take care of our base in Jaisalmer.
Raj: I am honored Sir. But I must respectfully declined. I have never had a problem with any of my postings. I have gone wherever the army has sent me. But right now my wife Lieutenant Naina Shekhawat is 7 months pregnant. Her parents had to go to the US to take care of her aunt. We have no one else and KMA is family for us.
Col Shakti: I understand Rajveer. But our base in Jaisalmer is completely equipped. Besides the army hospital, one of the best maternity hospitals in India is located there. You'll have a completely furnished house and staff at your disposal.
Raj let me clarify. You don;t have an option. You need to report to Jaisalmer by the end of this week.
Raj: But Sir.
Col Chandra: Raj please. Make the most of this responsibility.
Raj: Right Sir. Jai Hind!
Raj was troubled but made sure he looked normal by the time he reached KMA. He found Naina staring at herself in the mirror with an annoyed but cute expression on her face.
Raj: Admiring how beautiful I look?
Naina: No! Wondering if I am 7 months pregnant or 12 months? Just look at my size! Are you sure Shalini didn't make a mistake/ I am sure we are having triplets or at least twins.
Raj laughed loudly and then came and held her from behind,
Raj: No. We are just going to have one rather golu molu baby.
Naina: And it's going to be a nightmare pushing her/ him out.
Raj: But I'll be ther for you every step of the way. And after that I'll do everything. Changing nappies, putting her to bed, taking care of you, cooking for you!
Naina: Wow Major Shekhawat... Are you sure that'll suit your macho image?
Raj: actually it's not Major any more. I am being promoted. It's Lieutenant Colonel now.
Naina gave him a bear hug and kissed him
Naina: Congrats Colonel! I am so proud of you
Raj: But that means we have to leave KMA.
Naina: I know it's not ideal. KMA is family. But this is army life isn't it?
Raj: I am being sent to command our base in Jaisalmer. I said it's not right for you. I want to be able to focus on you and the baby..And..
Naina: Are you sure it's only about us?
Raj: What do you mean?
Naina: Are you sure this has nothing to do with the fact that your nana and nani live in Jaisalmer.
Raj: This has nothing to do with Gayatri and Raghuvendra Shekhawat.
Naina looked unconvinced.
Raj: Fine it does! It has everything to do with them. I don't want to be pulled by my past. I dont!!!
Naina calmed Raj down and made him feel more happy about the move.
Naina: Raj, don't you think it's a good omen? Our baby will be born in the land of your ancestors.
Raj nodded. He wasn't looking forward to facing his past but he was glad Naina was with him. And very soon he'd have a daughter of his own. His own little family. He didn't need anyone else.
KMA bid a tearful farewell to Raj and Naina. No one wanted to see them go. But they were convinced that this wasnt the end of their journeys.
Raj and Naina reached Jaisalmer. Raj dropped Naina home and had to immediately go to the army base. He was busy with inspectionsa nd welcomes all day. He came back to see how Naina had transformed their bungalow into a beautiful house.
Naina herself looked gorgeous wearing a simple white salwar kameez with a leheriya dupatta
Raj: How did you? This looks amazing... You look amazing. How long have you planned this?
Naina: Since the day you told me we are moving to Jaisalmer. I loved our suite of romms in KMA but it's nice to have a complete bungalow. I wanted to make it our home. Your home. Where your family lives!
Raj walked up to Naina, held her tightly by the waist and kissed her passionately on her lips. Throughout her pregnancy Raj had always made her feel physically attractive by showering love in both physical and emotional ways.
He gently made her sit on the bed after placing enough pillows and continued kissing her while making her as comfortable as possible. She was breathless by the time he was done. He then lay down in her lap and closed his eyes. He placed his dupatta on his face and a gentle smiles appeared on his lips.
Raj: This is home for me.
Naina bent down and kissed his eyes gently. Naina massaged his forehead and ran his hands through his hair.
Naina: I don't want to disturb you but this came in the mail for you today.
Raj got up. placed his hands around Naina and opened the mail. A few moments later his eyes had turned red and he was choking as he tried to speak.
Raj: Gayatri and Raghuvendra Shekhawat want us to go for dinner next week. Apparently they always invite the new base commander and his family. The people who abandoned me so many years back.. want me to come to their house now. And you know what I kow the only reason they are inviting me is because they don't know who I am. Otherwise their b**tard grandson would never have been welcome in their palace.
Raj was crying by now. Naina hugged him and wiped away his tears. Raj hugged Naina tightly and nuzzled his face in her neck. He didn't know what came over him and he quickly removed Naina's dupatta and kurta. All he knew was that he felt comforted only in his proximity to Naina and he wanted to remove all the barriers. Naina wanted to do her bext to help raj and helped him ease into her as much as possible. She held his face against the nook of her face and could feel Raj moving his hands over her bump and moving them to her breast. Her breasts were very sensitive and she gave a loud moan as he pulled her nipples.
Raj looked up embarassed.
Raj: I am so sorry Naina. I don't know what got into me.. I hope I didn't hurt you.
Naina: Shh... I am enjoying this. Continue doing what you are doing. Just be careful with the baby.
Raj was gentler than usual. Being so close to Naina and the baby made him forget all his pain and Naina felt extemely happy that she was still so appealing and attractive to her husband.
After an amazing love making session Naina lay on her side with her head resting on Raj's hands. Raj's other hand was around her bump holding on to it possessively.
Raj: This is my family. You and our darling. And I don't care about or need anyone else.
