Naina stood,slightly shivering on the edge of the cliff...still in shock over what she had just done....her outburst had shocked her just as much as it had shocked everyone else...and she had no idea what had made her just scream out all those things....as if a volcano had erupted and the frustration of the past few week had come spilling out...her brother's words...her own feelings....she still shuddered to think about it...."Naina..." naina turned back to see ali standing behind her...."A...ALI..." she stammered...but ali just shook his head and held up his hand..."please...kuch mat kahiye...bas,ek baar,humaari baat suniye....hum...hum...hum bevakooph the....mad,stupid....pata nahin humein kya..." but naina caught his hand n shook her head..."ali..please apologise mat karo....wahaan...woh sab maine jo bhi kiya...i did it because it was rite...mujhe woh sab bahut pele keh dena chaahiye tha ali..toh baat yahaan tak nahin aa pahunchti..." naina looked down.."lekin...hum itne bade gadhe the.." "nahin ali...tu gadha nahin tha....gadha main tha..." n naina n ali both turned to come face-to-face with huda....it was the first time he'd called ali by his name since they'd met, n both naina n ali felt a shock hearing it from him..."phoolan..." sed huda stepping forward to her..."sorry...m very sorry yaar.." "mujhe kyun sorry bol raha hai..tujhe sorry kisi aur se kehna chaahiye..." n she looked pointedly at ali....huda looked at him,and for the first tme,ali felt as if...as if huda had really changed..."ali...yaar...m...m...m sorry.." "arrey..huda bhai..aap.." ali stopped him...n for a minute,the two looked at each other.....and hugged.....naina smiled...

it seemed as if two brothers were meeting after a long long time...."arrey....apun log ko chod ke yahaan kya party chal rahi hai..." n the 3 of them turned 2 see alekh,pooja and ud running upto them...pooja was the first to reach..."naina..wahaan...woh sab....wah yaar!!! tera toh calltime overtime hi chala gaya...ekdum jhakaas offer bola tune...sabke incoming call ko toh delete hi maar diya..." n naina culdnt help laughing seeing pooja so happy.....the two gurls gave each other a big hug n laughed together...apparently for no reason n d boys watchd,a bit unsure whether the two had suddenly lost their mental balance.."in ladki log ka kuch samajh nahin aata...kabhi ganga bahhati hai toh aisa lagta hai ki paagal khaane se uthkar yahaan apunlog ka apni hasi se khopchi kharaab karegi..." "rite u r chief!" sed ud.."mujhe toh yahaan bahut darr lag raha hai.." n pooja n naina playfully slapped the two on the arms...

"ud held his hand saying.."uff!!naina..fracture hi kar daala yaar!" n huda spoke up wid a naughty smile..."aise hi kya iska naam phoolan pada?? main toh bolta hoon...chaahe toh kisi ka sir tod ka use patak degi.." " aur agar tu abhi chup nahin karega toh sabse pehle tujhpar hi yeh try karke dikhaaoongi!!" sed naina in mock anger to huda.."arrey...koi aapki tareef kare toh kya yeh kehte hai unhe??" sed ali.."kyun..??? tu toh kabhi kisi ki tareef nahin karta..toh.." sed pooja.."chaliye....aapki hi tareef kar dete hai..kya pasand hai aapko....sher,shayari...filmy dialogue..humein woh zyaada nahin aate.." n he faced pooja,his eyes luking deep into hers....poojas glance held his for a minute before she turned round, faint tinge on her cheeks...naina,huda,alekh n ud knew wat was goin on n smiled secretly at each other...."kyun pooja..?? kya pasand hai tujhe....bol na...jijaji wait kar rahe hai..." n everyone laughed loudly as pooja turned to strangle naina...the six of them lunged to stop her n were laughing n playing....n somehow...it didn't seem as if they were there to fight a war...as if, a few minutes ago,they were ready to kill one another because they were from different religions....they were jus 6 best frnds going crazy and freaking out with each other....and it was the most cherished sight raj had seen on the entire time they were there....he luked down n smiled to himself...

naina spotted raj out of the corner of her eyes the minute he crept up behind one of the tents,but she had kept quite...wen ali finally sed dey shuld be goin in coz d cold was getting too much,naina told them thet she'd join in a minute..the 5 of them turned n trooped inside n as they left,naina called out.."colonel shekhawat...plzzz bahaar aayie.." n raj stepped out..rather surprised..."aap...woh....jaante the.." naina laughed..."ji haan...aapko maine usi samay dekh liya tha jab aap chupke se wahaan us tent ke peeshe chip rahe the...." n raj had to smile..."naina....m proud of u...." n naina smiled too...."n navin wuld hav been very proud too...very proud..." n nainas eyes suddenly got a faraway luk in them....her brother....he wuld hav been proud...raj laid his hands gently on her shoulders....n try as she mite...naina couldnt stop her heart from suddenly beating faster n her cheeks from going red...."naina....i need to say something..." naina luked up into his eyes....n...dey locked...jus like always....dere eyes locked n his luked into hers...deeply...strongly....jus like dey used to luk at her...n raj felt it too...h culd see behind those eyes of hers....the sadness,the pain...he culd feel it...

"m sorry..." he whispered softly...n nainas expression changed tosurprise...n...sumthing else...he culdnt quite make out..."sorry...?" she asked.."yes.." he sed.."sry...for everything i hav dun till now...rite from...from that day in KMA to...to now...m sorry naina..." "u did it to save me raj..i know u did...." sed naina..."how..?" "its not difficult to know you after i've known you for so long ....n i'm sorry...that i never saw it before...i always felt hurt...that you didn't hav the courage to face the world about us...but i did....i was..i was selfish...i dint see u were doing it 4 me..i was..i was really very bad..." n her eyes suddenly filled wid tears..she turned round to wipe them but raj stopped her..."you've never been selfish naina...ever...you've been open,honest...everythng dat navin was...." naina luked down,still tryin to wipe her tears...but raj held up her face..."you dont always hav to be so brave you know..." he sed softly....n naina closed her eyes....raj pulled her towards him, n soon..they were hugging each other...his hands comforting her...softly moving over her head n hair...as she cried...cried out everything that had happened so far....n he held her...as he had always done...

a few minutes later,they broke apart,n naina wiped her eyes.....raj held her face in his hands n dey stood lukin at each oder....drinking in the face dey had always luved...wen...suddenly..."DONG DONG DONG!!!" "its d energency bell!!" sed raj suddenly alert..."deres been an attack...n hand-in-hand...naina n him ran towards d tents....
