Not a single person had stepped forwad 2 help…everyone jus stood like a statues,staring at the sight in front of them…..n naina couldn't take it…."STOP IT!!!" she creamed, and huda and ali looked up instinctively…."tum logon ka DIMAAG KHARAAB HO GAYA HAI KYAAA???" "tu isse door reh phoolan…" began huda.. "is usool ko sabak Sichuan hi padega…" "huda…."sed naina.."kya hua..ekdum se yeh sab.." "mere liye ek chitthi aayi hai…mere dost se…gaanw se…jisme sach likha tha….ki agar hum yeh jung jeete..toh ussol jaise log.." "muslims…" sed naina slowly.."thodi si respect dikhaaoge toh.." "arrey inko kya respect dena..???" laughed huda…n nainas blood boiled…she walked up….slowly…..n……SLAPPP!!

A resounding slap was laid on hudas cheek….d force of it was so strong that huda regaled back in shock n let ali go…"phoolan…?" he asked still in shock.."ha…phoolan??" sed naina…"ek baat bataa huda….agar kal India america ke against war karei…toh mujhe bhi apne saath PM ke ghar le jaana…" huda stared puzzled.."haan…kyunki PM itna achcha hai ki hum sabse pooch kar war karega na..?? har country ke leaders logon se poochkar war karenge na…???" every1 stared at naina shocked…"tell me…everyone…yehi hota hai na??? har jung mein humaari haan mili oti hai na??? Pakistan mein bhi..sab logon ne haan ki..isiliye wahaan ke leaders ne yeh jung ki hai…har desh mein har leader apne logon ki opinion ki itni respect karte hai na???" "naina…" raj stepped forward....

"nahin sir…please….ab bahut ho gaya…let me speak…." n she turned 2 the watching crowd of soldiers…"India aur Pakistan…do aise desh hai…jinka sadiyon se jung chal raha hai….magar ek baat bataayiye…kya yeh jung….hum logon ne chuna?? Partition nahin hona chaahiye tha…magar kuch insane ki wajah se ho gaya….lekin hum logon ke andar itni toh AKAL honi chaahiye,ki is dharti pe border ko dil pe bhi border na banaa le…humaare former president bhi ek muslim the…aise kitne muslims bharat aur Pakistan mein hai, jo in do deshon ke logon ko ek karna chaahte ha….aur hum..hum kya kar rahe hai???? Is jung ko itne seriously le rae hai??? Ek aisa jung,jiske shuru hone mein,kisi bhi desh ke logon ka koi haath nahin tha??? WOW!! I must say…aap logon ke liye clap karna chaahiye.."

Naina looked at Ali…"Ali…shayad hum itne achche dost na ho….shayad…shayad uski apni wajah se mujhe pasand nahin karta ho….aur main yeh isiliye nahin kar rahi ki main yahaan devi banna chaahti hoon…agar humaari dosti nahin ho sakti,toh theek hai…magar yeh main sirf ek ali ke liye nahin bol rahi..sawaal do deshon ke future ka hai…humaare future ka hai…kab tak hum is matter pe ladenge, ki who hindu hai,main Muslim hoon,who christian hai,who pakistaani hai…I mean…." nainas voice faltered,n her brimmed with tears as she remembered a distant memory…"mere bhaiiya kaha karte the…..unke ek favourite gaana tha…Beatles ka……'love is all u need….all u need is luv..' " n she slowly hummed these lines…."agar do desh ke log ek doosre ke saath pyaar se reh sake,toh is duniya ka koi bhi jung unke beech daraar nahin la sakta….India,Pakistan koi bhi desh ho….kya humaare andar itni feeling nahin hai ki hum sach ko dekhe….aur sach yeh hai, ki jinke upar hum har cheez ka Blame daalte hai….jin par aaj hum itna gussa kar rahe hai…unki koi galti hi nahin hai….desh bhakti ka matlab hota hai apne desh ke liye pyaar….apne desh ke liye kuch karna…magar iska yeh matlab nahin hai ki doosre desh ke logon ko maar daale…kyunki desh-bhakti se bhi uper ek cheez hai…insaaniyat,humanity…luv,compassion,brotherhood…..aur mujhe bas is baat ka aphsos hai, ki aaj, hum…jin par is desh ka future tika hai….hum yeh baat bhula chuke hai…" n wid dis…naina turned n ran out of the room….leaving behind a pin-drop silence…..

A few minutes later,Raj stepped forward, clapping….his claps breaking the silence like thunder…he turned 2 face huda n sed…"kyun cptn amardeep huda? Ab kya kehna hai aapko…ya…" he turned to face the silent watching crowd.."aap sabko…??? Kya kahenge aap??? Jo baat…jo baat aap 'mardon' ko pata hona tha…ek aurat ke muh se sunna kaisa laga aapko??? Aaj….aaj, zindagi mein pehli baar…mujhe yeh kehte hue sharm aaa rahi hai, ki kabhi aap log mere cadets the….aur mujhe khud pe gussa aa raha hai…ki main aapko…itna nahin sikha paaya…" he luked down…"I failed as a teacher….I failed…" and raj too turned n followed nainas path outside…..

No one stirred, no one moved….but ali n huda, exchanged a glance….a sad,gulti glance at each other…..
