Chapter 209- The Eureka Moment

Sudhir and Poorni were in Sreedhar's room post the dinner. Sreedhar looked at them.

" What is it Bhaiyya" asked Sreedhar.

" Sreedhar do you think you did the right thing. What if someone else notices your connection" asked Sudhir.

" Exactly Chachu, when you practice you both will have to dance" told Poorni.

" Bhaiyya Poorni I don't know who will observe what. But what I know is that I did the right thing. Today Sumi burned her hand and Maa was telling two days back she almost tripped from stairs. Sumi is committed to her work, relation whatever it is and if she feels she cant solve something she gets panic driven. So should I think of her welfare now or the truth between us. That truth Bhaiyya anyways one day everyone has to know. I hope you both will be there with me to deal with it whenever that happens" he looked at Sudhir and Poorni with expectation.

" We are there Sreedhar. You don't worry about that. I just told you so that if something does happen it doesn't shock you and then you regret the decision. Now take rest. Good night" told Sudhir as they both walked out.

As planned Suman asked all the students to come for full day practice on Sunday. They all started practice. Sreedhar showed dance steps and as Suman saw the boys started improving, their body language changed.

After the lunch break Sreedhar told they all will practice together. First he told he and Suman will dance together so that the kids can know how it should look when they dance. Suman was thankful it was not a romantic number when he told that. Because if it was she knew the entire family will know what their relation is. Their eyes will tell the world what they felt about each other.

Rajasekhar and Tilak were not there as they had to go to check on new stock arrivals as festival season was approaching. Sudhir had gone to Gurgaon for the same reason. Renu and Vindhya were busy packing the spring collection of Rashee for Agra Cultural fest.

Maheswari anyways decided to check on the practice and she joined the children. As she observed Suman and Sreedhar dancing together to the tune of " Maa tujhe Saalam" a sudden thought hit her. The way they were dancing it was obvious they were not dancing together for the first time. Because the steps were flawless, intuitive as if one knew how the other will dance. As she processed the thought she was shocked to discover what it could mean. One they both had danced together in college. Maybe something her father found out that his daughter danced with a guy and decided to marry her off. It was inline with her statement their honor was protected. Yes it is a fact that a girl dancing with a guy was not taken lightly by the community. Marriage alliances might not have come for her. Even they wouldn't have approved of her as their bahu. Well to be frank even she was not really happy to know her son has danced with a girl or maybe girls and his father wouldn't be happy either. But now she knew maybe times have changed she shouldn't be thinking too much about it. If she can pardon Sreedhar, she can pardon Suman too.

They didn't wanted family to know they knew each other and had danced with each other. Given the condition that was expected from them. But something more bugged her. Is it just that they danced together or.. as she thought about the possibility her head started spinning. She began to analyze each of the interactions.

" Bhabi" was what Sreedhar had asked when he knew about Murali's death. Then after he came from Delhi it was Sumanji. Not once he had called her bhabi.

" Maa you think Sumanji is a family breaker " he had asked after she had confessed she didn't wanted the marriage with Murali.

Sreedhar wanted to know what his mother thought about Suman. Whether she liked Suman.

First she had to find conclusive evidence on what she thinks is right. Then she had to know what happened with Suman, why her son didn't tell anyone about Suman. She looked at both of them still showing steps to the kids. She wanted to be happy, but she didn't know why the tears were coming. Why there was overwhelming sadness in her. Then she realized. Now the question was more painful. Why did Murali had to marry Suman, a girl who might have loved his brother.

Oh my god. MV is so good at connecting the dots. An kya hoga.how can she actually get to it so soon. I just wish that she doesn't be upset with them for long. Jhatke pe jhatka waiting for another one :P

By the last line Maheshwari was questioning Murali 's intention or was it her fear of Sree's kundali? Y did Sree confirm with Sudhir and Poorni? Is he still not out of Rakhi's words?Maheshwari is so open minded and accepting.

Chapter 210- Don't dig the past

" Tilak what is the problem with you. For some days I am noticing you are lost in thoughts" came in Renu and sat beside him in the bed.

" I was thinking about something Renu." told Tilak.

" Is it about ED investigation, that is more or less done right. Business there are no major issues. Our retail shop is also going quite good. Your daughter is here, she has got admission to the group she wants. Now what is the big headache you have" told Renu."

" Renu it is about Suman and Sreedhar" told Tilak.

" What about them. See I didn't get much time to do any detective work to check on what you asked me couple of months back. Was too busy with lot of things. But tell me what is bugging you. Maybe I have solution."

" Renu Sreedhar have fallen head over heels in love with Suman. The way my kid brother was looking at her during Nami's dance performance it was very obvious to me that he loves her. You can't miss the spark in the eyes. A kind of happiness and shyness when you realize that intimate feeling for someone. But then I feel Suman had loved someone in her college. Also she might have met that person when she went for her friend's wedding in Jodhpur. There is a new found happiness in her."

" Tilak Suman is happy after the shop opening. She enjoys her work. Don't bring bizarre theories. What made you think she loved someone in college" asked her Renu as her thoughts raced to Suman telling she didn't wanted to marry Murali. But she knew she cant tell Tilak that as Maa had strictly told everyone that day whatever said in that room will not go outside.

" Renu Suman is a beautiful girl. She is telling she has two Rakhi brothers. If you ask me the most dreaded thing for any young man in college is Rakhi thread. Many don't come to college days leading to Rakhi to escape the embarrassment of any beautiful girl putting them in brother zone.But two young men allowed her to tie Rakhi for them. If you look from a man's view point that means only one thing. The girl in consideration had a man in her life. So if she makes them brother it is accepted.

Renu I said earlier also I don't want Suman to accept Sree out of obligation to us. We should try to know who her brothers are, see in a way she staying here itself is strange. It was her choice. Though I didn't think much that time, but in retrospect what made her take that step. To be in a family which has every chance of hating her. She wanted to die. Most probably yes because the marriage happened against her wish. Yes Sree is my brother but for his happiness I cannot stake the happiness of Suman. We have to find who she loves and then make Sree understand. I am sure he will understand" told Tilak.

Renu was thinking as Tilak was speaking. She analyzed each incident. She knew Maa had heard Suman was screaming to her mother when they came to take her. She had not told Tilak about it. At that time Tilak had enough going in his head and she had not wanted to burden him. She knew there can be truth in what Tilak says, but certain other things contradicted it. Finally she was able to make some connection.

" Renu are you listening " asked Tilak shaking her.

" Yes Tilak you spoke a man's view point. Now listen to a woman's view point. Yes I agree she might have loved someone. But I feel that is Suman's past. She is the bahu of this house. She has completely accepted this house as hers. I can see it in her behavior. Then coming to the man she might have loved. Just because she sent Rakhi to her brothers is it necessary that she is in touch with him."

" Renu.."

" Wait Tilak let me complete. Suman read the unspoken words of Sreedhar Tilak. A woman doesn't read the unspoken words of a man unless she feels close to him. Then when Sreedhar agreed to help her with dance I saw a happiness in her. A kind of happiness a woman feels when she gets something from a man who she considers special. So trust me. Don't dig out her past. It is closed for good. Allow her present to flourish with our Sree. Let whatever they feel about each other bloom. Then we will ask. I feel Maa will agree. Infact I said earlier also she herself wants it. So don't think too much into it."

Tilak pulled Renu in his arms. Yes she had the point. Her love had won him over and if she feels Sree's love has the power to win over Suman and her past why he should deny them a chance. After all Renu was never wrong in her assessment of people.

nice updates sis... sree helping suman with dance brought more clues to the family... MV is really a detective... she almost reached the truth... if sree had told the truth before murali's marriage, MV would have accepted happily... renu and tilak were also good at connecting clues... but they look only at the present, so they were not aware of sree and suman's love... loved how tilak wanted to give suman her love and how renu wanted to give suman a chance to love again... if they know the truth, they will be happy to the core... waiting for the next part..

Hi, I know I am really irregular but just making my 2 points here. It's about MV's thought. "Why Murali had to marry Suman?". That's his way to save his brother from heart break. I will tell you how, he has been the shield to See from the childhood days. He always kept sree's Road clear. Now his destiny decided that he should pave the road for Steve to reach his love, hence made him to marry Suman so that she doesn't Go far away from her life and unreachable. He was a person with shorter life and that was the reason RV looked for a girl with dheerga Sumamgali yoga, so that his son can live longer. Having said that Suman was already married to sree, hence her yoga could not help Murali from his untimely death.
