Dee I can cook only two items
maggie and egg burji.Not even omlette.

Ingedients
Dessicatted coconut 1 big cup
i cup rice to be cooked separately

Seasoning
curry leaves
Hing
peanuts
cashew nuts
channa dhal
urad dal
mustard
Salt
cgeen chillies
cooking oil

Heat the oil add the mustard seeds , once the mustard pops add the cashew peanuts channa shal and urad dhal and allow it to turn golden. add the cut chillies curry leaves and hing. Add the oconut and salt...mix well turn off the heat. Add the cooked rice and serve.

I am liberal in the use of the dhals and nuts as my family loves it. So havent specified the quantity...The preparation time is less than 10 minutes once the rice is cooked and coconut dessicated.. .

Thanks SRI will make it pucca and let you kn A h W it turned to it. I love everything coconut. But I tend to burn the coconut when I cook. So I guess the heat has to be off once you add the coconut right?

yes Shru add it finally. I turn off the flame even with freshly grated coconut / the heat of wok is enough and you will be able to fix it well in it before transferring it to your container.

Hey folks, relatives at home from India and a bit of a crazy wkend sightseeing and shopping. Glanced thru the updates and hv to reread them again .

Shruthi sorry saw this late and was running around . Hence couldn't post the recipe. What I do is add the tadka and give the cocunut a toss to a slightly deeper color, and then add the rice while keeping it at sim

Have fun making and eating it.
