Manage the Train...

Wow!! An awesome... so befitting a title for the update... Compartments of a train as in the children those that are being added by II and dude, II the engine who powers the train and Dude who is the train driver or rail engineer who's responsible for managing and handling the train and last but not the least APPA THE OLD RAIL GUARD OR STATION MASTER ... 😆

Now appa the rail guard is worried , super protective , thinking the II the engine will break down if bogies/ compartments and their bulk/ weight are frequently being added and is adamant in refusing to show the GREEN FLAG 😆 where as Dude the rail engineer couldn't care less about the old rail guard's concerns about the engine and he's saying to appa, I'm the driver of the train who knows all about the engine, the bogies , it's power, the load of the bogies/ compartments... ... I the driver/ engineer along with the engine know very well all about its locomotion , speed, bulk, maintenance and managing /handling the train we drive...

So basically old guard... shoo away ... this is a high speed train which will not bother to wait for the old guard's GREEN FLAG 😃

Take a bow Nisha for the title that's so apt for the train of children ... 👏 👏 👏

Ok this is no laughing matter ... True that Nisha, it's a huge load on the body of a woman stretched mentally and physically. Mr. Iyer if he's complaining to dude about his concern should direct this to his daughter as well. While II makes enough noises about getting her tubes tied, she slips to be definitive of her wants .

To be fair , may be II and Dude are just so relieved after the long wait of six years they had for the twins to the surface after the miscarriage fiasco... that they did not specifically take care about further planning ...And things happen that seemingly seem to be out of control.

But when Sahana comes, every niggle will be forgotten and it will be a party 😳

While Appas concern is genuine, why does the angst have to be directed at HIM only. His little baby is equally responsible for this condition. Yes I am with appa in regards to his daughters physical and mental well being strentched to the ultimate but he should rant in private. He could show concern to the dude but in agentle manner - Lekin agar hamare appa gentle ho Gaye then Manya will be II's best friend and RB will once again play in Ranjans godi😉. Quite impossible.

Appa's concern is ok but if II is his baby then II is also the mother of two and soon going to be of fourth one
Being concerned is ok but being arrogant is not ok
But then he is always like this only with dude
I give dude full marks for marks for being patient and polite with appa always

Life has transformed into a roller coaster ride of the couple.

Twisting and turning vaulting them high hurling them low

Amid delirious shrieking and gritting teeth

The ride churns the insides of her belligerent Appa

Evokes a wide grin on the face of the Dude

The patriarch delirious at his remarkable luck

A house and hands full of mischief and innocence

A quick easy solution splitting the train in half

Sharing chores and diving attention not as simple as that though

A six year wait triggered a restlessness it seems

In quick succession the stork arrives

Three like her his heart craved to put him in a wringer

The twin terror with their incessant gibberish

Their last born enough to test their nerves

Caution seems to have been blown with the wind

A patient disciplinarian Amma cannot suppress her indulgent smile

Demanding their attention exasperated by their ingenuous mischief

Unrelenting in his unreasonable scathing taunts, Appa

Back to Paris...

Another couple days passed, II slept less and moped more, opened the French windows and leaned on the rail
Staring out, the apartment across was uninhabited now.

R&B whenever he found her grabbed her and brought her back in
The first time rather urgently...

"Kya hua?" she asked

"U can barely stand, why would u lean over the rail" he asked gruffly

"Nivi to nahi hai saath mein" she muttered

"But YOU?" he asked

She leaned weakly on his chest and exhaled

"Meri to aisi chinta kar rahe ho jaise mujhe chahte ho" she joked glumly

"Ha... I am being misleading arent I" he responded, his chuckle coming out as an exhale

"Nivi ko lekar kahin jaate hain" she said

"Where do u want to go?" he asked

"Just close by someplace" she said

He nodded

He had strict orders to Sam and Ranjan not to let her open the French doors when he was at work

Sam dealt with sis in law marital woes, Tan frustration and Nandu's teen antics

"Tujhe jo karna hai kar yaar" Tan hissed

"Main to uske liye keh rahi hoon, MM mein koi hai nahi ab, ghar par Mom must be hounding him... sunta nahi aapki" Sam whispered

"Uska peechha chhod, mujhe deal karne de" Tan yelled

"You know what he did right?"

"He didnt do pot or meth Sam" Tan was angry

"Piercing se shuru hota hai... u know Jaiswals" Sam explained

"Hamare circle mein har ghar mein ek pot smoker, sex addict, ek internet po*n watcher hai, ab to sab Nandu pe blame karegi?" Tan challenged

"I am not saying that Tan"

"I dont want to talk about this, he will do all the classes he did last year, tennis, cricket, volleyball and swimming" Tan said firmly

"Vandita was saying RK Puram temple has good classes for boys" she said

"What if he asks me, if I chant?" Tan challenged

"Tan kuch change hoyega na... South Indians are so religious" Sam said

"Umm.. agree... but waha bhi bache galti karte hain" he said coldly

"How is II?" he asked after heavy breathing

"Who knew yeh sab honey waala hai"

"Kidhar hai bhai tera?" Tan scolded

"At work"

"Oye shabaash" Tan cursed

"She sleeps al day or mopes" Sam explained

"To theek hai... ofcourse" he said cynically

"Not fair Tan"

"Bichari ne bacha khoya hai, us genius ko keh ghar rahega" he said

"Ummm" Sam dragged her feet

"Uske galtiyon ki wajah tum ho" Tan said

"He didnt cheat on his wife, he had a girlfriend thats older"

"Haan sahi hai, jo Dad ke saath kar raha hai?"

"Tan please yaar... u are getting on my nerves"

"Lasya se baat karwao" he said gruffly

"Dad lekar gaye hain neeche"

"call me later then" he ordered and hung up

II came into the kitchen to cook?

"Maine bana diya khaana aloo matar aur paneer stir fry" Sam said

"I told him yesterday we shud take the kids some place"

"YOU TWO shud go, I will watch the kids" Sam offered

Manya hadnt called HER
She called R&B and Sam

"I dont have any place in mind" II muttered

"You can send her back, Mrs Iyer and I are home only we can watch her" Appa said sadly

"She doesnt want to return yet" R&B said pacing his office
Loking down 50 floors to the street

"Is she eating and sleeping well?" Appa enquired

"I believe she is" R&B said

"Take care of her" "Please" Appa choked up

"I will Mr Iyer" R&B promised

"Vandu is also very heart broken" Appa said

"I understand Sir" he muttered

"Should she visit?" Appa offered

"Oh thank you... but she is OK" R&B said

"U dont want any help from us?" Appa asked glumly

"Umm.. no... not at this time" R&B said wresting control from Appa

Hanging up, leaving two unhappy men holding their phones

I am sure all of you know that Jayalalitha Amma is no more. her death is causing quite a stir in India. but I must say that TN administration has managed pretty well considering crowds in India have a have a way of getting out of control in such situations wreaking havoc. BTW wonder what Appa's take on Jayalalitha's passing would be?
