That's not done. ll didn't knew about accident and that bloody French oldie was taking care of him. usually he is not that dense but wen it comes to ll he does become one.

Ooohh sweet!!!! She plans to take the couch to watch hubby dear and not take the adjoining room to sleep! Lovey!!!!
Just one teeny weeny issue...nothing big at all... that dreaded orange scarf and sunglasses lying on the couch that's a sore sight to her eyes...ummm... who's going to do the honors of getting rid of them before she takes the couch???

I would have crushed that sunglasses into pieces and that would clean the floor with that scarf...

Poor II I can understand her situation ... Maybe Marliese came to know about dude's accident from her brother(Alex) and just visited to see him than what's wrong in that.

Shadow of M still loom s large. But me likes it, the more insecure II is the more we get to see the dynamics of their unusual union. M is always welcome to bring in some more Ms - Mirch an d Masala!

Why did M leave her scarf and sunglasses behind? Why did she not take them with her when she visited? Is it an excuse to come back? I feel sorry for the dude for being in physical pain, but have more sympathy for II for having a husband who lives so far away from home. Having had the privilege of peeking into their future I am not worried about M or other woman for that matter. The dude is so much in love with her and his children. However, I want the dude to have a taste of his own medicine ie be ridiculously jealous of II's male colleague.

Dream Plans

He got knocked out at 11 ish when the duty nurse came, he didn't eat much, the Doc said the surgery was non invasive, a dime size hole in the back and he was all done.

Nivi slept in the lounge area of the suite in a glass crib of sorts.

Before that...II sat in a corner Skyping Akka or chatting with Amma unable to sleep.

He READ... Nothing surprising there.

He groaned when he had to shift on the bed

He winced audibly she got up and walked over

He tried to reach for her wrist

"Hey" he called

"I have a name" she replied tartly

"Did u have a good flight?" he asked changing topic

"Theek tha... I might be banned from Lufthansa for a year or two thanks to Nivi" she mumbled

He smiled joyously

"Shes pretty cute" he said smugly

"Did u eat anything?" she asked softly

"Is that a truce?" he asked

"I don't want to fight... I never fight" she lied

"No" he agreed readily

"Ghar kab ja sakte ho?" she asked

"When I can get off this goddamn bed and go pee I guess?" he said looking at her

His hair was completely tousled she wanted to comb it with her finger tips.

"Did Manny return?" he asked

"Small talk?" she enquired

"What do u prefer? Talk about the orange elephant in the room?" he asked expressionlessly

Her face turned red... as she lowered her gaze

She pretended to stretch the blue blanket down... his back hand had the pin prick and the IV went thru it

"Dad is livid" she said quietly

"Huh" he grunted

"Tum yaha kaam kehkar aaye, aur ski karne chale gaye" she layered it thick

"Waha Sam wedding planner se akele ulajh rahi hai" she said sighing

"She wanted ME to talk to the planner?" "Pffft" he rolled his eyes

"Oh yes... she couldn't do that.. expect a start up investor to be a wedding planner, surely" "Pffft" she responded

They both breathed heavily, if he was well they would have lunged or escaped and wrestled

"I didn't come here to fight" she said finally relenting

He exhaled

"Come closer then" he challenged...

She didn't look at him, just heard his words and that fiery gaze from between the lashes

"U shud eat something" she said softly

"Can u get me a turkey sandwich?" he asked

"I can get you a veggie sandwich" she said

He leaned forward and grabbed her hand before she could withdraw it from the bed

"I am happy you came" he said

"Are you sure?" she said swallowing trying not to dart sideways at the scarf

"I think I told you I DID NOT INVITE HER" he said almost inaudibly but spacing every word out

"It just makes me very... Matlab" she mumbled

"Lets talk about something else"

"Manya se baat ki?" she asked

"Can I have another choice?" he tried to joke

They gazed at each other interminably

"I am not pissed II" he tried to reason with her about the whole Manya thing.

"Ghar kab bhejenge?" she said sighing quietly

That's when the doctor knocked on the door at 11 PM

They checked the vitals, he said it was "OK" for him to eat what he wants, just no alcohol he said

"Hes a teetotaler" II said blandly

Her husband grunted

"Then he is good man" the doc guffawed

"I am told" she smiled sweetly

"Is he in pain?" she asked the doctor

"what did your husband tell you?" the Doc teased

"She never asked me" R&B responded
