Chapter- 84

HALDI

Arnav stopped as his eyes fell on those fading scars, he caressed those spot trailing kisses and Khushi trembled like a leaf in his arms.

Khushi: Ar... Arnav ji.

Khushi moaned when suddenly Arnav picked her in his arms and layed her on bed, he kissed her in the crook of her neck to her now bare chest as her choli was now on floor.

Khushi: Arnav ji please stop, came a irritated plea, Arnav chuckled.

He continued moving down and squeezed her tummy, kissing around her belly button, moving down he stopped calling for all the self control he can muster and came on top of her, kissing her lips slowly.

Arnav: However much I want to continue I know you wouldn't be able to keep your hands un control for long and I don't want you to draw this Mehandi in my body. Khushi who was till now in haze of whatever he was doing to her body, open her eyes wide.

Arnav(laughing): Come on sleep now! Covering them with blanket, he caressed her head and Khushi soon drifted to sleep. Arnav continued to look at her as he remembered those scars. "Shyam will pay badly."

Next morning when Khushi's eyes opened, she found herself in piya's room and she was wearing her choli also. She frowned and picked up her cell to call him when Piya emerged from washroom.

Piya: You're already up?

Khushi: How did I came here?

Piya: ASR left you here in early morning before anyone can notice you in his room. Khushi nodded understanding.

Khushi: You slept locking the door?

Piya(chuckled): ASR asked me to that, remember when he asked me to come aside so he can talk.

Khushi: Laad Governer!

Piya: Btw there's something for you there on Sofa.

Khushi frowned and walked there to see two packets, there was a note attached to it.

Note: Wear it for Haldi.

Khushi(on phone): Arnav ji Are you downstairs already?

Arnav: No! I was held up in some urgent meeting, which I had to attend online.

Khushi: Ohh

Arnav: Are you ready?

Khushi: Yea! I was going to come downstairs, Piya is almost done then we'll come.

Arnav: Good! You should spend more time with piya then me till marriage.

Khushi(frowned): Why?

Arnav: She needs you, she's getting married tomorrow and also you're looking so sinfully hot these days that it gets difficult to keep my hands in check.

Khushi: Haw

Arnav: Though I don't mind if you want me to... Interrupted by Khushi.

Khushi: You're becoming really shameless! I should really stay with Piya.

Arnav: Ok now let me get ready, I'll meet you downstairs.

Khushi: Arnav ji! Lehanga is really beautiful. Thanks.

Arnav: Don't thank me, I am waiting to see you wearing it. Come downstairs soon.

Arnav looked around the arrangements, a partition was made there through a netted curtain. So Bride and groom can sit there separately.

Abhay calls him and he sits beside him. Khushi and Piya walked there with slow steps and Arnav and Abhay felt their breath leaving them.

Arnav wonders how can she look so exquisite in everything she wear , she can look gorgeous even the simplest clothes. May be it's her inner beauty and innocence which makes her different from all others. She was wearing a beautiful sleeveless white Lehanga with borders and netted dupatta with the simple jewelry he has left with Lehanga. Her dupatta was pinned on her one shoulder, he can see her every curve , her belly button was playing a peek-a-boo and he don't need to tell that it was all just to tease him. It was a revenge from her side "A sweet revenge" for yesterday night, he chuckled at her childishness.

As Khushi sat beside Piya on other side of curtain, their eyes met with each other Khushi blushed under his admiring gaze.

Soon ceremony started and Piya and Abhay was smeared with Haldi by their families and friends. Arnav looked at all the laughing and teasing between cousins and how Abhay's mom kept pampering him, smearing Haldi on him with happy tears and his own heart felt heavy. He would never be able to experience it, his mom has left him long ago and however badly he hates his father, it's also true the child in him always felt the need of his father, supporting him. He wipes the tears from the corner of his eyes before it can slip down and looked at other side to Khushi which only squeezed his heart more painfully because he can see same emotions mirrored in eyes of his Khushi as she looked at laughing Piya with her family.

Khushi was walking when she was pulled aside in a corner, she gasped in shock but relaxed finding Arnav. Khushi has walked away from ceremony with some excuse and Arnav has followed her.

Arnav(wiping her tears): You know I don't like to see them in your eyes. Khushi looked down as few more tears slipped from her eyes

Arnav pulled her with himself and entered inside his room and closed the door behind him.

Arnav made her sit on the edge of bed and sat beside her, hugging her from side.

Arnav: shhh... It's ok! He said rubbing her arm.

Khushi: I miss them!

Arnav: Me too! But see now we have each other, right? Khushi nodded and wiped her tears and Arnav gave her glass of water.

Arnav walked away before coming back with a tray and Khushi frowned looking at Haldi bowl in it.

Khushi: This?

Arnav: You have not even a spot of Haldi on you, so now I'll do it myself and before Khushi can say anything more her nose was flicked by him smearing Haldi on it.

Khushi: Arnav ji what's the need to do this?

Arnav: Because I want to see you how would you look smeared with Haldi, My soon to be blushing bride, Khushi smiled weekly but he can see happiness in her expressive eyes and he kissed her, making her forget all the pain.

He looked into her eyes as he smeared Haldi on her arms, rubbish till the back of her palms. Sliding her Lehanga up till her knees, he rubbed his palms from her knees to her feet, he signed Khushi not to cry who was unable to stop her tears, experiencing so much of Love.

Arnav dipped his palms inside the Haldi bowl before he smeared Haldi from them on her both cheeks, Khushi pulled him for a kiss moved by his Love. Arnav smiled and let him Kiss her as his hands move down to her shoulders to her back applying Haldi all the way.

KhushI pulled back from the kiss, her eyes still closed when she felt his hands applying Haldi on her forehead. She smiled and looked at him, pulling him close to her by holding his nape and sighed keeping her forehead on hers.

Khushi: Why do you Love me so much? Arnav only smiled in response before sliding her dupatta away and applying Haldi on her midriff and flat stomach.

Khushi: Enough you have completely smeared me with this Haldi, she pouted.

Arnav smiled before brushing his cheeks with Khushi's and Khushi breathed heavily closing her eyes.

Arnav: Now ok? Umm... Khushi smiled and Kissed him hungrily, her life has taken a very beautiful turn. Once she had thought that it was a curse to meet Arnav but now the same man is her Life, same man who make her feel loved.

Khushi(hugging him): Arnav ji can I ask you something?

Arnav: Yea!

Khushi: Can we stay here for some more days?

Arnav: Huh?

Khushi: I mean we have show organised after next three days then we have,to return back Delhi, but I want to stay here in farm house for some more days.

Arnav: I understand Khushi but I can't! I have something urgent to do.

Khushi(sighing sadly): Ok

Arnav: But we can always come here again, right? Khushi nodded.

Arnav opened the door hearing the knock on door by Piya and smiling Piya entered inside the room with teasing smile.

Both Khushi and Arnav looked away embarrassed.

Arnav scrolled the picture on his phone, it was their pictures smeared with Haldi, Piya has clicked them when she came there and he smiled satisfied looking at the blushing Khushi smiling in them.
