Chapter- 82

SANGEET

Many type of performances was performed for the couple by their friends and family where both couples were enjoying, actually girls and boys were busy in admiring them, Arnav was more careful to check Khushi doesn't feel uncomfortable.

After sometime Piya forced Khushi for a dance though first Khushi was reluctant but she joined other getting encouraging nod from Arnav. Arnav got call from Aman so he excused himself when he returned back Khushi was not there, he started looking for her when suddenly music changed and Arnav felt tap on his shoulder.

Uff mere dil mein thodi khaali si jagah thi

Tune aake bin kiraaye ye jagah li

Arnav turned back to see Khushi smiling at him mischievously.

Khushi:Kuch keh bhi na saki, ye kaisi bebasi

Yun chupke chupke aaya bin bulaya mehmaan

Uff mere dil mein thodi khaali si jagah thi

Humko na khabar kab kaise aaya wo

Dil se khus-phus kya farmaya wo oo oo..

Khushi wound her hands around his neck and Arnav held her from waist.

Arnav glared at her for making him worried but Khushi only smiled before taking few steps back and dancing with other girls signing towards him.

Arnav looked around suddenly feeling little shy as everyone was looking at them but Khushi could care less.

Arnav pulled her to his chest holding her wrist and smirked at her before singing.

Khushi danced around him smile adorning her lips. She twirled in his arms before hugging him from,back.

Abhay and Piya also joined them and both the couples danced together.

They continued to dance, teasing each other.

After that both couples danced on romantic number "Ishq Sufiyana"(one of my favourites ;-))

Leaving all guests to gush over them exclaiming how perfect they look together, one can easily see the love they had for each other.

"Your husband loves you alot"

Khushi turned to see a women in her mid-age smiling at her.

Khushi: Ji?

Women: I said your husband loves you alot, I saw how he is taking care of you.

Khushi smiled understanding she's talking about Arnav.

Khushi: He's not my husband.

Women: uh.. Oh.. I am sorry I thought .

Khushi: It's ok!

"Yea it's ok we are not husband- wife but will be" Arnav spoke coming behind from Khushi and Khushi looked at him with smile.

Arnav: She's my fiance.

Women: Ohh that's wonderful! Congratulations you really look perfect together.

Arnav: Thank you.

Khushi looked as that women left from there and then looked at Arnav.

Khushi: I am your fiance and I myself don't know. Wow

Arnav smiled on her mischievous comment and replied with same.

Arnav: Really so what should I do to make my princess remember that.

Khushi: How could I tell? You should know yourself. Saying this she left from there to join piya where Arnav smiled seeing his naughty and smiling Khushi returning back.

After sometime lights went off and a light fell on stage showing a man on stage but his face hiding in dark. He takes few steps forward and Khushi looked at stage confused seeing Arnav standing there with a mike.

Arnav: Tonight I am here to confess something, I Arnav Singh Raizada " A cold, ruthless and heartless man" as you all think. In fact I used to believe same but then one night this ruthless men met an Angel. An Angel, so pure, so innocent for this selfish world (he looked at Khushi all the while).

Arnav: But according to the thinking of my own I tried my best to push that Angel away from me, tried to hate her but the feisty kitten she is, she always came back to fight. In those silly fights, those stupid pranks I slowly started falling for her but never accepted that, he laughed.

Arnav: "My Di used to tell me that when I'll fall in Love, it would be difficult for me to breathe without her" that time I never believed but everything changed when I felt that I'll lose my Angel whom I was trying to hate and I realized what she means for me. I felt I'll die if anything happened to her, I realized that I have finally fallen in love". Khushi gulped as few tears slide down from her eyes.

Arnav: I have realised this now that "Love can reduce anyone, do anything" so here I am saying it again I Love You Khushi! I Love You and this is for you and lights went off again before whole stage light up and music started.

Saanson ko jeene ka ishaara mil gaya

Dooba main tujh mein to kinaara mil gaya

Arnav walked down from the stage towards Khushi repeating the lyrics.

Arnav held her hand wiping the tears from her eyes and took her to stage with himself and they danced together.

Aaraam de tu mujhe, barson ka hoon main thaka

Palkon pe raatein liye, tere waaste main jaga

{Give me rest, I'm tired for years

Holding nights on my eyelids, I kept awake for you..}

Arnav hugged her from behind and his palm grazed her right hand till it laced with her fingers and suddenly he twirled her.

Mere har dard ki gehrai ko mehsoos karta hai tu

Teri aankhon se gham tera mujhe

maaloom hone laga

{You feel the depth of every pain of my heart

And I can see your pain through your eyes..}

Arnav tucked the fringes of her falling hairs behind her hairs and they both looked into each other eyes and dancing slowly.

Khushi kept her head on his shoulder and Arnav held her securely from her waist as they moved their feets with music.

Main raaz tujh se kahoon humraaz ban ja zara

Karni hai kuch gufatgoo alfaaz ban ja zara

Juda jab se hua, tere bina khamosh rehta hoon main

(He sang thinking how she has become after that incident.)

Labon ke paas aa, ab tu aawaaz ban ja zara

And abruptly he was on his knees holding a beautiful ring on his hand for Khushi.

Khushi looked stunned where all guests looked at them in aww. Piya clutched Abhay's hand in happiness.

{Since we parted, I remain silent without you there..

Khushi felt more tears pricked her eyes as she forwarded her left hand to Laad Governer and Arnav slides his ring in her finger before kissing her fingers.

Arnav got up and Khushi instantly engulfed him in bone crushing hug to which Arnav reciprocated.
