Naina smirks and says,
"Well that's quite obvious, yahi do (2) options ho sakte the, our teesra option tha bhi kya?"
Looking towards Brigadier Chandok, Naina teases Captain Rajveer, trying to lighten his mood,
"Sir, I think Captain Rajveer ko apse classes leni hongi firse!"
Smiling a little, Captain Rajveer turns to look at her, still smiling, he dares her,
"Agar aap itni confident hain ki mujhey classes ki zarurat hain, to Sir ko khamakha disturb karne ki kya zarurat hai, aap khud hi kyun nahi de deti mujhey classes? Itne dino se aap iss academy mein hain, and you are a bright student, I am sure apne aisa bohot kuch seekh lia hoga jo main KMA mein student rehte hue nahi seekh paya!"
(Rajveer-Naina fast tune begins)
That comes as a surprise for Naina. Staring ahead of her, she widens her eyes. Fully aware of Brigadier Chandok's presence in front of them, she chooses to remain quiet. Her state makes Rajveer to smile secretly.
Laughing, Brigadier Chandok asks Captain Rajveer to continue with his story.
"In short main samjh chuka tha ki chahe kuch bhi ho jaye main yahan se nahi nikal paunga. Maine faisla kiya ki main jahan bhi rahun, main wahan se bhaag jaunga!",
he tells them, without any hesitation. But his eyes turn teary, as the feeling of helplessness that he felt during that time when he made this decision came rushing back to him. A knot forms inside Naina's throat as she could feel his state perfectly. Brigadier Chandok lowers his eyes too, ashamed, that he couldn't do anything for him. Looking back towards Captain Rajveer, Brigadier Chandok apologizes,
"I am sorry Captain. KMA ka principal hone ke bawajud main tumhare liye kuch nahi kar paya"
says Brigadier Chandok feeling ashamed of himself.
It hurts Captain Rajveer to see Brigadier Chandok in that state. Cadet Naina turns serious too. Placing his hand on Brigadier Chandok's hand, he assures him,
"Sir please... please aap aise mat kahiye. Main janta hun Sir, agar apko sub kuch pata hota to aap mujhey kuch nahi hone dete. Sir, apne jo kuch bhi kiya bilkul sahi kiya. Aapne apni duty nibhai. Iss mein kuch galat nahi hai".
"Mujhey aaj bhi wo pal yaad hai Captain, jab maine apne inhi haathon se tumhare ranks, tumhare medals tumse cheen liye the",
confesses Brigadier Chandok, feeling ashamed of himself for doing so.
"Aaj ehsaas ho raha hai, kitna galat tha main!",
confesses Brigadier Chandok, bowing his head, out of shame and regret.
"Sir please, koi galat nahi tha - na aap, na court ka faisla aur na main. Agar kuch galat tha, to wo the halat! Kuch galat tha to wo ye ki maine kayi logon se kayi baatein chupayi!"
says Captain Rajveer, lowering his eyes out of guilt and regret. He looks at Naina through his peripheral vision. Naina's heart skips a beat, as she could read his expressions clearly. She could understand what is he referring to by the line
'maine kayi logon se kayi baatein chupayi!'
clearly. But it is Brigadier Chandok, who is unable to understand his double-meaning words and asks,
"Kya matlab?"
Taking a deep breath, he shifts back his attention towards Brigadier Chandok.
"Matlab ye Sir ki mujhey apse 'red box' ke barey mein, Major Shakti Chandra ke barey mein, I mean jo kuch bhi baatein humare beech hui, jo bhi situation tha, wo sub kuch bata dena chahiye tha, trial ke dauran. Par uss waqt mera subse bharosa uth gaya tha. Mujhey samajh aa chuka tha ki meri madad ab koi nahi kar sakta!"
Suddenly, Captain Rajveer feels exhausted and asks permission from Brigadier Chandok,
"Sir, if you don't mind, to kya hum ye baad mein discuss kar sakte hain?"
His expressions tell Brigadier Chandok and Cadet Naina that he is tired and needs rest now.
"Oh sure Rajveer, tum ja kar ab rest kar lo",
smiles Brigadier Chandok, feeling concerned.
"Thank you Sir!"
"And Rajveer, ek baar Dr. Shalini se mil lena. I would suggest you to have proper medication. I want Captain Rajveer all fit and fine, back into KMA!",
smiles Brigadier Chandok. Naina smiles too.
Lowering his eyes, Captain Rajveer gives little smile.
"Don't worry Sir. I shall take care of him",
assures Naina, smiling.
(Rajveer-Naina fast tune begins)
"Agar aap hain inke saath Cadet Singh, to I am sure Captain Rajveer would be perfectly fine soon",
smiles Brigadier Chandok.
Captain Rajveer and Cadet Naina, reciprocates the gesture.
"May we leave now Sir?",
Cadet Singh asks for permission, on behalf of both of them.
"Sure Cadet!",
permits Brigadier Chandok, smiling.
Captain Rajveer and Cadet Naina leave.

"Kanchanjunga Military Academy ka main rule hai discipline! Kya mujhey ye baat apko yaad dilani hogi Cadet?"
asks Major Nayyer to a cadet, standing at the corridor. Bowing his head, out of shame, the cadet apologizes,
"I am sorry Sir, wo actually ye Karan mujhse pange le raha tha, to maine dhyan nahi diya ke aap aa rahe hain, aur isliye ye takkar..."
"Cadet!",
scolds Major Nayyer, then continues,
"Aap yahan soldiers banne aye hain, ya aise yahan apne classmates ke saath masti karne?"
"I don't understand kya soch kar apne KMA mein admission liya hai? Mujhey to abhi se apne desh ki chinta ho rahi hai, ye soch kar ki hum apne desh ko aap jaise soldiers ke hawale karne wale hain! Do you have any idea, what it takes to become a soldier?"
asks Major Nayyer.
"Aaj ke bachon ko kuch samjhana...",
Major Nayyer shakes his head to a negative, staring the accused cadets seriously.
"Cadets, jab tak aap KMA mein hain, aap KMA ki responsibility hain. Aur KMA ke rules and regulations follow karna apki duty hai. Understood?",
scolds Major Nayyer.

Sitting near the window of the mess, Suriji sings a song all alone, for no one in particular. But being loud by nature, his voice scatters in the whole mess, it's just that there is no one to listen to his singing, except the orderlies working in the mess, who are by now habitual to hearing his singing.
"Mere sapno ki rani kab ayegi tu, ayi rut mastani kab ayegi tu. Beetijaye zindagani kab ayegi tu? Chali aa tu chali aa"
"Aa gayi!",
teases an orderly. That skips Suriji's heartbeat, who takes his words seriously and imagines in no time, that Lolita Ma'am is there in the mess.
He turns with his heart full of expectations, his eyes eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of her. His blushed face reflects his feelings for her! As soon as he turns and finds that there is no one there, his face falls. His cheeks which recently turned red out of blush, turns to a darker shade of red out of anger for the orderly. The orderly laughs at Suriji's innocence, thinking how cute Suriji is!
"Thehrja khotya main tainu nahi chadanga!",
says Suriji, pointing his index finger towards the orderly and gets down with a motive to catch him.
The orderly, fully aware of what's coming up next prepares himself for a chase. He runs away, out of the mess, before Suriji could catch him. As Suriji runs after him, unconsciously he collides with Lolita Ma'am who was entering the mess at the same time when he was exiting it.
The collide results into a fall, in such a manner that Lolita Ma'am falls on Suriji. This unexpected situation makes both of them to blush. Where on one hand Suriji shows his blush by lowering his eyes; there on the other hand Lolita Ma'am's scold makes it clear how shy and blushed she is feeling.
"Suriji! Ye... ye aap kya bachon ki tarah bhaag rahe the? Aap... aap hatiye yahan se. I said leave me!"
Lolita Ma'am looks into Suriji's eyes as she utters the last words.
Suriji who was in daze for all this time, staring at Lolita Ma'am's beautiful eyes, wakes up from his daze, blushing, he says,
"Lolita ji aisa hai, I beg your pardon, par pakda apne hua hai mujhey, maine apko nahi".
"Come again Suriji?",
says Lolita Ma'am creasing her brows. Suriji points towards her hands which are holding him tightly. Feeling utterly shy and embarrassed at her own stupidity, Lolita Ma'am avoids looking at Suriji at first. Then at last staring him, looking into his eyes, she blushes, which makes Suriji to blush even more, and she gets up quickly.
Getting back her composure, Lolita Ma'am crosses her arms and clears her voice and asks,
"Suriji, ye kaisa bachpana tha? Aap iss tarah se mess mein bhaag kyun rahe the? I mean iss age mein?"
scolds Lolita Ma'am, getting even more irritated as she utters the last words.
"Lolita ji, aisa hai bachpana karne ki na, koi umar nahi hoti. Kabhi-kabar na, badon ko bhi aise hi bachpana kar lena chahiye",
says Suriji, smiling.
"Suriji aap...",
Lolita Ma'am begins to say something, but Suriji interrupts her,
"Oh na ji na! Aisa hai main iss baat par apki ek nahi sunne wala".
Suriji notices how unlike other days, today Lolita Ma'am is listening to him without arguments.
Making full use of the opportunity, Suriji, mustering all his courage, utters the words,
"Bohot ho gaya, aap mere saath Durga Puja ki shopping karne chal rahi hain aaj bus".
Uttering those words in an authoritative voice, Suriji holds his breath, waiting to know her reaction.
Getting a bit emotional on hearing Durga Puja, she couldn't deny him. Smiling, she says,
"Theek hai Suriji, main chalungi Durga Puja ki shopping ke liye".
Getting the desired answer from her, fills Suriji's heart with joy and out of excitement, he says,
"Oh balle! balle!"
The orderlies present in the mess clap their hands, as they hear that Lolita Ma'am has agreed to fulfil Suriji's desire to go out for shopping with her. Blushing, Lolita Ma'am leaves the mess. The applaud makes Suriji to blush too.
"Chalo ho gaya, cheti-cheti kaam karo sub ab!",
says Suriji, in order to hide his blush and shyness.
