Chapter 3
A/N : I was planning to post the first half but then realized you guys would not get what is happening. 🤣

"Just stop Shravan!" Pushkar shouted at him.

"Why? Why should I? She should know what she is doing. She is destroying her damn life." He was drunk and threw his beer glass on the wooden floor as it made a breaking sound with the liquor brimming with the reflection of party lights.

"You are no one to say anything about my life. Okay?" She pointed a finger at him as felt embarrassed.

"You are a pathetic little person who just wants to get attention and sympathy." He hated, hated when people tell his plans failed. He wanted to do good but got a bitchy slap back.

"I did not ask for any of this party. It was your idea okay? So it is my will, to accept it or reject. I do not live on your basis Shravan." She spoke as a matter of fact as tears left her eyes. Maybe, maybe he was right and that feared her insides but she wouldn't accept it, not infront of so many people. And why should she? There is a promise she made and looked at the ring in her finger that reflected her teary face.

"Yeah right. You feel that Aditya loves you? Its been two and a half freaking years Suman. Who you are fooling, me or yourself ? Here everyone cares for you okay? So please just cut it all. He does not -"He was tired, tired of doing things which don't have any result, selflessly. He once wanted to be selfish, but couldn't. After all like her, he have a promise to keep as well.

"Just stop! Just stop Shravan." She asked like a plea, a plea which showed how broken she was, a plea of defeat. She was tired of explaining things always, when she herself don't have any answer.

She sat on the floor getting tired and sobbing hard, tears of frustration released as everyone retired from the party venue.

"Shravan you here?" She asked him with utmost surprise as got out of his hold.

"Hmm-, didn't expect?" He asked as they sat on chairs along the bar counter as he tapped his fingers on the counter while she sipped her caffeinated drink.

"Off course. But how can you just do like that?" She asked him narrow eyed to which he gave a mischievous look.

"Like what?" His smirk grew bigger seeing the bright pink tinge on her cheeks.

"Shravan-" Suman threatened him to which he raised his hands in surrender.

"Okay. Okay! I got a dare to do this to the first girl I see standing alone."

"This explains your doing. But believe it is me, if there would'd been someone else, the person would've slapped you." She wondered what were they, surely they are not friends, acquaintance - maybe, yes. After all Shravan Malhotra is the one who was second with her after Pushkar. Pushkar's family didn't approve of him coming with her, but it was him who was with Pushkar in his decision. Maybe it was because Pushkar he was here but still, she owes him too much.

"Yeah-Yeah. Whatever." He scoffed off as his ordered drink came.
