PART 9 A

Anika closed her eyes calmly as if his touch & his kiss had soothed her pain & emotional trauma which she was feeling. Yog smiled seeing her relaxed he covered her with comforter & lay back on the bed thinking that at least now Anika has started sharing her pain her fears & her insecurities with him.

It was important for their relationship & he was contended that at least things are working out properly & surely after some time Anika will settle down properly.

Next Morning Anika woke up & she was feeling light & normal, Yog too got out his nap & wished her saying "Good Morning"

Anika responded with a smile & wished him back "Good Morning ... aap ready ho jaaiye main breakfast lagati hoon"

Yog nodded & said "Papa ki call aayi thi Anika wo chahte hai ki kuch din ke liye hum waha chale ...Shadi ke turant baad Papa aur kaka ko ek zaroori summit ke liye bahar jaana pada kal hi laute hai ... isliye chahte hai thoda samay hum unke saath rahe"

Anika smiled & said "Theek hai ab to Papa bhi ghar aa gaye hai main chutti ke liye keh deti hoon aap bhi keh deejiye ho sake to isi weekend hum jaayenge" Yog nodded & went to have a shower after a while both dispersed to their workplaces.

Little later in her office Anika received a call from DGP Police for meeting. She reaches the office & meets him & seeing his irritated face asked "Sir kya baat hai?"

DGP said "mujhe abhi call aaya tha MLA saab ka khete hai ki us Moti ko chood do"

Anika said irritated "us gunde chood doon! taaki kal ko pagal kutto ki tarah jisko chahe usko nuksaan pauchaaye abhi to college ki ladkiyo pe haath daala hai kal khule aam kisi se saath kuch bhi karega ... hum aise kaise chood de use"

DGP said irritated "problem to yahi hai ... yaha tumne use arrest kiya waha saare politicians khade ho jaate hai baat na maano to band karne aur danga karaane pe uttaru ho jaate hai ... media officials sab inke payroll pe hai we can't do anything kaha kaha jawaab deenge hum"

Anika sighed & said "Sir is baar inhe jo karna hai karne deejiye maine kal hi magistrate se orders release karwaa liye hai ab se next peeshi tak Moti humari hirasat main hi rahega aur ek police officer hone ke naate jo zaroori hai main wohi karungi"

DGP said "Good! tumne sahi kiya ki uske orders leke lekin unke loog band ya danga karaane ki koshish kar sakte hai be alert"

Anika nodded & said "I will sir ... main chalti hoon mujhe patrolling ke liye jaana hai"

She took leave from DGP & started her work. Anika started taking rounds of the city to avoid any kind of nonsense. After an hour she spotted few goons on the road torturing the vegetable & fruit sellers in the market to close the shops as it was band declared by the party.

Anika said stopping them "Ye kya ho raha yaha pe?"

An old fruit seller said complaining "Madam ye gunde humari dukaane zabardasti band kara rahe hai"

Anika turning to them said in a stern voice "Ye loog kya keh rahe hai?"

One of the goons said "aaj band hai isliye band kara rahe the"

Anika in a stern voice said "Band! Kis liye hai tumhara ye band? Aur kaun kehta hai ki in gareeb jo mushkil se fal aur sabzi bech ke paise kamate hai unhe pareshaan karo is band ki vajah se"

Goon replied "hamare neta ji ke karyakarta ko giraftaar kiya gaya hai aur police ki vajah se hi ye band kiya gaya hai"

Anika said "accha! to aapko main batati hoon us karyakarta ne ILA Women's college ki saari padne waali ladkiyoo ko pareshaan kar ke rakha hai ...

use maine giraftaar kiya hai waha ki ladkiyoo ki complain pe aur saath hi usne Police ke kaam me dakhal dene ki koshish ki hai us Police pe haath uthane ki galti bhi ki hai ab aap loog yadi ye sab turant rook ke shanty se wapis nahi gaye to majburan mujhe aap logo ko bhi giraftaar karna padega"

Goons hearing this got out of control & within few seconds they all cumulated & started throwing stones on the Police vans & normal people coming to market. Anika in no time informed control room & started to give them her piece of mind with her cane.

She started to drive them out of the market & handled them with all her might. After few minutes situation was controlled by the police force of control room. She came back & saw the few shops were ruined by those goons.

She went to them & said "Ab jo tumhari vajah se in gareebo ka nuksaan hua hai uske paise do"

Goons were already terrified by Anika so they in no time gave them the money. There were few casualties too with the stones but the old fruit seller & 2 kids were injured badly. Anika in hurry put them in her jeep & took them to Yog's hospital as it was nearest.

Anika enters the hospital asking for Yog & as soon as Nurse informs Yog he comes there next minute. Anika sighs in relief seeing him & said pointing to injured people in her jeep "aap please inko dekhiye wo patharbaazi main inko chot lag gayi hai"

Yog nods & checks ... those children are fine but old man was a bit critical. He asked Jannat to look after the kids & along with Jaanawaaz started to treat old man. After looking at Yog Anika too got tense & after an hour when old man was out of danger both sighed in relief.

They came out & said to Anika "Nothing to worry ... sab theek hai jaldi theek ho jaayenge"

Anika smiled at him & he noticed her arm was bleeding. He voiced "tumhe bhi dressing ki zaroorat hai aao main kar deta hoon" suddenly an emergency case arrived & Yog asked Jannat to do the dressing.

Jannat made her sit & started dressing her wound & asked "ye chot kaise lagi bhabhi jaan?"

Anika said with a smile "kuch nahi patharbaazi rookne main thodi si lag gayi aur ye to mere kaam ka hissa hai"

Jannat smiled & asked "hum aapse ek baat pooche ... aap bura to nahi maanegi?"

Anika nodded in negative & Jannat asked with a hitched voice "aap Yog Bhai jaan se ab bhi khafa hai?"

Anika first was bit stunned then replied "kyu Yog ne aapse meri shikayat ki hai?"

Jannat with a smile said "Nahi! bas unki behen hone ke haqq se aapse pooch rahi hoon"

Anika said "haan main naraaz hoon! par khud se Jannat ... aur isliye ki Papa ne aur Yog ne meri bewkoofi ki vajah se bahut saha hai pata nahi maine kya kya keh diya Yog ko gusse main ... par unhone kabhi uska bura nahi maana ... mujhe sambhala support kiya Papa ka khayal rakha ...

ab to Yog ki aankho main dekhne se bhi darr sa lagta hai mujhe ... yadi kisi mod pe unhone ne apne pyar ka hisaab maanga to main chukka nahi paaungi" her eyes became moist saying this.

Jannat said consoling"Bhabhi jaan! wo aapse pyar karte hai koi tijariti sauda nahi hai ye jo aapko hisaab chukana pade ... aur yadi aapko aisa lagta hai to unke pyar ka jawaab apne pyar se deejiye unke liye kaafi hoga aur aap kyu purani baato ko leke baithi hai sab bhool kar Yog bhai jaan ke saath nayi zindigi khushi se shuru keejiye"

Anika smiled & said "Main koshish kar rahi hoon Jannat"

Suddenly they heard an old looking for someone Anika & Jannat came out she was wife of that old fruit seller & was searching for her husband. Anika informed the old lady that her husband is fine and is in general ward resting as he was hurt.

By the time Yog too came out of emergency as patient was stable. Anika & Yog took that lady to her husband.

She got relived & said joining hands to both "beta tum dono ne mera ghar bikharne se bacha liya ...bhagwaan tum dono ko hamesha khush rakhe"

Anika said stopping her "Are kya kar rahi aap Mausi! Humne jo kiya wo humara kaam tha"

Yog said "aur ab wo theek hai aap unhe thodi deer main leja sakti hai ...waise ye unhe sahi waqt pe yaha laayi warna pareshani zayada ho sakti thi"

Old lady said to Anika giving her an iron bracelet "Mujh gareeb ke paas dua ke siva kuch nahi ye main shiv shakti mandir se laayi hoon" she makes her wear the bracelet & says blessing her seeing fade tint of heena on hands"jeeti raho aur sada suhagan raho"

Yog with a smile voiced "Anika dekho! Tumhare kaam ki vajah se mujhe bhi dua mil gayi"

Old lady realized that they are husband & wife & says "bhagwaan tumhari Jodi banaye rakhe aur saari khushiya de" with that she went out of the room towards her husband.

Anika smiled lightly & says taking leave "Yog main nikalti hoon kuch zroori kaam hai"

Yog asked "tumhari dressing ho gayi na?"

Anika said "Haan ho gayi ... & thanks a lot aapki koshish se wo bach gaye" & walks out of the hospital.

PART 9 B

Anika smiled looking at her iron bracelet & moved back to her office. After a while she gave a call to DGP informing about what happened in the market & DGP clearly instructed her to interrogate these goons & find out about this mess & also finish off this matter as soon as possible as it will not take much time to make mole of a mountain as MLA was himself involved in this.

Anika interrogated them and after some good blows from her they blurt out their plan of violence in entire city along with major locations. Anika in no time informed control room & also arrested some of them with vital proofs red handed & due to this everything settled down peacefully.

After a bit of investigation she also found a vital proof against MLA too. She reported back to DGP along with the proof & and the entire report saying "Sir maine apna kaam kar diya hai yadi aap permission dein to abhi unhe custody main le loon"

DGP said irritated "uska kya fayda hai kal fir bahar hoonge ... hume to security guards ki tarah treat karte hai"

Anika smiled & said "haan jaanti hoon sir ... bas ek mauke ka intizaar hai inhe kheech ke usi janta ke beech le jaaungi jinki power ka ye loog galat istemaal karte hai"

DGP smiled & said "I know par humari irony yahi hai ki humare department ke loog bhi unhi ka saath dete hai ... well wo sab chodo tumne chutti ke liye kaha tha 15 din ki maine approve kar di hai koi major problem?"

Anika said with a smile "not at all sir actually thoda personal kaam hai papa ki tabiyat theek nahi thi isliye kisi cheez ka time nahi nahi mil paaya"

DGP said "aur tumhare husband theek hai? ... mujhe pata chala ki koi attack hua tha?"

Anika said "nothing to worry sir main pata lagane ki koshish kar rahi hoon ... that person will be nabbed soon"

DGP said "Oh come on & take care"

Anika nodded with a smile & then took leave back to her office. After a while returning to office Anika was winding her work when an old constable came inside after a knock holding a sweet box.

Anika said "Are Rao ji kya baat hai?"

Constable said with a choked voice "Madam kal meri beti ki shadi hai ... meri shayad haisiyat nahi ki main aap jaise bade logo bualu par aapne hi mera loan paas karwaaya tha bade saab se keh ke aur yadi ye shadi ho rahi hai to aapki vajah se warna shayad main apni beti ko samman se vida bhi nahi kar paata"

Anika said "Rao ji aap aisa kyu keh rahe hai ... ek pita ke liye beti ki shadi kya mayne rakhti hai ye shayad ab main samajhti hoon ... aapki beti ki shadi main hum dono zaroor aayenge"

Rao said with teary eyes "Madam aap dono aayenge to hume bahut khushi hogi ... leejiye mooh meetha kariye"

Anika smiles & takes a piece & congratulate him again. Thanking her he goes out to do his work. After a while Anika returns home & engross herself in dinner preparations & little later Yog too returns back home.

Anika after a while after freshen up Yog settles down and Anika too arranged tea for him. Anika says with a hitch "Yog aap kal shyam ko thoda jaldi aa sakte hai kya?"

Yog said "Haan aa jaaunga kal waise bhi zyada kaam nahi hai ... koi khaas baat hai?"

Anika said nodding in negative "Nahi! koi khaas baat nahi hai bas wo constable Rao ji hai na unki beti ki shadi hai ... actually IG sir se request kar ke maine uska loan sanction karwaaya tha aaj unhone jis tarah mujhe aur aapko invite kiya mera mann nahi kiya ki mana karu ...

I know aapke liye thoda ajeeb hoga aise aana or yadi aap nahi aana chahte to bhi koi baat nahi main dekh loongi"

Yog said with a smile "hum zaroor jaayenge Anika"

Anika smiles at him & voices "Thank you ... mujhe laga tha shayad aapko theek nahi lagega"

Yog asked "Kyu! isliye ki main bahut bade ghar se hoon ... Par hum bhi zameen pe hi chalte hai na"

Anika smiles & says "Haan! par aisi sooch bahut kam logo ki hoti hai ... accha ye batayiye hum ghar kab chal rahe hai? ... meri chutti to approve ho chuki hai ... aapne baat kari?"

Yog replied "Haan maine bol diya hai I think hum Sunday ko nikalte hai shayam tak to paunch hi jaayenge"

Anika nodded & said "theek hai main packing kar loongi ... aap bata deejiyega kya kya lejaayenge"

Yog nodded & after that Anika started cooking dinner & little later they had dinner with usual chit chat. Yog today noticed something different that Anika had came over the guilt feeling & all the negative thoughts about this marriage even her eyes had happiness & hope not the guilt & pain which she had all these days & he was happy when she addressed his house as "Ghar".

Yog was thinking all this when Anika barged into the room completing her kitchen work. She placed the Hot Chocolate Mug on the system for Yog & after that took seat near dressing table combing her hairs neatly in a ponytail to sleep when she saw Yog looking at her fondly.

She choose to ignore this as she knew something is playing in his mind, she engrossed herself in arranging bed she opened the wardrobe & took out the comforters to arrange the bed properly when she again saw him gazing her.

Anika could not hold for long & said arranging the comforter "Yog kya baat hai ...aap is tarah kyu dekh rahe hai ... main wahi Anika hoon jise aap rooz dekhte hai"

Yog got up from his system & said standing close to her & looking straight into her eyes "nahi! aaj tum kuch alag lag rahi hoo"

Anika first look into his eyes as if figuring out what he meant by this she broke the eye lock looking away as cannot bear his penetrating gaze anymore. She voiced softly "aisa kuch nahi hai Yog shayad aapko koi vehem ho gaya hai"

She tried to move away but was pulled by Yog again strongly this surprised her more she lowered her gaze looking away again. Yog held her chin up & made her look into his eyes voicing gently "aaj tak in aankho main maine apne liye gussa dekha hai, naarazgi dekhi hai, shayad guilt bhi dekha hai ...

par pehli baar in aankho main maine sacchi khushi dekhi hai ...sukoon dekha hai ... bas ye dekhna chahta tha ki is khushi aur sukoon ki vajah kya main hoon ... ho sakta hai mujhe wo dikh jaaye jo shayad tum zubaan se aaj tak nahi keh paayi"

Anika with a shy face looked away voicing "Kuch baate sahi waqt aane pe hi kahi jaati hai Yog ... aapka Hot chocolate thanda ho jaayega pee leejiye" with that she rushed to kitchen to calm herself.

Anika calmed her thudding heart & thinking "Yog itna pyar karte hai mujhse ek baar meri aankhon main dekh kar mera mann pad lete hai aur sach bhi to hai ye khushi ye sukoon unhi ki vajah se hai ...

par unhe ye kaise samjhau ki mujhe khud ko sametne ke liye waqt chahiye ... ye kaise batau unhe ki jo pyar wo jatate hai kabhi kabhi sapne jaisa lagta hai darr lagta hai ki aankhe khulte hi sapna toot na jaaye"

Takes a deep sigh & thinks again calming herself "please Yog !mujhe is ehsaas pe yakeen to kar lene deejiye ki koi mujhse itna pyar karta hai fir main khud aapse kahungi jo aap mujhse sunna chahte hai" after few deep breaths she had composed herself & went to the room & lay down at her place closing her eyes.

Yog who was working on the his system looked at her state & his lips curved into a smile thinking "Lagta hai pyar ka asar ho raha hai dheere dheere ... main jaanta hoon Anika tumhe khud ko sambhalne ke liye waqt chahiye ... aur ye bhi jaanta hoon ki tum bhi mujhse bahut pyar karti ho par pata nahi kyu keh nahi paa rahi hoo ...

par main bhi us waqt ka intizaar karunga jab tum khud mujhse kahogi ki tum mujhse bahut pyar karti hoo aur wo din bahut jaldi aayega mujhe yakeen hai"

He got up from his seat & covered her properly with comforter & lay down back putting his specs aside with a smile & closed his eyes & went to sleep.

Here as soon Anika realized that Yog has slept she turned her side & looked at his calm composed face with a contended smile she too smiled at him. She lay back closing her eyes to sleep but she couldn't sleep today, she was only thinking of the feeling what she felt every time when Yog is close to her.

At times she felt like she was a brittle glass doll who would just melt or get shattered at his mere touch she smacked herself for her madness & closed her eyes making an unsuccessful attempt to sleep. After a long tossing on the bed she finally slept calmly.
