Anika slept after long tossing on the bed thinking all these things. Next morning when Anika was getting ready after having a shower she heard a knock at the door she opened the door & saw Yog standing at the door.
She with a light smile opened the door & wished him voicing "Good morning ... aapki surgery kaisi rahi?"
Yog said getting inside the house "Good ... ab to patient kafi stable hai par tum kyu tension main lag rahi hoo kya ho gaya?"
Anika said "sab batati hoon aap fresh ho jaayiye fir baat karte hai"
Yog got ready after taking a shower and Anika arranged the breakfast & tea. Both settle down & Yog started to have his breakfast & asked "kya baat hai Anika kya batana chahti thi?"
Anika replied with a sigh "Main jo aapse kehne jaa rahi hoon use please aap lightly mat leejiyega this is something very serious"
Yog said paying attention "Haan batao"
Anika started with a sigh "Mujhe pakki khabar mili hai Yog ki jo aadmi hamare yaha ghusa tha wo ek international level ke smuggling gang ka hissa tha use humpe nazar rakhne ke liye bheja gaya tha ...humari shadi se pehle hi aapke naam ki supari di gayi thi 4 carore ki jisme se 2 carore unhe mil chuke hai aur usme se 50 hazaar us Ganpat ko diye gaye the ...

Yog with clam smile "Anika! tum itni choti si baat pe itna kyu pareshaan hoo ... aur tum kya smajhti hoo main ye sab lightly le raha hoon?"
Anika asked perplexed "Main samjhi nahi aap kya kehna chahte hai?"
Yog said with a smile "dekho Anika! jo loog insab main involved hai kya unhe ye pata nahi chalega ki humne security rakhi hai ... aur isse wo loog aur alert ho jaayege ...
Papa ko involve karne se baat aur bad jaayegi jo main nahi chahta aaj shayad 4 dushman ho humare par isse 40 ho jaayenge aur sirf main hi nahi us gang ke peeche pad ke tum bhi unki nazar main aa chuki hoo ek galti bhi bahut bhaari pad sakti hai is waqt hume isliye aise koi bewkoofi mat karna ...

Anika said nodding in negative "Nahi mujhe pehle aapko alert karna tha ... Sirf main aur mera informer jaante hai ye baat"
Yog with a smile voiced "good! aur kisi ko pata bhi nahi chalna chahiye ... tum breakfast khatam karo aur shanti se office jaao main aaj chutti loonga"
Anika was actually bit stunned with his logics & his calm behavior, she looked back at him with surprise & Yog too noticed that & voiced "Kya baat hai ab aise kyu dekh rahi hoo?"
Anika said looking away "kuch nahi bas aapko samajhne ki koshish kar rahi hoon... mujhe lagta tha ki aap ye sab lightly le rahe hai"
Yog pulled Anika bit closer with a smile & said "ab main utna bhi bhola nahi hoon jitna loog mujhe samajhte hai ... thodi bahut to smajh hai mujhme ... dheere dheere sab pata chal jaayega"
Anika smiled & started to get ready for the office and after a while bid bye to Yog with a contended mind as finally Yog understood the graveness of the matter and was vigilant enough to deal things.
Anika reached her office and started her day with daily activities of office after a while peon informed her that MLA of this area wanted to meet her regarding some urgent issue. She let them in & voiced with full respect "Ji kahiye main kya kar sakti hoon?"
MLA with sweet cunning voice "ACP sahiba wo kya hai na ki humare kuch party workers ko aapne arrest kar liya hai maine bail ke liye bola tha par wo loog mana kar rahe hai keh rahe hai ki appne mana kiya hai"
Anika with a same sweet voice answered "wo kya hai na sir jab aapka party worker bhari sadak pe chalte college main ladki chedega...gundagardi karega aur ACP aur baaki police waalo pe haath uthayega to ye to possible nahi hai na ki use hum aise hi chood de...
usne Non Bail able crime kiya hai to Police waala hone ke naate hum use kaise chood sakte hai"
MLA said "dekhiye isse party ki chavi kharaab hoti"
Anika said with a polite smile "ab sir Kannon aur nyay vyavastha se to app bhi bandhe hai aur hum bhi isliye main abhi to kuch nahi kar sakti 4 din baad court main uski peshi hai hum usse pehle to kuch kar nahi sakte ... meri DGP sir se meeting hai main chalti hoon Namskaar"
With that she join hands taking leave & orders peon "zara vidhayak ji ke liye chai nashte ka intizaam keejiyega" & walks out of her room.
MLA too got irritated at her stern sweet tit for tat reply and left the office. After finishing her work she returned back to home.
Yog looking at her agitated face asked "Kya hua Anika ... lagta hai aaj kisi se lad bhid ke aayi hoo"
Anika looked at him with surprise first & then voiced with a smile "nahi bas irritated hoon aaj wo moti hai na jise maine pakda tha uski zamanat ke liye MLA saab aaye the...in logo ko zara bhi sharam nahi aati ye sab karte hue"
Yog voiced with a laugh "Anika! inme sharam bachi hoti to aise kaam kaise karte"
Anika smiled at the comment & said "Sahi kaha aapne"
Suddenly there was a knock at the door Anika opened the door & was surprised to see that MLA along with his wife at this hour. Anika composed herself & called them inside & after formal settling down MLA said "hum to aap dono ko shadi ki bhadai dene aaye the hum bahar the to aa nahi paaye soocha ab mil lee"
Anika asked caretaker to arrange for the tea. MLA forwarded a bag filled with money & a beautiful Gold set to Anika saying "Ye aapka shagun hai ... waise bhi hum aapke sasur ji ke bahut acche dosto main se hai"
Caretaker comes with a tea & places the tray & Anika stops him voicing "Kaka rukiye! Ye saab hume rishwat dene aaye hai aap mujhe aur apne choote maalik ko to jaante hi hai na ... par aap isme se jo chaahe le sakte hai hume bura nahi lagega ... Shayad isse aapka kuch bhala ho jaaye"
Caretaker replied with a smile "Bahurani mujhe is ghar main 20 saal ho gaye main aapke ghar main kaam karke apna aur apne baccho ka pet bharta hoon ... pada likha utna nahi par itni samajh hai ki aise paise paap ki kamai hote hai aur main aise paise nahi le sakta"
Anika smiled & said "aap jaaiye kaka shukriya"
Then turning to MLA voiced "Jis ghar main maamoli kaam karne waale ka imaan aisa ho us police officer ke imaan ki keemat aap kabhi nahi laga sakte ... Ye sab aap apne saath hi le jaayiyega"
MLA said emphasizing "par ye to shagun hai ise mana nahi karte"
Anika said picking up a 1 rupee note from the bag "Bilkul sahi kaha aapne ... Aap Papa ji ke dost hai aur aapka maan rakhte hue main ise rakhti hoon"
MLA seeing all her tactics failing got up & was about to leave when Anika with a smile said "Sir aap mere ghar pehli baar aaye hai mujhe aur mere pati ko aashirwaad dene kam se kam chai to pee ke jaayiye"
MLA without a word picked up his cash & sets and moved out of the house.
Yog smiled at his wife & said "kya baat hai! tumne to do hi line main taare dikha diye ...well done"
Anika said with smile "ab maine to unke saamne aina rakha tha Yog ye loog apni soorat dekh ke itna bura maan jaayenge mujhe nahi pata tha"
Yog voiced pulling her in his embrace "tum sach main sabse alag ho Anika ...aaj tak tumse ye kehta tha ki main tumse pyar karta hoon ... par aaj pyar se zayada izzat karta hoon ...
in logo ko inki bhasha main hi jawaab dena chahiye aur yadi tumhare jaisi himmat sab kare inko ye sab karne se pehle 100 baar soochna padega"
Anika said with a shy smile parting "Himmat jhooth bolne ke liye chahiye Yog sach bolne ke liye nahi"
Yog said with a smile "bilkul sahi kaha tumne"
Anika smiled back & voiced "Chaliye isse pehle chai thandi ho jaaye chai peete hai fir thodi der main khana lagati hoon" Anika made tea & after having tea Anika went inside to prepare dinner.
Yog was extremely proud his wife today she knew how to deal with such odds of her profession & without any hitch or fear she showed those cheap people their right place.
Yog smiled thinking that she was one unique creation & when he thinks that he had understood her completely she surprises him with something new & that is why he was truly deeply & madly in love with her. His trance broke when Anika called him for dinner he got up & & after freshen up joined Anika for dinner.
