When he stepped out she sneaked in and changed into the nightie, though she would have preferred her usual salwar and skinny tee she even looked at it fondly and felt it with her fingers, but wore what was given to her... quietly
"Be back in 15 mins" he had texted her when she came out of the bathroom
She noticed the tiles had trucks and dinosaurs and tools on them, the shower curtain had sports equipment logos... there was a giant mirror and the bath cabinet under the sink was of some dark wood

Her heart skipped a beat as she stared at Nupur's hand writing for the first time.

Suvi noticed the bed looked slept in... she turned a subtle shade of red when she realized
"Neel kakani aamhala ice cream dila" she said smugly, her face was strawberry scented her hair was hanging in sticky clumps
"Neel?" Suvi stopped
"To khoopa majedaar aahe" Aadhya was overjoyed
"nihar kuthey aahe?" she asked softly
"Tohi gela... tyaane mala rasta olandayala madata keli" (he helped me cross the road)
"Oh?" Suvi nodded stunned
"ajji kade jau?" (did grandma go?)
"Nakko" Aadhya climbed on her lap, and kissed her many times
"Aayi tu beautiful" she said
Suvi smiled and reached for her phone
"Kab uthengi aap?" Neel had texted her at Noon
"Khabar nai" she texted with a smile
"Hum jagayen aapko?" he asked IMMEDIATELY
"Barobar" she said😳
