Well said... Its just not the characters . SoSy gave us Nisha . The story in ID is captivating , a lot more struggles, a lot more complex in lives of ordinary people. But when we have two it's but natural to compare and draw our conclusions.

Suvi, Mrs. Pandit, Neel, preet are characters that complement a great story.

Thank you. I am ordering rotis .Rest I will be doing at home. Cleaning up , assisting with peeling , chopping I will take help . His contribution biggest is staying out of the way. Ha ha .Hubs is pathetic when it comes to cooking. Beyond hope. He has promised to do the vacuum and cleaning . I will be behind him to get that done. For the puffs I hv frozen pastry sheets that I bought again. Filling I'm making is regular potato and peas .
That Gujiya last Saturday that I tried was vidya balan with a sandra bullock face 😳 😆 . The filling was indian but the crust of the puff made it foreign. Should hv fried it instead of baking it.

On the bday plans, I've invited a close group which includes my best friend and her family since childhood days... With her parents who are visiting her and two families , friends of my husband.

Menu: veggie puffs , masala idlis , dhokla and a mango salad for starters . It will go late... So a bit more to the starters.

Main: Arisi kozhakattai and kutti Vengaya sambar, Thai yellow curry with Jasmine Rice..., also Thai noodles with stir fry veggies( with children in mind)Dum aloo and Roti , dahi vada.

Sweets: caramel cake baked by my daughter and I'm making badam kheer.

My daughter will be spending time with extended family and cousins . And with cousins she is exploring a few camping sites. Her group of cousins at all ages is very tight knit . She is not going to kenya. They are spread out in Southern Africa and JBG. She will miss us too but she is ready. Children grow up and it's nice to know that they want to be independent and she's a responsible kid ...Just a little nervous till she reaches. After that she will be under excellent care .
