Sorry Guys, I'm extremely sorry. Just been super busy and life's been testing me over the past few months. Please give me feedback on how you liked this chapter. I worked hard on it and I promise to update regularly.

Also I'm starting a personal story series on my blog. I've always wanted to write but have been very shy and my blog has tad bits of everything I enjoy doing so I would love if you guys visit my blog. It would mean the world to me if you read that story too :)

Chapter 3

Tugging the trolley along, Prem kept taking out everything Heer put in the Trolley. Everytime he took something out, he gave an excuse.

"You know there's a shop in the mall that has this for way cheaper. Why are you wasting your money on this? Heer do you really need a desk lamp that omits 6 different colors. Be a little practical, you can just do with a normal desk lamp."

"Prem, I need it. Do you know nothing about color theory? If I sleep with the blue light on, it's going to relax me and make me sleep better."

"Oh please Heer, all you need for a good night's sleep is a warm glass of milk and you're good to go."

Heer

What is this boy? I just thought he's going to guide me to the city centre and leave me to my own vices. Oh boy, I was wrong. We had just met and he was already making decisions on what I should buy and what I shouldn't.

Never have I felt such an ease in being friends with someone. It's as natural as it could be. Funny how 30 minutes ago I didn't even know of his existence and now I feel like I've known him all my life.

"Heer I'm extremely hungry, can we please go eat something. I could do anything for those KFC wings right now. Crispy to the right degree and so yummy." Prem had a childlike innocence to him, the way his eyes shone while talking about something as simple as food reflected on him.

When control over how your life will shape up is taken away, you mould yourself to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Those simple pleasures give you happiness, hope and strength, even if it's momentarily.

"Prem it's Tuesday and I don't eat meat on Tuesdays."

"Oh, Religious ho. Nice yaar, Jealous of you. I can't be religious. I've tried but it's just not for me. But no worries we can have the bean burrito, it's not as crispy as the wings but it's still quite yummy."

"Hahaha, Okay. Let's go."

Wow quite interesting!
I forgot the story entirely probably have to re read.
It did help when I read about Heer's thoughts - I guess she moved into this city and met this guy Prem.
Nice to c u back. It would be lovely to read updates on this story - like the conversation and PH being friends. 🤗
