This is so so overdue and I'm sorry for not following the story sooner. But here I am and judging by the first chapter, I'm in for an emotional roller coaster. You convey them so well, especially heartbreak so I'm ready.

Chapter 1: Khushi married Shyam?! How did this happen? And Arnav didn't know this because he didn't notice until he saw the baby. I wonder if his monologue about him being bad is about her. It must be. Oh Arnav what did you do to this girl...

Chapter 2: Oh no. Looks like Arnav and Khushi had something going on either friendship or more and he ruined it. She probably fell in love with him more than he did his actions separated them.

Shyam sounds a complete jerk. So what made Khushi marry him. Maybe he changed after college and Khushi gave him a chance. Gave herself a chance to move on...

Chapter 3: What is wrong with Khushi's mami? Using her as a maid and having her help financially for their household?! What a bitch! But worse than her is Khushi's mama. What a coward. Silently watching his niece suffer without doing anything but hope for forgiveness! I'm wondering if she had been better off at an orphanage and that's an awful thought.

Man the more I read about Khushi's home situation and her incredibly timid and naive character, the more I'm worried for the worst. Is it bad that I'm already cursing Arnav even though college Arnav is so sweet to her. The fact that him letting her choose a drink sparked such a reaction in her is so sad. No one cares for her preferences or her likings. Is that what she has grown up to know. Poor thing.

I wish IF had a better way of responding to chapters like Wattpad. I feel like I'm spamming your forum 😳

Chapter 4: Ha! He caught her checking him out 😆 Our boy had a diary. That's unexpected. I'd think Khushi to be the type to have one. But then again that would have been a depression tale of disappointments and heartbreak.

Ok so Khushi is clearly head over heels. She calls him Arnavji. It's sweet but it must make him feel so old. Their camaraderie is strong so not understanding why Arnav wants to step back. Is it because he can sense her falling for him and for some reason he doesn't want it. Yes they are both young and he's got plans so maybe that's why. But something went wrong and he broke her. I hope he didn't do it on purpose and maybe it was a misunderstanding. You are starting to show their differences like him valuing money and material things and her the opposite. He seems to be more into planning ahead while she is more living in the moment type (I might be totally off here but first guesses). I can understand him wanting to take things slow and be cautious but she is so very naive and that lead to her misunderstanding him and maybe feel like he's pushing her away. Hmmm

Chapter 5: Why do I feel like there have been multiple foreshadowings going on here. Payal hoping to pay it back to Arnav and Khushi for all the help she got from them. And most importantly Khushi saying that wanted to give Shyam a second chance but she was wrong. Will that apply to the present situation between her and Arnav?

I can already kinda sense what may have happened here. Their ideologies and dreams are so different and I think that's the base of their separation. He already wanted to break away from her and now she is definitely in love with him. He is a senior so when is he graduating? Maybe they lose touch after that. But that wouldn't break her and make Arnav feel the huge amount guilt he seems to carry. There relation must have evolved into something more serious otherwise it doesn't make sense. Either I'm wrong or Arnav wasn't able to accomplish what he'd set out to do.
