Chapter 6: Khushi's nightmares are awful. She seems to be getting them regularly. How dare her mami (if I can even call her that) be this cruel. She knows exactly what happened on this day and yet she acted like a devil. Give the girl a break. At least today. And for heaven's sake her mama could have said something today (if he was around).

Arnav is totally right in asking her to leave them. Yes these are her blood relations but when they treat you like dirt, how can that relation hold any importance?! I wish she wasn't this insecure. But then again no ones ever taught her how to be confident. The two people who should have done this amongst teaching her other things left her. But even there she still hold no grudge on her father. She is too kind. I'm dreading to find out how her life turned up. I really REALLY hope she had a good marriage. She definitely didn't love Shyam that much I can already tell but I hope he gave her some happiness after her heartbreak from Arnav. I know her daughter has.

I'm not sure how I feel about Arnav finding everything out. I am happy because he can now guide her and help her be independent and confident. His idea about her working and living in a woman's hostel is great! I hope she ponders about that more and doesn't just write it off. He is so smitten with her definitely way more than he admits to. There is no way they can just be friends.

Chapter 7: OH NO! Khushi, what have you done? A public announcement? Oh this can't be good. I'm worried. I can't figure out Arnav's reaction. He could humiliate her by denying it all and fraying ignorance, get super furious, humiliate her by yelling at her, etc. It's all bad. There is no scenario where he is happy and taking her in a hug or even smiling at her. Crap!

I can't even blame Arnav completely if he gets mad. He didn't ask for all this. It's not his fault or problem that Khushi's hasn't had anyone on her side for so long that she literally grabbed onto the first person that showed her some kindness. And it's not her fault either to fall for Arnav in her own innocent way. This is a mess. But it's still not awful enough to justify Arnav's heavy heart and guilt in the beginning of the story so what the hell happened? How bad does it get for Khushi?

Oh and coffee with paratha? Seriously 🤢 😆

Chapter 8: Yup. That went pretty much exactly as I expected it to. Minus Sheetal of course. Why does she always pop up when least expected. Like a recurring infection. LOL

I can't be mad at Arnav for reacting negatively to Khushi's proclamation. However I'm furious for the way he handled it. Yes he is frustrated at the whole situation but to think that he wanted to just phase her out? Is that what you do to a good friend?! That was such a shit move Arnav especially to someone like Khushi.

I hope Khushi will understand why he is upset at her and that his care doesn't imply love in a romantic way. She has so much growing up to do and I wish she had a parent or elder sister/cousin to teach her these things. She is so timid and fending for her own and emotions are so tricky as a teenager. Not to forget that this is her first co-ed experience and Arnav the first guy to wow her both physically and emotionally. So there is a natural attachment and maybe even misinterpreted feelings such as love.

Wonder what was on that paper she gave him. He didn't even bother to look. Jerk! 😡

Chapter 9: No sooner did I called him a jerk then he had to pull a fast one in the complete opposite direction. Young love.

Khushi was right in her assessment. He IS in love. With HER!!! I guess she isn't so young and naive after all. Even I didn't think that Arnav loved her, yet. He was falling for her hard but all his outbursts just didn't fit the bill. But I'm glad he realized and more importantly, accepted it. And she filled out a job application for him?! And that too when she was sick. I'd be so grateful and indebted towards her if I was Arnav.

Another redeeming factor was they way Arnav handled Dadi in regards to Rani. It just baffles my mind how someone who is so religious can also be so evil when it comes to the people around them. Dadi's thoughts about Rani are just deplorable and vile. And unfortunately there are hundreds of Dadis and Ranis in this world and only a few Arnavs that stand up for the weaker ones. What he did for Rani was amazing and just for that I'm glad that Khushi forgave him this quickly. She does love him a bit too much. Girl you've gotta make him sweat a little LOL!

Being Bengali myself, talks about puchkas made my mouth water. Also I just realized that now it makes sense as to why Arnav addressed Khushi's daughter as Shona ❤️

Chapter 10: What a lovely chapter. They are both at such a beautiful stage of their young relationship. Both are very understanding of each other outside of their relationship. Khushi giving him space and him trying to see and enjoy life through her eyes. And unlike his earlier worries, it seems perfect.

All was well until that puppet show. Is this another foreshadowing? Because the possibility of something very similar happening to them is VERY likely given their earlier issues and still different views on what a successful and happy life entails. I don't like this. Also everything is too happy right now. That always means that something bad is about to happen. Not just in the fictional world but this holds true in the real one as well. Reaching equilibrium. What makes all this worse are all these promises. Arnav has already broken a few and now Khushi promising to be there for him always. Clearly more broken promises are in store for them.

Chapter 11: So here we are. Things are about to go haywire *sigh* That damn puppet show! He is leaving and I think this is it for them. Things never pen out as planned. It won't be six months. They probably won't see each other again. I don't know what more to say right now. I'm just preparing myself for Khushi's heartbreak. Oh she will be shattered by whatever Arnav does and I have a pretty good idea of what that might be... 😕
