They had heard it - the conversation of killing Rajveer on his way to the prison. They could not let this happen, not after all this. They raced their minds through all possibilities, contacting their officers, pleading and begging them. Finally, Suriji gave them a ray of hope, by providing the ammunition.

They teamed up to protect their mentor. Fighting all odds, they reached the place, where Rajveer was being targeted by those goons. They expressed their concern regarding his life, while he assured them how important they were to this nation. He had asked them to have faith in him, and to be the best soldiers of this nation. They were sad, for whatever was happening, but happy that their Rajveer Sir would not have to rot in jail, for a crime he never committed. They were happy for Rajveer's escape, his freedom.

Surrounding him, they were trying their best to protect him, and help him run away from all his miseries. And then, they heard it - a gun shot. Possibly meant to strike Rajveer's forehead, but then the hug happened. Rajveer moved a bit, shifting his head up.

The shooter had fired, his gun would reach his aim, but the position of his target had changed, and it hit Rajveer's arm, near his shoulder. The velocity of that shot sent shivers down their spine. More than scared, they were worried, for what time will unfold in the next few minutes. But looking at Rajveer drive away in that jeep gave them a momentary happiness, before they heard another sound - the sound of his jeep blasting, burning down into ashes.

Devastated, as they all were, but they had to fight, with those men, dressed in black. And as if it was not enough, Naina had become hysterical. Oh why couldn't she understand? That Rajveer Sir would have managed to escape, and if not, then it was too late to save him. That going near the jeep would have injured her both physically and emotionally. Meanwhile, Huda got shot, not once or twice, but thrice. And it felt as if they were losing everything, first Rajveer, then Naina, and now Huda. The team of six had come down to 4, with Huda fighting the battle for his own life, and Naina leaving no chance to try to jump into the burning jeep, either saving Rajveer or burning herself along.

Back at the academy, Brigadier Chandok was not able to come to terms with the ongoing events. He was already disturbed by the way things had turned ugly in Rajveer's case, and now the news of Rajveer being attacked, and the cadets taking charge of protecting him disgusted him. He decided to follow them, to check if the cadets were being truthful or just creating a nuisance. He will not spare them if it turned out to be just another one of their mischief.

The scene at the accident spot stunned him, he bravely fought the enemies and supported his cadets. He also saw the burning jeep, and it saddened him to think of Rajveer's death. And after what seemed like a couple of hours, they had shot all those bad guys, and now descended to check on the remains of the jeep. No evidence of a dead body, no evidence of any escape.

He silently prayed for Rajveer's safety, as he ordered the cadets to get into the jeep, and move back to the academy.
