Arohi came downstairs with a frown as she kept gazing at her mobile. She was trying to call Arjun ever since she has woke up but his mobile was coming unreachable. Without any interest she ate breakfast served by her mom. She looked at time and decided to leave early for office so she could meet him there and give him an earful.
Her mouth opened in o as she stood stunned seeing him outside her house. He waved at her with his trademark smile plastered on his face.
Arohi blinked twice to assure she wasn't hallucinating.
Wearing a brown three piece suit he was looking as fresh as morning breeze.
Taking calculative steps she walked towards him.
"What are u doing here?"
"Surprise!" Thats all he said as he pulled out a red rose from his coat's inside pocket. "Happy Valentine's Day!"
A huge grin formed on her lips as she graciously accepted the rose "Happy Valentine's Day!"
He opened the car door for her as she sat inside with that stupid grin adorning her face.
"For how long have u been waiting outside? Why didn't u come inside?" She bombarded him with questions as soon he started driving.
"I had just reached when u came out!"
Arohi looked at him with confusion as he pulled car to side after 2 blocks.
"What happened? Why are u stopping here?"
He looked at her mischievous smile "to do something which I couldn't do with ur family staring at us from window!" He winked removing his seat belt
She could only manage an oh before he captured her lips with his. It wasn't their first kiss...hell they have kissed so many times but this one was so electrifying that she felt like being kissed for first time.
"Now it's Valentine's Day!" He remarked making her blush.
When she reached her cubicle, a bouquet of her favorite purple orchids was waiting for her with a cute note that said..."With Love, From Love"
She got lot of teasings from her colleagues but she was too happy to be bothered. Never had she thought that she will date her boss Arjun Singhania and that he would be so romantic, who will not only listen her silly demands but will actually honor them. When she asked him to make her Valentine special, she thought he will organise a lavish dinner for her but him actually showing up at her door was a pleasant surprise.
Picking up a random file she walked towards his cabin. Giving a customary knock she entered his cabin without waiting for his reply.
"Good Morning, Sir" she spoke chirply making him smile.
"Good Morning, Miss Arohi" he leaned back on his chair. "What brings u here?"
"You!" She grinned taking a seat in front of him.
His deep rich laughter echoed in the room. She sighed and resting her chin on hand shamelessly ogled at him.
"Staring is rude!"
"Oh! But I am just admiring"
He shook his head chuckling "as much as I would love that but I am sure u came here to not just admire me"
Arohi bobbed her head up and down with a goofy smile.
"Since u r trying too hard to be Boyfriend of the year, I got u a gift!"
Raising his brows Arjun looked at her earnestly "gift!?"
"Actually gifts!" She said with a grin "I wanted to give u them in evening but I couldn't hold my excitement!"
"Gifts" he was surprised
She nodded and opened her bag and pulled out a box "it's my first time at this. So good or bad u r not allowed to complaint" she forwarded the box to him.
He opened to find his favorite Choco chip cookies in it. "U baked them!"
"Yeah! I know it's not as good as u always eat..."
"Non sense" he spoke with his mouth stuffed with cookies "they are delicious!"
"Really" she asked to which he nodded.."Honi hi thi..maine jo bnayi h!" (Has to be..afterall i had baked them)
Arjun shook his head in disbelief "my other gift!"
"I made u a card" she handed him a manila envelope.
Arjun smiled reading the words on envelope "To the boss of my heart "
It was a cute rectangular card. A heart was made with small hearts and Happy Valentines Day was written in a beautiful cursive handwriting.
"Isn't it cute?" She grinned making him smile.
If Arjun didn't already know then that day he must have realized that his girlfriend was an enthu cutlet!
"I specially ordered these coffee beans for u and ur favorite comics"
"Is there anything more?" He asked raising his brows.
"No" Arohi shook her head "u r still hungry for more?"
Keeping the card on table, he walked rounding the table. He half leaned on table taking her hand in his.
"Thank you!" He whispered planting a kiss on back of her hand.
"Now my gift?" She asked expectantly.
He scratched his brow "I will give u ur gift tonight but till then I have something else for u!"
"Okay" she shrugged her shoulders "Where is it?"
Leaning back completely Arjun opened his drawer and pulled out a jar. "So I googled this" he spoke sheepishly and handed her jar "There are ice-cream sticks in this jar. On each stick there is some task written. U can pull one stick out at a time and we can do that!"
"Sounds interesting! Let's do one now" she grinned n pulled out a stick
"Kiss me hard!"
Arohi read out loud and stared at Arjun who smirked in return.
"Happily" he tried reaching for her but she slapped his advancing hands away and pulled out another stick.
"French Kiss"
She pulled out another one "Eskimo Kiss"
"What the hell is Eskimo kiss?" She asked confusingly.
He kept his both hands on arm rest caging her "let me demonstrate"
"Spiderman Kiss!" "What the hell?" She raised her face and he was just few inches away from her.
He grinned "we will need couch for that!"
"Exactly how many sticks are there?"
"20"
"20 types of kisses!?" She asked astonished "I didn't know these many types of kisses exist!"
"Now that u know..how about we try them?"
"We are in office"
He inched closer "it's not the first time we will share a kiss on office"
"Bu..." Her words were lost as his hot breath fell on her while he rubbed her nose with his back and forth.
"This is called Eskimo Kiss"
"Oh" their breaths mixed as he tilted his head a little to capture her lips. Her all thoughts went haywire as he kissed her to coma.
A giggle released from her mouth as Arjun don a chef's cap. He looked so adorable and funny that she couldn't help laughing.
"Don't laugh and wear ur apron!" He commanded.
So instead of going for cliche romantic dinner, Arjun signed them in a local cafe for pizza making session.
Arjun was totally engrossed in making pizza dough using the pre arranged ingredients.
"Arjun" she huskily called him and when he turned to look at her she blew flour on his face.
He started coughing while she laughed hysterically at his now white face.
"Arohi!" He narrowed his gaze at her and taking some flour in his hand and proceeded to rub on her face.
"Sir we shouldn't waste food!" She tried escaping but he held her with his free hand rubbed flour on her cheeks.
"Now u won't laugh?" He asked wiggling his brows. She stuck her tongue at him and started preparing toppings.
"What topping u want?"
"Pineapple"
She stared at him wide eyed "pineapple?"
"Yo" he said preparing the base "I like pineapple pizza"
"We are never ordering same pizza!" She announced looking at him with disgust like he had committed some crime.
He burst out laughing seeing his face "I m just kidding " he tapped her nose "choose whatever topping u want"
Arohi sighed "I don't get it who thought to put pineapple on a pizza?"
Laughing and talking they both completed making Pizza. Actually it was only Arjun who did everything, Arohi concentrated only on talking and keeping the Pizza in oven.
Later on they had their self baked pizza with a pint of beer having light hearted conversations about their family, college days and childhood.
Arohi loved these moments with him when he is just Arjun and not the business tycoon Arjun Singhania who always looks like he is shouldering whole world's problem.
"Are u finally going to give me my gift?" She asked with uncontrolled enthusiasm as he stopped the car outside her house.
He chuckled and stepping outside walked towards his door. He extended his hand for her "yes! My love."
Holding his hand she came outside "I am very excited!"
"I can see! Now close ur eyes"
As she did, he pulled out a red velvet box from his pants pocket.
Taking her hand in his she clasped the white gold cuff on her wrist.
She gasped opening her eyes. It was very beautiful cuff with moon and heart charms and also "to Moon and back" was engraved on it.
"It's beautiful!" She threw her hands around his neck nestling in his warm embrace.
He pressed a soft kiss on her head "I Love You"
"I Love You!"
