Payal felt delighted when Mamiji supported her.

Nani gave a disgusted look at Anjali. Khushi felt happy when her family supported her, wanting her presence.

Khushi: Jiji please. Just because of me don't spoil your function. She is right, I cannot..

Payal: You shutup Khushi. If you wont come, then forget the baby shower!! I don't want it.

Khushi: Let her attend the function.

Khushi said, hinting Anjali.

Payal: Khushi??

Khushi: I don't want the people taunting us, asking for her. We are a family and I don't want the whole world to know about the disputes in our family.

Payal: Look Di..u didn't want her to attend the function and she wants you to attend the function!!! Look at her. You did so wrong to her but she is still supporting you. Why are you so mean? Show some mercy on this poor soul.

Anjali didn't speak anything and went away from there. The whole family dispersed.

Khushi could not believe that Sanchi was carrying Arnavji's child. She heard a knock on the door. She unlocked it and saw Arnav standing.

Her face became pale. Everytime she used to cheer up looking at him and today she was dull? Arnav did not fail to notice the change in her expression.

Arnav: Hey, kya hua?

He went to cup her face, but unknowingly she moved back. Arnav lowered his hands.

Khushi: Nothing.

Arnav: Come down, everyone is having dinner.

Khushi: haan.

He joined his palm with hers and was about to move, but she withdrew her hand. Arnav was surprised. He frowned.

Whats wrong with her?why is she denying my touch?

Arnav: Khushi, is everything alright?

She gave a slight nod.

Khushi: You go, I will come.

He moved forward only to hear her scream. He turned back and saw her crying in pain. Her leg had twisted. She sat on the bed trying to soothe her pain.

Arnav: Let me see.

He was about to touch her leg, when she forcibly pulled the leg back.

Now Arnav got angry.

Arnav: Whats wrong with you? Why aren't you letting me touch you?

Khushi: I will manage.

Arnav: That's not my answer.

He held her leg tightly so that she cannot pull it back and turned it in another direction. She screamed at once, but her leg became proper. He left her leg immediately.

Arnav: You think I am a fool Khushi? That I don't understand your gestures?

Khushi didn't reply.

Arnav: You don't want me touch you right Khushi?

Khushi looked into his eyes.

Arnav(huskily): Just because you feel that I and Sanchi shared a relationship. Right Khushi? And now I have no rights to touch you, right Khushi?

His eyes were a bit moist, because she didn't trust him. She didn't fail to notice that.

Khushi: I didn't mean it Arnavji.

She didn't want to hurt him. She didn't know why she did that?

Arnav: This shows how much you trust me. You don't want me to touch you right? Then fine I wont Khushi. I will never touch you.

Without wasting much time, he left from there.

Khushi: Arnavji..I didn't mean it.

She shut her eyes, letting the tears flow down. She was sad that she hurt him.

Khushi: Arnavji pass me the roti.

She purposely asked him.

Arnav gave it to Nk, so that he could pass it to Khushi.

Khushi: Arnavji give me the curd.

Mami: It is in front of you. Why bother Arnav bitua?

Khushi bit her lips. ARnav didn't even look at Khushi.

All of sudden Khushi started coughing purposely. Mami, Nk and Nani patted her back. But Arnav didn't. he knew she was acting.

Arnav: I am done.

Arnav left to his room without looking at Khushi.

Khushi banged the door. Arnav opened the door without any interest.

Arnav: What is it?

Khushi was finding an opportunity, so that he could touch her.

Khushi: My night dress is in your wardrobe. Will you get it?

Arnav: I think you have your own hands and legs.

Khushi(to herself): plan fail.

She moved forward and suddenly slipped and fell on Arnav, who instead fell down. Both of them fell on the ground with Khushi upon Arnav.

Her whole body was above his. She looked into his eyes intensely.

Khushi: I am sorry Arnavji, I didn't mean to hurt you. I was so confused with myself that..I am sorry Arnavji.

She held her ears. He melted at her cute confession.

Arnav: Its fine.

Khushi: Now break your promise.

Arnav: What?

Khushi: That you will never touch me.

ARnav: I have a condition.

Khushi: What?

Arnav: Kiss me.

Khushi's eyes widened.

Arnav: I m waiting.

He smirked. She slowly leaned her soft lips against his cheek. Her face flushed. Her cheeks were as red as tomatoes.

Arnav(huskily): Khushi..

Khushi: Hmm

She was too lost in him.

Arnav(whispered seductively): Do you want to stay on the floor for the whole time?

Khushi: Huh?

Khushi came to her senses and saw that they had fallen down and they needed to get up.

Khushi looked at the banana peel which made her fall on the floor.

Sanchi entered the room.

Sanchi: I m sorry, I went to throw that on the dustbin but I don't know how it fell there.

Khushi looked at the dustbin which was ten cm away from the banana.

Arnav: How could you be so careless? What if you had fallen down? Don't forget that you are pregnant!!

Khushi could feel a burning sensation in her heart when Arnav was concerned for Sanchi.

Khushi: I will leave. Take care, Sanchi.

She was choking when she said that.

Next night,

Sanchi was walking towards the steps but then suddenly her ankle got sprained. She couldn't even move further. Arnav was present there. He looked at her efforts to climb the stairs. He went towards her and offered his hand so that she could hold his hand and climb the stairs. She tried but failed in her attempts.

Arnav: Try Sanchi.

Sanchi: Humse nahi ho raha.

After thinking for a thousand times Arnav picked her in his arms and climbed the stairs. He didn't even look at her once. He was just HELPING her.

Just then Khushi came out of her room and the sight in front of her surely made her shocked. Why was he carrying Sanchi? She was jealous, sad and teary.

She could see that nowadays Arnav was getting close to Sanchi unlike before. She saw him taking her to his room.

Is he falling for her?thought Khushi.

Arnav placed her on the bed and went to the couch.

Sanchi: Thanks.

He looked at the happiness in her face.

Arnav: Don't think it in any other way. I was just helping you. That's it.

After some time,

Arnav went out of his room just to check if Khushi had slept. He does it every day. He goes to her room, gives her a peck and then return to his room.

He met Nani on his way.

Nani: Where are you going chotte?

Arnav: To see Khushi.

Nani: She has slept, I checked her.

Arnav: But still Nani..

Nani: Don't disturb her. Go to sleep.

Arnav agreed with Nani.

In Khushi's room,

Khushi looked at the time. It was twelve. Arnav had not come yet.

He comes to check me everyday? Why didn't he come today?

Is he really falling for Sanchi?

Her eyes became moist. Arnav was slipping out of her hands.

It was the baby shower function. All the relatives, neighbours, were present in the function. Payal let Anjali attend the function with a condition that Anjali wont bless her baby. Everyone was happy. The men were not allowed to come down unless the rasam was over.

Everyone blessed Payal's unborn baby except Anjali.

Khushi heard some two ladies talking about her.

One lady: Why is she here? She is infertile right?

Khushi's heart wrenched when they said like that. She quickly went to some other place not wanting to hear anymore.

The function ended very well. The men were allowed to come down. Hp was distributing sharbat to everyone. Khushi too drank one. Payal was sent to her maayka to stay there for a few days. Khushi started feeling dizzy. Khushi was going to washroom when some man stopped her.

The man: Hey pretty lady.

Khushi: Leave my way.

The man: How can I let you go easily?

He held her hand.

Khushi: Leave my hand.

He started misbehaving with Khushi until someone pulled him from behind and held his collar. There was rage in his eyes. His eyes were burning like fire.

Arnav: How dare you? How dare you touch her?

Arnav started pressing his neck until the man begged for his life. Arnav left him, not wanting to create a scene. He saw Khushi, who was closing her eyes now and then and she was wailing. It didn't take much time for him to realize that she was under the effect of alcohol.

How did she get intoxicated? Thought Arnav

Anjali who saw this, went to help Khushi. Anjali held Khushi's hand to help her come out.

Anjali: Come Khushiji.

Khushi: Leave me..

She shouted on top of her voice making the guests confused. Nk sent away all the guests telling that it was personal matter.

All raizada members, except Payal were present there. Everyone could see that Khushi was intoxicated and she blurted out everything that was hidden in her heart.

Khushi: Stop your drama Di. What do you want to show? That you care for me? Huh? To hell with your care di!! You, Anjali Singh Raizada, have ruined my life!!!

Anjali kept quiet.

Khushi(crying): What do you want? You successfully snatched all my happiness. You know Di, how it feels when you see your own husband marrying again? You know how it feels to decorate the bed on his second marriage, for him and his second wife!!! You don't know, because you never experienced this. Yeah, I could not give you a baby after four years of my marriage. But its mine and Arnavji's personal matter and we could solve it. Why the hell did you have to interfere? But no!! You just wanted him to marry again. Just tell me Di, after how many years of your marriage did you get pregnant? Seven years right? Did anyone taunt you? Did Shyamji's family marry him again just because you were incapable of giving him a child? Did your family point out anything against you? No right!!! But its not yet four years that I and Arnavji have married and you insulted me in front of the family, calling me an INFERTILE!!! You know how it feels to be called so?

Arnav went to console Khushi who was crying very badly now.

Khushi: Arnavji I am fine. Today I will speak!! No matter how much it hurts me, I have to speak. This lady has made my life a hell today. You realize it Di? Do you? Why are you hell bound to destroy me? You have snatched my dignity, my husband, my confidence. Today I am ashamed to walk in the streets, just because of you Di!!! Each and every person in the street calls me an Infertile. Is it a sin, for not being able to be a mother? What is my mistake in all this Di? Tell me. It was our personal problem, and congrats Anjali raizada, today the whole world knows that Khushi cant bear a child!!! Thank you for destroying me.

Khushi collapsed on the floor crying. Khushi spoke the last line twice and fainted on the floor due to affect of alcohol. She had moved everyone into tears. Arnav picked her in his arms and looked angrily at Anjali.

Arnav: Happy Di? That's what you wanted right? If anything happens to Khushi, I wont spare you. Remember that !!And just do me a favour, never show me your face again!!

Anjali: Chotey!!

Arnav: Don't call me that. You have lost me. FOREVER!!!

All of them gave disgusting looks at Anjali. Arnav carried Khushi to his room. Everone dispersed except Sanchi.

Sanchi: Why did you do this? You have destroyed three lives.

Sanchi questioned Anjali with moist eyes.
