THANK YOU, DIVINE TRIO!

Dear Krishna,

Pranaam! Thank you for making the previous thread successful! Keep showering your blessings on me! Keep guiding me on right track! Give me the ability to understand your devotee and to restore his lost reputation.

Revered Maharishi Ved Vyas,

Pranaam! Thank you for your great creation! Give me your blessings! May my story always follow your footprints! May I never invent anything so stupid that cannot be supported by your story-line!

Dear Ajaatshatru,

Pranaam! Hope you have liked your new palace! Please enter inside, and fill this place with your pious aura! May everybody learn from you how to be good!

THANK YOU, DEAR READERS!

Welcome to the new palace of Maharaj Yudhishthir! šŸ¤—

Today we are in the second thread and this success is yours! Without your support it was never possible. Thanks a ton for being a part of the journey of this story! Lots of love for all of you, dear friends!

Special thanks to:

Varaali didi: for being a co-author of this story and for guiding me in every step with necessary information and explanations of Mahabharat.

Proteeti: for understanding every subtle message I wanted to convey through my writing, and obviously for the nice discussions I enjoyed with her.

Mohini: for her sweet presence and for imbibing the lessons from the life of Dharmaraj.

Geetha di and Nidhi di: for their suggestions and constructive criticism which helped me to improve my writing.

Jhulan di: for being there with her vast knowledge of the epic and for assuring me that my understanding of the epic is not incorrect.

Thank you Shobha di, Sreelekha, Aadhya, Nonie, and my new friend Srutha. Thanks to all my other regular, non-regular and silent readers.

Congratulations, not to you but your fortunate readers who get the opportunity to appreciate Yudhishthir in such a wonderful light of both his dharma and mistakes.
He was terribly wrong, yes, to carry forth with the dice game, but I believe he was bound by many other stuff he thought could not be crossed!
Oh, just if Kanha was there at that time to chide him out of his decision and gave him the courage to disregard his elders (read Dhritarastra-Shakuni) for once!
And thanks for mentioning me, even I loved putting forth my understanding of your updates and having the little conversations!

Even after his mistakes he is respectable since he could purify himself again. Humans make mistakes but only a good human can rectify it. Dice game proves him a human and Van Parva proves him a good human. I know he was terribly wrong, I know his crime was unforgivable but should we look at his actions only, overlooking the present situation, Vyas's prediction that he heard and his helplessness? If we overlook the other factors which did not let him leave the game, then undoubtedly he was the biggest sinner of that day. But Krishna sees everything so He could sympathize with him which we cannot. If we ask Krishna what He thinks about Yudhi I am sure Krishna will repeat the verses I have quoted. But if we are asked, dice match will be the first thing that comes to our mind to define that man in one word. Gambler! His misfortune, not our fault!
Anyway. We haven't even reached Sabha Parva so let's reserve this topic for that time.

Yep, that he was. The fact that he redeemed and grieved for his sins is the reason why we love him.
Thank you for using my stuff BTW! And you new UN totally suits!

Actually he was not that much guilty what we use to think. I too had a misconception at a time but after reading K.M. Munshi's Krishnaavataar I have understood many things clearly. And which I don't like is, most of the people do forget his virtues while talking about dice match. Also they cannot remember that there are even worse sinners present in the hall that day. Black spot on a white character attracts us so much! *Sigh*
But no, today we should not talk about that event which hurts him! Today let him be happy in his new home!
