She was seated in living area of her mansion, studying for her last exam.
"Urgh! I hate mathematics. Its so difficult-" She whined, she had been trying to solve a problem from past one hour, but failing every attempt. Her father had gone out for office work, she was alone at home.
"Need help?" A deep husky voice reached her ears, starling her. Her head snapped toward the source of the voice of a stranger. Her eyes rounded as they caught sight of a stranger standing there.
"Who are you?" Taani asked the stranger, she studied him closely, trying to remember if she had seen him before. He looked familiar. He had black hair along with beautiful pair of chocolate brown eyes, the color she likes. He had sharp facial features and well built body.
"Hey! Are you some actor or model?" She asked him with great enthusiasm, earning a chuckle from him.
"No. I'm not an actor or model, but why did you thought I'm one?" He questioned her back, he sat beside her on the couch, maintaining a safe distance from her to not to make her uncomfortable.
"You look like one." She answered immediately, making him laugh softly at the sheer innocence she showed while answering.
"I'll take that as a compliment, but I'm an entrepreneur. My name is Reyaansh Singhania." The handsome stranger introduced himself to her.
"Oh! Now i got it why i felt i have seen you somewhere before. I have seen your pictures in magazine. By the way, I am taani."
"Hi, taani. You have a beautiful name-"
"Thank you." Taani smiled at him politely.
"Why you came here?" She asked him as politely as could, not wanting to sound rude to him.
"I came to meet your father. Where is he?"
"He had gone out for some work. You can wait for him, if you want." Taani answered him with a smile then she again went back to her books. She again tried solving the mathematics problem but couldn't.
"Need help?" Rey asked her when he noticed her struggle. Taani look at him, she hesitated for a moment, but then nodded in agreement. She showed him the maths problem. Rey solved the problem for her and teach her the method twice, making sure she gets what he is teaching.
"Thank you so much, Reyaansh. From past one hour i was trying to solve this, but you solved it in a moment. Thank you." Taani beamed in happiness, she took her notebook from him and continued her work while he waited for her father to come.
After half an hour, Rishi Shekhawat entered the mansion. Rey got up from his place and greeted him. Then both went in his study room to discuss about some business related matter. Taani & Rey stole glances at each other, without letting the other one know.
But the small interaction between them had left huge impact on their hearts.
