A JOURNEY BACK IN TIME
Gone are the days, of morning Ragas and Mangalams
linger on the memories of banter and exchanges
Gone are the days When the forum was divided in defending and condemning
When Ranjan and Manny Bala and Subbhu ceased to be fictional characters
Gone are the days when i read every post and clicked on every song referenced,
Gone are the days when we wanted two updates in quick succession
Like the couple deeply in love ever fighting and making over
We managed to line up daily for the morning Ragas and prayed for Nisha's light to turn green.
Gone are the days when folks went scurrying to their neighbours to find out what is Murungakkaai
Gone are the days We began reviews of a line extending in time and evolved into full fledged reviews
Gone are the days When we chased one another vide posts
Gone are the days When we debated recipes
Gone are the days When all the match making notes were aired with glee
Gone are the days When fantasies of RB made the daily rounds
Was awaited more eagerly than the monsoons.
Gone are the days Of fights of innocence and conspiracies,
Of Competitions, of jealousy and claims.
And the month long preparations for babies and marriages.
Gone are the days of arguing over bosses and work pressures,
We laughed, we cried, we fought, we thought.
Gone are the days With so much fun in them, so many friends,
So much experience, bonding all this and more.
Gone are the days But not the memories,
which will Linger in our hearts for ever and ever to savor and mull over, to ponder and move on
THE NICE THING ABOUT MEMORIES IS THAT THEY ARE OURS ALONE
