There is No Love like the Love for a Brother.There is no Love like the Love from a Brother.
Rey and Taani were in the car,on their way to Singhania mansion.
Taani was looking outside..a fond memory coming back to her.
Flashback:
A 6 year old Taani was talking sadly to her 7-year old brother Swayam.
"Bhai..mujhe mama ki yaad aa rahi hai. "she said looking at the night sky..her cute eyes glistening with tears.
Swayam gently wiped her tears.
"Meri gudiya ko aunty ki yaad aa rahi hai?"he asked tenderly.
Taani nodded in a yes.
"Toh main hun na! Jabhi tumhe aunty ki yaad mujhse baat kar lena!"he said smiling widely.
"Sachi bhai?"she asked her drained face glowing due to his words.
Swayam cupped her face.
"Haan gudiya.Main tumhara mama papa bhai sab hun na.Toh ro kyu rahi ho?"he said.
"Nhi roungi."she said nodding her head sideways cutely.
" I love you bhaiya!"she said and hugged Swayam.
"I love you meri gudiya!"he said and kissed her hairs.
Taani's eyes filled with fresh tears.Rey who glancing at her every now and then,sighed.He placed his palm on hers,silently comforting her.
She sensed his gentle touch but did not attempt to wipe her tears.
He held her hands and took her inside,making her sit down on the sofa.He got a glass of water for her.
"Yeh lo Taani.Paani piyo." he said gently.
Taani drank the water and returned the glass.
He waited for her to speak.
"NDC ke samay bhi unhone mujhe samajne ki koshish nahi ki."she said surprising him.
"Kabhi nahi pucha ki kyu main uss tarah se behave kar rahi thi.Sabke saath woh bhi mujhe galat samajte rahe.Woh jaante the ki main bina wajah kabhi kisike saath rudely behave nahi karti.Bewajah kisipar nahi chillati.Unki parvarish par unhi ko bharosa nahi raha?? Aur aapki identity chupani waali baat.Main kya paagal hun ki aapka sapna aapse cheen ne ki koshish karungi??Aapse milne se pehle aapka dance dekha tha maine.Aapse pehle aapke dance se,aapke junoon se pyaar kiya.Agar iski shuruat maine ki hai toh isey khatam bhi main hi karungi.Lekin nahi Taani galat hai toh hai.Koi mujhe samjhe ya na samjhe,apne hi Bhai se kya main itni si bhi umeed nahi rakh sakti??"she spoke shocking Rey.
"Yeh Taani kis wajah ki baat kar rahi hai??Abhi puchna thik nahi hoga.Kal iss baaremein baat karunga isse."he thought.
"Taani.."he said placing his hand on her shoulder.
"Relax..main tumhe filhal yeh toh nahi keh sakta ki sab kuch thik ho jaayega,par yeh zarur keh sakta hun ki main tumhare saath hun."he assured her gently.
She looked at him.His eyes reflected love and honesty,calming her down a bit.
"Maine aapki baat maan li aur aapke saath aapke ghar aagayi.Ab aap meri baat maano aur mujhe thodi der akela chod do pls."she said.
Rey sighed.
"Fine Taani.But please go and rest.U need rest sweetheart."
"Hmmm"
"Tum jaao mere kamre mein rest karo.Main kuch der mein aata hun."he said.
She nodded and walked slowly to his room.
Meanwhile Rey called up Sharon,
"Sharon..hey! Woh. Main taani ko apne ghar le aaya hun.Swayam kaisa hai??"
"Ok..Rey. Uska khayal rakhna.Main aur Swayam abhi ghar pohoche.Woh room mein gaya hai."she said looking at Swayam who was walking into his room like a zombie.
Rey could make out from Sharon's voice she was crying.
"Sharon tum bhi rona bandh karo aur Swayam ka khayal rakho."he said gently.
"Yup..dont worry.Subah baat kare?"
"Ya..goodnight Sharon. Take care.."
They hung up.
He went upstairs only to find Taani a few steps inside his room,staring at the walls,shocked to say the least.
On the wall facing the door,above the bed hung a huge,life-size photo frame of Taani and Rey.
On the right wall there was beautiful collage of Taani's pics. At the center of the collage hung a pic of a smiling bubbly Taani surrounded by other beautiful pictures of hers.
His room was also done as per her liking,including the colour and arrangement of furniture!!
Taani had a smile on her face.
She went to the large TaaRey frame above the bed and touched it..smiling.
She had told him recently how she wished their room after marriage to be.She had never thought he would actually go and fulfill her wishes so soon.
For some time,her mind diverted from Swayam to this hard-work of Rey's.
Rey entered the room relieved at the sight of Taani's smile returning,even if for sometime.He had re-done the room with extreme love and care just three days ago.
Before she had told him about her wish,there was only the life-size TaaRey frame hanging on the main wall.
He had never wanted her to know about it in this manner.
He had planned to surprise Taani after the problems between them had gotten solved.
But if his hard-work could bring a smile on her face when she needed it the most,he decided it was better than any surprise.
The smile on her face right now was more priceless than it would have been if his plan of revealing the room to her would have worked.
"Chalo,tumhare chehre par muskan toh aayi."he said going near her.
She turned around to find him smiling widely.Immense love was visible in those brown orbs.
She was touched at his love for her.
Rey spread his arms wide inviting her to embrace him.
She hugged him tight,resting her head on his chest.Both shut their eyes,finding much-needed peace in each other's arms.
"Thanks Rey.."she said raising her head from his chest and looking at him.
"Mention not.Tumhe acha laga na??"he asked his arms still around her waist.
"Bohot zyada!!I have no words..its beautiful!!"she said happily causing him to smile.
"Par..maine aapse kaha tha gang ki pics lagane.Aapne meri lagadi!!"Taani pouted.
Rey laughed and shook his head.
"Tumhari saari wishes puri kardi.Meri ek wish thi tumhari pics lagane ki toh lagadi.Look at the left wall,it has our pic at the center surrounded by pics of the gang."he said pointing to the left wall.
She walked toward it followed by him.At the center hung their frame surrounded by pics that had captured wonderful memories of friendship.
Her eyes scanned all the frames,stopping at a frame that held her and Swayam's pic.It was a beautiful one where both were in a side-hug,smiling widely.
She shut her eyes,which welled up with tears again.Her mind returned back to Swayam.
Rey sighed.He turned her toward himself and wiped her tears.
"Stop crying Taani.Raat bohot hogayi hai.Aise hi roti rahogi toh bimaar padh jaaogi.Chalo aakar so jaao."he said placing his hands on her shoulders.
"Neend nahi aa rahi."she said.
"Taani please.Mere liye??"he pleaded.
She nodded and he led her toward his bed.
He sat on the bed and made her lay down,her head resting on his lap.
"I love you Taani..main har pal tumhare saath rahunga."he assured caressing her hairs.
She looked up at him and smiled.
She needed this assurance from him.
He continued caressing her hairs gently.She slowly dozed off.
He kissed her hairs.
"Sab thik ho jaayega Taani..I promise."he whispered.
He arranged a pillow against the bedrest and supported his back on it.He slept off in that position itself.
With SwaRon,
Swayam had been silently crying throughout the car-ride.Sharon felt utterly helpless.
"Aaj aapne mera vishwaas thoda hai Bhai.Main kabhi bhi Swayam Shekawat ki behen Taani Shekawat bann hi nahi sakti.Kyunki Taani toh anath hai."
The words kept playing like a tape-recorder again and again in his head.
He wasn't even aware of the tears continuously flowing down his cheeks.He made no attempt to wipe them.
All he could think was about Taani.
They reached TaaYam's house and Sharon helped him out of the car.They went in and she was about to lead Swayam to his room,when Rey called up to inform about Taani and ask about Swayam.
She spoke to him all the while watching Swayam walk into his room like a zombie,completely unaware about the world around him.
She finished speaking to Rey and quickly rushed to Swayam's room.
He was sitting on the ground with his face buried in his hands.Her heart broke into a million pieces at this sight.
She sat down beside him and placed her hands on his shoulders,silently comforting him.
"Gun..gunaah hua hai mujhse.Aaj..aaj haar gaya main."he cried,struggling to speak.
"Nahi Swayam.."she said.
"Haan sharon!!Apna vaada nibhaane mein haar gaya,ek Bhai ke rup mein haar gaya.Apni behen ka vishwaas haar gaya."he sobbed.
Sharon remained silent wanting him to pour all his anguish and frustration out.
"Do saal ka tha main..jab Taani meri zindagi mein aayi.Aur woh ek saal ki pyaari si gudiya jaisi.Hamare parents kaafi ache dost the.Hum tabse sab kuch saath mein hi karte the..khelna,khaana.pina."
"Woh 2 1/2 years ki thi..jab usne bolna chalu kiya.Hum dono hi bohot chote the..par mujhe ek baat bohot ache se yaad hai."he said fondly.
Flashback:
An adorable 3 1/2 years old Swayam was playing with an equally adorable 2 1/2 years old Taani.
Taani went crawling to get a toy when she hurt her foot on the side table.
"AAA"she began crying.
"Gudiya!!" cried Swayam rushing to her and examined her foot.
He wiped her tears,unable to see her in pain.
He massaged her foot with his small hands while Taani looked on curiously.Her pain reduced and she stopped crying.
"Bhaiyaa.."she said cutely.
Swayam looked up at her.She was giggling with a finger in her mouth.
"Bhaiyaaa."she said again.
He kept looking at her.
"Swayam bhaiyaaa.."she said and pulled his shirt giggling.
A tear escaped from little Swayam's eyes though he did not know why which was immediately wiped away by Taani.
Swayam hugged her.
"Meri gudiyaa.."he whispered while she kept giggling.
It was the birth of the most purest bond shared by a girl and a boy,between Swayam and Taani.The bond of a brother and sister.
The only difference was this one was not blood-related.God had bound these two hearts not by blood but by pure,unconditional love.❤️
Sharon stared at Swayam,shocked that Taani wasn't actually his cousin.
"Uss din ek anokha Bandhan paida hua mere aur Taani ke beech.Bhai aur Behen ka bandhan.Aur yeh Bandhan khoon ke rishte se bhi gehra hona likha tha."he said again going back to the past.
Doneee!!I know you'll will love the TaaRey part more..but the last part is really special to me.❤️
