Probably it won't reduce confusion but I love your faith in me. (Though you shouldn't trust me one bit)

The first time her eyes fell on that line, she had teared up a little. She didn't fully understand what it meant but the melancholy behind it was obvious.

The slim slip of paper made it to her diary.

^^^
Me, every time someone quotes Auden. I also melt into a puddle of mush and flash heart eyes like a 90s cartoon.

More heart eyes for the song from Amaanat. šŸ˜† Amaanat is one of the troublesome films that I like the Akshay Kumar bits of but dislike the Sanjay Dutt bits of. (I never *got* Sanjay Dutt as a hero, even before his little vacation at Yerwada.)

Anyhoo, coming back to the story, ah, the angsty late-teen years when we simultaneously take the world and ourselves too seriously and then shake our heads over how seriously we're taking everything. When we swing between apathy and caring too much. These little letters and snippets capture these transitions so beautifully!

I am watching this thread cause I am bored and Bertolt Brecht is hurting me with his words and also boredom makes me do stupid things like create another ID and write shit load of fics there.

Auden is going to break my heart into tiny tiny pieces and stitch it back together with his essays. I have resigned to this future.

...And then we grow up and look back and poke fun at ourselves - reminiscing and refusing to label ourselves as typical. I went from "I want to change the world" to "Let the world go to hell" in matter of months. Mood swings, sheesh!

(I watched this movie so many times cause the dialogues were worst. Absolute worst.)

I'm lurking on and off cos I don't want to do important things that I should be doing.

I've been in love with Auden since my ISC years. Which, in today's fickle world, is a long affair. Not the torrid kind though. The kind that you hold close on rainy evenings and quietly hug after exchanging hurtful words.

I am obviously still mentally a teenager because I still can't decide on any one thing for more than 24 hours at a time.

So I did watch Ikke Pe Ikka after our last exchange on this thread and all I want to do is slow clap.

Being fully functioning adult is awesome cause procrastination can be justified with nonsense and bullshit. Auden is very new to me so its all turbulence, loaded exchanges and dreamy eyes. Let's see how that goes.

How about Mr. Bond next?

Haha been there already. I only have Dancer, Nazar Ke Saamne, and Angaarey left from Akshay's 90s filmography.

I am absolutely enjoying this. I have never heard these 90's songs before and the atrocious dance moves really make me cringe!
I love La so much here.
So, ASR doesn't angst but still quotes angsty lines. Interesting!
Waiting for more. :D

Come on. Kasam Se is a good song minus the dance and the absolutely perfect choreography by random people on beach. šŸ˜†

I watched Ranga Khush. šŸ˜‰ Does 20 min count . Googled Atul Agnihotri... who is this guy ?
