Chapter 13

I finished the last of the dishes and then wiped my hands on the little towel. "You done?" I turned around and looked at Angad standing by the door. I smiled and set the towel on the counter. "You didnt sleep yet?" I started to wipe the dishes when he took it from my hands. "Its okay. I'll do it." I didnt want to argue.

"So.." I looked at his calm face as he spoke a few seconds later. "You never told me what happened between you and your mother." My hands stopped and I took a deep breath. With a smile, I started to dry the dishes again. "I didnt see her. She's out of town right now. I'm...I have decided to go back when I'm done with whatever I want to do here."

"And what exactly is that?" I smiled and looked at him. "You'll know when the time comes." He nodded his head and finished up the last plate he was holding. "Good night Angad." I kissed his cheek and started for my room. "Kripa.."

"Yes?" I turned around to look at him. "Thanks." I smiled with a nod and walked to my room.

I closed the door first and then walked to my bed. As I opened up my blanket, I smelled something weird. Like cigarettes. Just a little stronger than that. I walked to my window and saw smoke coming from the back yard. I tried to look harder but didnt figure out who it was. I quickly grabbed my robe and tied it around my waist.

I walked to the backyard and stared at the person sitting on the bench smoking that cigarette. "Sim?" She turned around and looked at me. "What are you doing here Kripa. You should be sleeping." I didnt say anything. "Go away. I wanna be alone right now."

"Sim..why are you doing this?" She turned around to look at me again. "What am I doing?"

"You're just ruining you life."

"And why the **** do you care? Its my life and I'll live it the way I want to live it."

"But youre ruining it for everyone here. For angad, for Sam...and what about Anushka? You just messed up everything, Sim. What kind of a woman are you?" I could see the anger in her eyes. She walked up to me, almost in my face and looked into my eyes. "I'm the kind of woman that can sacrifice anything for the bigger picture. Yes, I ruined her life but had I not, the gang would have broken up. Pieces, thats what it would have been. Sam would have left. Angad cared more about Anu to care about our relationship. Anu was more into Prince. Ronnie and Josh had their own girlfriends to attend. What could I have done? I didnt want this gang to fall apart. It was our life, my life. If that meant I had to send Anu away and end my relationship with Angad then that was what I did."

I stared at her, calmly. "I cannot beleive that you dont realize what a big mistake you have made. You lost Angad. You lost Anu. You lost the gang. Yes, the gang is together today but what does it matter. They dont talk to each other. They dont care about each other. No one cares about you Sim. Even Sam..he hates you. Everyone hates you. Is that what you wanted all your life?"

"Just shut up Kripa. You have no right to judge anyone like that. Especially not me. You've been here for less than a month. I've been here for more than 6 years. Thats how long I've known Angad and everyone else. Only I know how much I care. How much I want them to care. and I dont give a damn about what I have to do to keep this f****** gang together. do you get it? Anything."

I just smiled at her foolishness. "I cant believe you still dont understand. Sim, you have messed up everything here. You separated Anu from this gang. You killed Angad on the inside. He loved you a lot and you just killed every emotion he had for you. You messed up Prince's life. What had he done to you? and Sam. He was perhaps the most innocent one. and you? you took advantage of his love for Anu and then used him to get your way? and Ronnie and Josh. They dont even care anymore. This is what you have done Sim. You just messed up this whole gang."

"NO I DIDNT!!" She screamed as if she didnt want to accept it. "I didnt do anything.." She fell to the ground on her knees and held her hands on her ears. "Just leave me alone!!!" I smiled and then turned around to leave. But stopped for a second and looked at her. "You know what Sim. I dont think you ever loved Angad. If you had. You wouldnt have hurt him like this. I hope your happy now." She just looked at me with those tears falling from her eyes and making their marks on her face. I just simply walked away from there.

I got to the door for the house when I heard someone outside. I turned around and saw Angad standing there. He had his back turned towards me and his face towards Sim. Scared that he heard everything, I just stood there. I continued to see him as he walked towards Sim.

"Angad?" She quickly stood up at his sight. "How dare you?" Before I knew, he slapped her right across her face. "How dare you take my name with you lips."

"Angad please listen to me once."

"I cant believe I loved you at one point in my life and till today I thought I loved you. you still made me care about you but not now. not this time. I hate you Sim." She grabbed his collar and pulled him closer. "I'm sorry Angad. I know I hurt you but I just wanted to.."

He grabbed her wrists and pulled them off his collar. "There is no possible explanation for what you have done to us Sim. I feel disgusted of myself. I cant believe that I was in love with you. You were my everything Sim. You were my first everything. My first crush, my first kiss, my first love, and even my first...I cant believe you let me down so much. Even Kripa is better than you. She doesnt even love me and she cares so much. Besides...you probably never loved me either. Then why? Why did you play with my emotions?"

I continued watching them. I wanted to run to him and tell him that I loved him but I couldnt. I knew he loved her more than anything. But today, he hated her. Atleast thats what I hoped deep down. But still somewhere inside me, I wanted him to settle his differences with Sim because I know he loved her, even today.

Angad's voice pulled me out of my thoughts again. "I never thought this would happen Sim but...I want you to leave. First thing tomorrow morning. I want you to get out of this house and leave me to my state. I'd rather live alone than live with you forever." God! What have I done? I didnt want this to happen. Not if he still loved her. I had to interrupt.

"Angad, stop!" He turned around to look at me, surprised. He didnt expect me to be there. "What are you doing here?" I walked upto them and stood in front of Angad. "Look, I'm really sorry for...I...Angad I know you still love her. Please, dont ask her to leave. I just wanted her to realize her mistake and.." I looked at the sorrow in her eyes. "I think she has. I know there is nothing Sim can do to reverse whatever she has done but..atleast both of you can work together to build everything. Please Angad. Dont give up on this now. You know you need her. I've seen that love for someone in your eyes. and I know that love is for no one else but Sim."

"Kripa but..."

"Please. If you ever cared about me. You'll let her stay." Suddenly, Sim let go of Angad and took a step back. "what do you mean? I thought Angad was in love with..."

"with me? please Sim. That was all a lie. A pretence. I'm sure angad can never forget you. I'm just the stranger. The helpless girl. Nothing else." He just looked at me with surprise. "Please Angad. i hope you listen to me." I smiled and walked away.

I walked into my room and closed the door. Trying to digest whatever had just happened, I burried my face in my hand and when I felt my knees go weak, I just slid down to the floor and pulled my knees closer to me. Angad. I love you...I love you. I wish I could tell you that but I know you dont love me. I just want you to be happy and I know thats with Sim. Please...just never forget me. Thats all I want from you...

Heres the next part. Only about 3-4 parts left to this fanfic. maybe a little more. I told you guys that this was going to be a short fanfic and well im gonna stick to that.

NEXT PART: Kripa visits Anushkha at the hospital and tries to make things better.

well you'll find out about how its gonna end soon. will it be a happy ending? well..you'll have to wait to find out. just to let you know..i dont like happy endings lol theyre too good to be true. so anyways..yes, angad did have a physical relationship with sim. they were in love for years after all. and about kripa making things better for anushka. you'll find out soon..

i mean like AAHHHHHHH god lol this stiry is good!!! i relly like this part!! but its just sad cus Kripa loves him so much!! and Angad loves sim and sim loves him... now i dont think Angad and Kripa can ever be together!!! 😔 for sum reason i dont want them to be together now nywyas!!! i hope things get better for sim and Angad!!!
