Did I just read all that I did? One minute we had Arnav reminiscing about his family and legacy and the next, you are taking us down a path of suspense, intrigue and mystery.

Vijay is up to no good but he did Arnav and Khushi a lot of good. He brought their emotions and relationship to the forefront of this story.

Khushi will be Khushi and the good thing is she knows herself. Given her inquisitive mind, she was not going to rest until she knew what Vijay was upto but you made it thrilling by having Arnav in the scene, and yet not there and there again.

The forest scene was tight. I was sure someone was going to attack Khushi from behind.I could see the thug shaking Vijay.

I could feel Arnav's fear and panic. I could understand what he was going through - when your loved one is missing for longer than you anticipate and under questionable circumstances, I would behave the same way he did. Maybe. Probably. I am just not a great driver to have control of my vehicle even under risky driving.

And OMG! Do I have to say anything about the HOT scene you promised us? I am still recovering 😳

Thank you for the long chapter. I loved it and left me wanting for more (Arnav and Khushi style)

Part 2

Sandhya, this was quite a roller coaster ride... I had my heart lodged in my throat for the better part of this chapter.

Khushi's chance meeting with Vijay at the bank; his suspicious behavior; Khushi's journalist antenna on red alert; the subsequent tailing of Vijay through the narrow, congested streets with Arnav at the wheel of his luxury SUV, had me intrigued and captivated.

Khushi's gutsy yet rash decision to have Arnav drop her off at the periphery of the dark woods had me terrified...She maybe an investigative reporter but to traverse the naxal infested, dense forest without any reinforcements is not only reckless, but, also a risky and unsafe undertaking. Vijay being manhandled by the burly hoodlum had me flinching alongside Khushi, alarmed and petrified for the safety of this young boy.

I along with Arnav was scared witless; heaving a huge sigh of relief on spying Khushi walk out of the dense vegetation safe and sound. I do not blame Arnav for being beyond furious with Khushi for putting herself in harm's way.

The heated argument between Arnav/Khushi, and Arnav airing his displeasure at Khushi's foolhardy bravado, a clear indicator of his deep affection for Khushi. In the heat of the moment he nearly blurts out that he 'loves' her. The ensuing explosion of an all-consuming passion between these two speaks volumes of how deeply they feel for each other.

Who is this bearded, dark ruffian Vijay met in the woods ? Is he a dangerous naxal/drug lord who is using unsuspecting, poverty stricken youth for nefarious activities ? How many innocent children have fallen prey to these unscrupulous criminals ? The mystery deepens...
