Yes, Nathulall! I thought Nandulal sounded a bit odd 😛
Jayeeta, you get Sujata so well🤗I know a lot of people are finding Sujata's attitude difficult to accept (And I understand why because I haven't really shed much light on Sujata's POV yet) but we should not forget that mothers/ parents are human too and just as likely to make mistakes as the rest of us. And just as likely to realize their mistakes and make amends too. As grown up children, we should try to love/ respect them with all their flaws and shortcomings. Realizing your parents are not those perfect beings you thought they were as children is a part of growing up. SF is mainly a story about perspectives and self growth and I've definitely not forgotten either Sujata or Lavanya. Their stories are far from over :) I would love to hear other readers' POV on this topic :)Originally posted by: tuli_jayee
First of all Jen, thank you for such an awesome & looong update . BTW, I am telling you, I am reading this update without any PM.While I was reading the update, I was feeling like this chapter should not end. It should go on & on & on like this forever.
Yes, I was a bit upset since nobody - like Anita or anybody else attended the wedding. But then it's ok, With emotions running high, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding . & after crossing such a long, bumpy way together , they are finally getting married to each other & that too amidst such a natural beauty, who wants a grand wedding? I am simply happy that they are finally married. The detailed description of mundane activities , or their road journey, their marriage, the scenic beauty, the wedding rituals - as if everything was happening in front of my eyes. I simply loooved the updateIt requires time & Khushi's mother would come around too. & May be then she can again demand a re-wedding of Arshi (she missed the first one nah, that's why) . See Jen, Navin is a practical person , so obviously he has full trust on his daughter & gave them a thumbs up to this marriage without their absence. But, on Sujata's part - lets put ourselves in her shoe. Consider this story is not about Arshi (whom we can relate) . Consider this story about two strangers who happened to meet by chance in Srinagar & slowly & gradually falls in love with each other. Now coming to Sujata - she has brought up her two daughters with utmost care & imbibed in them her strong principles. One day she finds out her elder daughter is in love with a man who is going through a divorce procedure with his ex-wife. Yes, this man is known to her through her sister-in law & she & this man's mother were like bestest friend. But Sujata doesn't know this man personally. When confronted, her daughter admits that she loves this man genuinely & tries to convince her for their relationship. She was coming to terms with this fact , suddenly sister of the ex-wife came barging into their home accusing her daughter as the cause of the ex-wife's suicide. So, can anybody blame her the way she reacted ? Being reader, we are seeing every angle of every characters & are not acting judgemental. But, Sujata is seeing everything from her angle only. She doesn't know Arnav's story or Lavanya's story for that matter. So, lets give her some more time to wrap her mind around this entire thing. Behind her anger is the fight between her mind & heart, whether to hold on her principles or let go of them, how to accept Khushi's decision . She is hurting tooBut, let's not dwell on Sujata , let us enjoy Arshi magic.I am happy that you at least fulfilled one of my wishes - making Lavanya move on with Neville - I am happy for them. But what about my Anu . I want something extremelyyy special for Anu.Again, Jenny, thank you for the awesome chappy. As the story is nearing its end , I am getting more upset day by day.
