Dearest Jigs
True revelations, that is what this update was about - seeped in between their confessions and declarations. You hid them well. J
It began with silence (my absolute favorite) and where words failed, tears set them free. Her pain set him free to declare. And like the two souls in love, they found their connections through pains and tears. His tears set her free to affirm their love. You have shown these through her acceptance of her home, through her ability to let go, lose control and accept her own self and in the process accept them as one unit.
This transformation you show here, is not possible if they did not realize their own selves within, made peace with it... or at least come to terms with it. He, with his father's betrayal and she, with her mother's. But more than that, to me, it was their acceptance of their insufficiencies that set these revelations in motion.
But Albert Camus says it best:
In the midst of hate, I found there was, within me, an invincible love.
In the midst of tears, I found there was, within me, an invincible smile.
In the midst of chaos, I found there was, within me, an invincible calm.
I realized, through it all, that...
In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.
And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there's something stronger - something better, pushing right back.
Bridges to that safe space they shared in their past, they rebuilt, alongside their passions and desires through lambent fires that roared in their veins next to their fire places. J You are indeed the best when it comes to writing intimacy. There is grace in your erotica that I seldom find, and a raw honesty that is quite rare. The combination is simply poetry!
This update, to me, was love through and through in its most inexplicable, enigmatic best and who am I to object! "Nothing is mysterious, no human relation. Except love." - Susan Santog.
👏 Take a bow dearest Writerji. You made me think today.
