This page of the book was such a pleasant read.
I love the initiative of bringing the kids to work concept and what I am more glad about is the fact that it's being taken up not just as a mere formality but as an important responsibility. There's a need in all 4 of them to see the next generation evolve as successfully as them.
I loved the way little Akki and Akash were dressed up. The site of the kids dressed up as their favourite men was a delight to read. That little part wherein Arnav proposes to retire from the job alongwith Akash was hands down my favourite part.
Arnav and Khushi have worked hard to bring back the lost equilibrium in their relationship. Their desire to be with each other speaks volumes about how beautifully they have healed the wounds caused by their dispassionate ignorance. They have finally understood the need to stay together and resolve through the issues. The comfort and ease of communication which had faded with time seems to be back because discussing about Krabs, especially after that night, wouldn't have been so effortlessly easy. Also, talking about kids would have been taxing otherwise.
Their yearning for a child of their own is unmistakable and I am glad they have decided to adopt a baby and give themselves a chance at tasting the forbidden fruit.
Dr.Roshni seems to be a person helping them with the process, an angel in disguise sorts.
Waiting for the next part.
Update soon. 😊
P.s : Will it be foolish to expect them to have a kid of their own? I am l, undoubtedly, happy with the adoption but then there is this selfish me who would want to see them go through every phase of becoming parents right from the conceiving phase. I believe, these two especially, deserve it.
