"We need to talk..." Do we really have to? Thanks to you, talk feels so overrated. Especially when emotions and feelings can more than convey, what even words and talk cannot.

Given the significance of the day, silence and loneliness are understandably the obvious companions. How can there not be a sense of doom when you are becoming the shield for the persons who were supposed to be shielding you? She becoming the reason for their families anguish is justified in this case. For all the pleading and urging this time, justifiably coming from the other end, I really think this time, she needs to deal with it on her own preset timeline.

It is really a funny pair that we have here - for the problems on his family side, she is the in between go to person and for the problem on her side, he became the in between go to person. Enmity of the family kind is always a hard one to keep.

Going home was a much needed destination point for them but why do I feel some of your personal travel woes were woven into the story😉. Glad to have distractions like Sidhu who are always a welcome blessing.

Pheras was a nice nostalgic touch. The good thing about them is that they come in a pair of 7's and they have a way of keeping themselves intact as long you take care of one😃.

Lastly, I cannot finish without saying how thoroughly I enjoyed your little experiment. I guess I have reached that stage with your writing where it's all about the leap rather than logic.

Jigs, your visualisation of every scene and the reactions of every character is just amazing.

Silence, is what the interlude was all about.

This was the much required silence before the talks start between Arnav and Khushi.

This was the much required silence for Khushi after her confrontation with her mother after years of silent sufferings and hurt.

This was the silence needed to accept that Pari was and will always be a part of their lives.

Jigs, your vision to not make Khushi talk to her parents in the morning after their heavy confrontation last night was just perfect, as now if they start apologising for their faults and try to mend relationships, it would feel artificial.

Let time take its course, let their actions speak louder than words, let Khushi realise that they have indeed changed and then they asking for forgiveness will have meaning to their words.

I am not sure if you would cover all these aspects in this story, but one can hope that down the lane, in a few years, Khushi and her parents' relationship is atleast close to normal and hopefully Payal also would have realised her foolishness and her faults and would make a better human being and a better mother in future years.

One need not give birth to a child to be called a mother. Khushi is better than many women who call themselves mothers including her own mother. Even having all her inner turmoils, she still spoke to Sidhu, showed him the airplane on face time and like always showered him with unconditional love.
Irrespective of whether Arnav and Khushi have kids of their own or not, I hope the relationship Sidhu shares with his Zio and Zia will always be this close and filled with pure, unconditional love.

The renewal of their saat phere vows as they climbed the stairs leading to their house, hope this renewal would mark a new beginning in their lives. Hope the next chapter of their lives will be filled with more communication, more understanding each other and more love and trust.

Hoping that its uphill from here onwards, waiting for the sun to gradually shine on their lives.

Jigs I am so very sorry. I have never been this late, have I? And I this is totally wrong from my part. So please don't mind, I am really sorry!!

Jigs with every chapter, I feel very close to this story and arshi. They both are so realistic and truthful without any pretenses. I really adore them. This update was the much needed calmness after the highly suffocating storm. Yes, you spoke too many words with your silence.

Silence is really the most powerful scream, isn't it? I do wish her parents give her the much needed space she is asking for. I am glad though Arnav is silent, he is her pillar of strength through her weakness.

The revival of their vows stunned, the otherwise talkative me, to silence. Though I am too young, I do know the meaning of the vows and their significance, since I have read it. You had so very poetically linked their immature vow to their mature life. They have reached a point where they know what to expect out of their life and how to steer their course which has too many hurdles and glitches. Every vow was menaifully taken and you had very creatively blended it with this part, rather than making it look like a stand out part.

So, with both on their mission to flood light into dark, I just wish the path uphill will be smooth. Maybe stony, but together I think they will bypass it. And yes, even I am yearning for this Pari. I beg you, please give them their Angel. I just imagine of a day when they will hold their Angel and the joy that will engulf them. Khushi is really the mother a kid will want and same for Arnav. Their relation with Siddhu is a testimony.

Hoping for better times,
$adh!

...

What a beautiful narration of the seven rounds. 👏

You have given an indepth meaning of that ritual.

I really couldn't understand the behavior of Avni, what was her intention for calling Khushi repeatedly? Doesn't she know that Khushi would need time? The guilt in her might be eating her up...but, being a doctor and a mother she should know better.

I hope they take one step at a time to overcome the barrier and mend thier relationship like they used to be.

Both realised that, they cannot live without the other.

What is instore for them?

Anxiously waiting for you to unfold more...

Dear Jigs, sorry for the late unres.

What to say? Every one has so eloquently responded to the very thought provoking interlude and I don't have anything new to add. except that i learnt many lessons from it :)

That all relationships..parent/child, husband/wife/, aunt/uncle, friends, siblings, in laws... are two way streets. You have to give, in order to receive and vice versa.

That it is important to step back and introspect and see what you have done or not done in a particular situation or relationship so as to move forward and not remain in the same place.

That it is important to stand up at an appropriate time to let the person or people know how you feel. Bottling up emotions and feelings can drag you down to bottomless pits.

That silence and words are equally important. Just like white space and text/ visuals on a page.

That even if you are down in the dumps, there are people you need you and your smile, care, warmth and sensitivity towards them can make all the difference to them and your relationship.

That for all of us who took those seven vows or will in the future, we must revisit them on a regular basis and build on the foundation of marriage we committed to.

I'm sure there are many more and i will read and re read this particular chapter again and again.

Thank you Jigs for writing it so well without any dramatics and hoop la.

Stay blessed.

Oh my god. Jigs, I can't begin to tell you how much I loved this update.
All through this chapter, I was on the edge of crying. It was such a roller coaster. One minute they were upset and the next they were right beside each other.

If such love existed in today's world, I would be so happy. This forgivable, undying love and trust is so hard to see. Even though they went through so many ups and downs in their relationship, the one thing that was constant was their trust, in each other and their relationship.
I'd like to believe that no matter what stage of their drowning relationship they were in, there was hope, somewhere in the back of their minds and depths of their hearts, there was an existing hope.

This hope has now only transformed into a "what if" now. And if they can work on this hope then they definitely can work on the "what if" as well.

Khushi has been portrayed as one hell of a woman. You love empowering your female protagonists, don't you? First Stripped and now Revealed as well. She is so strong. Not picking up her parents calls or responding to their cries even though she could feel the guilt surge through her system, its not easy. Because at the end of the day, no matter how they had treated her, they were her parents.

I love how Arnav and Khushi always look out for their Pari when they're flying. It's the one thing that took them away from each other but also the one of the only things that keeps them together. How ironical, no?

I can't wait for them to work on their relationship now. I'm looking forward to the next chapter so badly. One of my most awaited chapters.

Don't make us wait for too long please, Jigs!!! 🤢

And we hope to get something similar to "the shaadi special" of Stripped for Revealed as well. We're going to miss your writing so much Jigs. Pleaseee give us a sequel type of thing.

Interlude indeed Jigs👏 not just for the story but for the readers aswell. We all need to step back, take a break from our otherwise monotonous life and revive those seven vows the way this couple have done. Marvelous job. This was exceptionally done well.👍🏼
Khushi's state was like the state of the dam that was overburdened with the force of water and was ready to break at any given time and when it breaks it floods away the region destroying everything including itself as a structure. But then if the gates are not opened in time it will destruct everything with point of no return and the same happened to Khushi. Her gates were opened. Her pent up emotions gave away releasing her from the in built pressure because its easy to repair something when it broken but how can one even rebuild it after destruction?

Your Khushi is still a person with positive attitude👏 Despite being at her worst she still is able to enjoy that rain and with her Sid.

I am glad that Arnav too is now in thinking mode. No more blame game as when things go wrong between couple whether we like it or not its not his or her mistake its their mistake. Both acknowledging it and then trying to work on it shows their strength just not as a couple but also as a human being.

Jigs, your way of conveying the story is really unique. Loved how you compared the travel with his monotonous life. The subtle gestures of holding Khushi, just giving her time and just being there says it loud and clear. That passing of a pill without a word.👏 👏

There is so much in the chapter to grab that I may come back reread it again and comeup with more here. Its not possible as a reader to just read it once and give a feedback in one sitting.
(A rarity on my end for sure)

PS- Choti - the banner is perfect. The sunlight trying to come out of darkness👍🏼
