The first shoots of spring is exactly what this chapter felt of. As your befitting epigraph says, turning the page, to rejoice in the beauty lying beyond. Embracing it and allowing the sunlight peering out from behind the clouds to warm your pallid, winter ravaged skin.
You could feel the "spring in Khushi's step" as she walked towards her office. Her eagerness to rush through her day so that she can go home to her Arnav. I loved how you put it here, "connect her to him in a matter of seconds". That's just how their relationship feels now. Their happy teasing banter was so adorable. The impatience, the need, to be with the other leaping out in every word.
Lavanya and Aman are simply the best. The way they understand and support Arnav and Khushi is exemplary. It's what true friendship should always be about. An honest love, a genuine desire to want the best for your friend. And Arnav opening up with Kabir was wonderful for Khushi.
Arnav's "I miss you..." to Khushi, just hits you coming as it did straight from the heart. It resounded with the remnants of all that they had been through.
I loved the way you showed both Arnav and Khushi think again of wanting a child of their own. It's when you're happy in your own skin and in your relationship with your spouse that you can start thinking of bringing someone in your world. That tear in Arnav's eye just makes you want to weep ...
The adorable Akhil and Aakash tug at your heartstrings with their sheer cuteness. You capture their mischievousness so well. Worthy recipients of the love their Chachu and Masi shower on them!
And your mischievousness is no less! Totally giving us heart attacks with Khushi and Arnav's mock seriousness at being angry with the other when he got home. You most certainly "Gotcha" us! Waise, was the earlier rediscovering of flat surfaces around the house as interesting as this reunion ... just asking ... cause as a fully signed up member of the revealazzi I need to know ;)
But them speaking about a child of their own at the end was the most moving part for me. It was the poignancy of both of their feelings as they voiced them that touched me. The boundless love that they have to offer will never be limited only to a child borne of them. And you have shown this time and again in this story.
