Chapter 6

Smiling Rajveer greets her "Dr. Shalini!" and embraces her into a warm hug. Change in Dr. Shalini's voice indicates that how deeply she is attached to Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat. "Hmmm... So kaisi hain aap?" asks Captain Rajveer. "Ji main bilkul theek hun!" replies Dr. Shalini, her voice still not stable. Rubbing off her last tear, "haan wo to dikh hi raha hai" says Captain Rajveer, and smiles. "Captain!", blushes Dr. Shalini, and rubs off her tears. "Anyways Captain, mujhey ye duty di gayi thi ki aap jaise hi aayein, apko kaha jaye ki first year students se aap mil lein aur unhe zara rules bata dein yahan ke. Although rules ki hard copy unhe already dey di gayi thi, admit letters ke saath, but you know since unke liye ye life bilkul new hai so thoda co-operate karna padhega unke saath", says Dr. Shalini. "Ji Dr. Shalini", replies Captain Rajveer, politely. "Hmm... But one question - so this year, how are you going to be like to your students - strict or friendly?" asks Dr. Shalini. "Or a mixture?" replies Rajveer. Smiling Dr. Shalini says "Yeah" "Well wo to depend karta hai students pe, ki wo kaise hain, nahi ?" "Right. Oh han ye file hai iss mein new students ke information hain". Taking the file, he smiles. "Alright Captain I'll take your leave now", says Dr. Shalini. Captain Rajveer and Dr. Shalini smile at each other then Dr. Shalini leaves for her work.

After an hour

An orderly informs all the cadets that Captain Rajveer wants to meet them all. As he informs this to Naina and Pooja, Pooja exclaims, clapping her hands and jumping simultaneously "O teri Shah Rukh milna chahta hai! Tu chal main aati hun" she says to the orderly. The orderly leaves. Naina creases her brows thinking that at last she is going to see him.

After getting ready Pooja calls Naina "Oye jaldi chal warna Shah Rukh gussa ho jayega". "Tum ye Shah Rukh! Shah Rukh! Kyu kar rahi ho? Tumne unhe dekha hai kya? Bina dekhe kaise keh sakti ho ki wo Shah Rukh ki tarah hai bhi ya nahi!", she asks her rather to know if there is any picture of Captain Rajveer online, which she has missed to look at, than to know if he really looks like Shah Rukh or not."Naina sapna! Sapna dekhne mein kya burai hai? Kuch expect karne mein kya burai hai?" Naina starts thinking about what Pooja said. She is also here to fulfill her motive, which is still like a dream to her. "Pooja tu ja main abhi aati hun", she tells Pooja and Pooja leaves. Naina starts thinking 'mera bhi ek sapna hai - Bhaiya ko insaaf dilana'. She goes into a deep thinking, after some moments she realizes she is getting late. She decides to quickly wash her face, to fresh up and join Pooja and other cadets. She gets into the washroom and starts washing her face. As she gets out of the washroom, it gets dark because of electricity failure. "Uuf ab iss light ko kya ho gaya. Mujhe baal bandhna tha" says Naina, getting irritated.

Suddenly someone enters her room. Naina turns back and looks towards the door "Kaun?" she asks. Her voice makes him to stop. Dr. Shalini's words come into his mind "So this year how are you going to be like to your students - strict or friendly?" Remembering her words, make him to smile, as a result a prank comes into his mind. "This is your first task cadet" says Captain Rajveer, using his authoritative voice."Sir!" replies Naina, all ready for performing the task at her best. "Search for your uniform bag, carry it and bring it to where I am standing" orders Rajveer. He knew that the bag is heavy for a new cadet to lift, but it won't harm her. Naina searches for her luggage, not fully familiar with the room, makes her to stumble in the darkness. As a result she hurts her left knee, but doesn't complain. Feeling concerned Rajveer asks, "Are you okay Cadet?" Naina holds the bed post, for support, but she tries hard to keep away the shakiness from her voice."Yes Sir!" she manages to reply.

But Rajveer's experience tells him that she is lying. "It's okay Cadet. Let's just forget the task for now, come..." as Rajveer was about to speak further, Naina interrupts him. "I am fine Sir. Main itni kamzor nahi ki ek choti si chont se darr jaun. Mere iraadey itne kamzor nahi Sir". Her determination brings a smile on Rajveer's face. "Alright Cadet, I'll take your leave now" saying this Captain Rajveer leaves, without giving her chance to reply.

Cool intro!

I'm so happy to read a story with the original storyline! With KMA , the Indian Army, the Cadets and army related plots! OH! And of course Rajveer and Naina!

I'm a big LRL fan and reliving that story (slightly different maybe) from the start, but with more focus on RN will be an absolute pleasure! 👍🏼

I like your style of writing. You have described the scenes very well! And focused on the thoughts and feelings of the protagonist! Really good yaar!👏

Abhi toh Naina kay dimag main kya chal raha hai uski zhalak mili hai... Now I cannot wait to see how you make Rajveer's entry. Cannot wait to see things from his PoV.

Btw was that guy, she spotted in the party, actually our Dear Captain?😉

So Raj suddenly barges into the girls hostel to test Cadet Singh?😆 So we have a Prankster Rajveer on our hands, do we?😉

Nice plot and story but I thought you may be going slightly fast with the latest updates. A little more explanation about 'who does what and why' maybe? 😊

And are you editing your updates beech beech main?😉

I got a bit confused, thats why...😆... The idea in your head is great, the story seems good! But It would be marvellous if you could work on the rate that your story is progressing and be a bit more explanative.

Like your story, Do go on and update soon!👍🏼

@passiflora4eva You want to know what everyone does? Trust me I have that in my mind. I am going fast because my readers wanted to see their chemistry. I would say just wait n see how the story unfolds. 😊 Although I m using the original theme here but since my focus is on THE RELATIONSHIP of Rajveer and Naina so I guess you'll get more updates on them 😊

Talking about my edits, I don't get much time to write but I love writing so I try to provide my readers at least a little to read each day. Sometimes it happens I give a very little update, so the next time I update I continue from where I ended. If I don't do it, might be possible you'll feel that I didn't give a good ending to the last part. 😉

THROUGH THIS POST I AM ADDRESSING TO EVERYONE 😊

And when I said 'who does what and why' I meant whichever character you are focusing on.
Meaning mainly Our dear darlings Raj and Naina... not all the other characters yaar... 😛
Because I love the fact that your entire focus is on RN... (-^_^-) it's so perfect!
It is a pleasure reading your story and you should continue how ever you are comfortable 😊
