Part 10

" Ma'am you will have to attend today's meeting with AR." said Anita, although she knew that Khushi was going to kill her with her angry looks and that was what turned into stark reality the next moment.

" Didn't I tell you Anita, I will not attend any meeting with AR?" questioned Khushi, as she looked up from her laptop screen.

" But Ma'am, we need the CEO's of both the companies for this meeting. It is a must. I cannot do anything." said Anita, while clutching the files in her tightly as she was scared that a panic attack will take over her.

" Chance of any replacements?" asked Khushi, while typing away on her laptop furiously.

"Only Shashi Sir can replace you in the meeting, Ma'am. And it is not possible because we cannot have a flight reaching here so fast." explained Anita, while Khushi threw sarcastic looks to Anita and continued typing on the laptop.

" Arrange the meeting. I will be reach there by 7 PM." said Khushi, with no expressions visible on her face.

" If they both have a fight, then why to torture me and the employees with these continuous meetings and calls." thought Anita, as she left the room to prepare the room for meeting.

Conference,

" Anita, why don't you close the door?" asked Khushi, as she saw Anita making arrangements so that the door doesn't close.

" Ma'am actually if the door closes, we need someone to open it from outside because it will be locked from inside." said Anita, while placing a rock kind of a thing near the door so it doesn't get shut by air.

"And you didn't get it repaired? Till now?" questioned Khushi angrily while Anita trembled in fear.

" Ma'am you will get it repaired by the next meeting. Actually we found the problem today morning and the carpenter was busy so we couldn't get it done." said Anita, while shivering mildly.

" Fine, but do not let this happen again." warned Khushi, while moving towards the head of the table to be seated there while Arnav walked in, but not as the flirtatious Raizada but as ASR, the Arrogant Smart and Ruthless CEO of AR, mush to Khushi's shock.

AR's team followed Arnav and took their respective seats. While the team lead, Anita started speaking about the project Khushi felt Arnav's gaze just on her.

" Someone said it all right! Laathon Ke Bhoot Baaton Se Nahi Mante!" thought Khushi while cursing Arnav inwardly while Arnav who was eyeing Khushi intently had a hard time controlling himself from bursting into fits of laughter.

The meeting went down smoothly and Khushi was surely proud of Anita, who was not just her general manager but an amazing Team Lead. Everyone showered words of appreciation on Khushi as they went past Anita after the meeting was adjourned and Khushi couldn't stop herself from complimenting Anita.

" Very well done, Anita. The Gupta Designs is extremely proud of an employee as efficient as you are. Keep the good work up." praised Khushi, much to Anita's happiness.

As Khushi went to take her phone back, Arnav who was right there pulled her on himself.

" Do you remember that we had proposed a one-option deal for you, Miss Khushi Gupta?" asked Arnav as the morning he remembered the past conversation with Khushi which she pointed out that 2 of the biggest clients of Raizadas are due to Guptas, and for them to not leave Raizadas, there needs to be a relationship in between Guptas and Raizadas.

" You know my answer. Even if it is the last option in this world, I would not marry you, Mr.Raizada?" said Khushi while pushing him away from her and walking past him to leave the room when Arnav closed the door shut to stop her from leaving the room.

" You will have to listen to me, Khushi." said Arnav, while leaning towards her as his breath washed over her nape but she furiously pushed him away.

" Do you know what you just did? You just locked us inside this room! This door will not open till someone from outside opens it and why will anyone even come to the last floor of the building without any reason? You are such a disaster in my life, Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada! Yesterday we got stuck up in the lift and today we are stuck in this conference room, for probably this whole night. God!" Khushi exclaimed while pacing to and fro in the room.

" Khushi, relax. You will not die here. There are lights, Air conditioners, food, water and literally everything you need to survive." Arnav said while trying to hold her by her shoulders but it was of no avail as Khushi jerked his hand and started pacing again.

" Who cares? My main point is I, Khushi Gupta is stuck up with you, Arnav Singh Raizada for the whole night. Gods know how will I survive this." Khushi said while reminiscing his flirting with her and she felt as if he will not let this opportunity to go waste.

" Chillax Khushi. I will not eat you up." said Arnav, who was hurt at Khushi's opinion about him.

" As if you aren't already eating me up." remarked Khushi in confusion, unknown what effect her words had on Arnav.

" Really?" asked Arnav, with a suggestive smirk on his face which a tensed Khushi, who was looking for signal on her phone, couldn't understand.

" See, I am trying to think of ideas here and you are eating my head by pestering me. Does your phone have signal? This stupid Vodafone never has a signal." cursed Khushi, with a pout while it managed to turn his thoughts even more naughty with the kissable pout.

" Since even my Service Provider is Vodafone, I doubt it baby. But now since we are stuck here why don't we utilize this time for something fruitful..." questioned Arnav as innocent as ever.

" What do you mean by something fruitful?" questioned Khushi, as her brain started interpreting his suggestive words but she wanted to reconfirm herself.

" Like..." murmured Arnav, while loving towards Khushi with intensely desire filled caramel pools which made Khushi's breaths halt and take a step backward. It wasn't long before she found herself against the wall, with their breaths mingling and gazes clashing.

" Like??" Khushi let out a question in a breathless voice, which made sure that Arnav regret the size of his trousers.

Arnav placed his hands on either sides of Khushi's face and leaned towards her while whispering on her lips, as their lips almost brushed,

" Like this..."

Suddenly the door opened with a start, revealing a shocked Lavanya to the lost couple which brought them back to earth from the land of romantic fantasies. Arnav immediately straightened himself up while distancing himself from Khushi while Khushi looked every where except for Lavanya, whose eyes were now filled with tears.

It was not at all easy to forget a person whom once she loved more than himself and it was a fact that she still felt for Arnav, no matter how much she hates him for using her for his revenge. And seeing her own sister romancing her ex-beau whom she still was madly in love with was, heartbreaking.

On the other hand, Arnav was assured that the conference room would now turn into a conflict arena.

What will be Lavanya's reaction?

Awesome update. Loving Arshi's little fights and cute romance. Oh My...!! Why did Lavanya arrived at the time of their almost kiss?! Will she hurt Khushi by her words? Looking forward for the next update.
