NOTE:
Hi readers I just realised that there is an issue with part 4 of the AR version..that is the part of Armaan and Rahul's conversation has been cut which is a very important part of the story...so I have posted the edited version...pls do read it and comment :) ~Armaan and Ridhima's Bedroom~
As Armaan walked into the bedroom to wake Ridhima up he was surpsied to see her awake already and moreover the room was still pitch dark. That really shocked him because it was so not like Rush to stay in the dark. She was not only scared of the dark but also felt suffocated if she was left alone in the dark. she was sitting on the bed with her back resting against the bedpost staring blakly into space, she did not even notice nikhil come in...true she was not crying but the pain and helplessness in her eyes was seen by him even in the dark. His eyes turned moist just by looking at her pathetic and misserable condition. He too was saddened by her miscarriage after all he too had lost his child but somehow he controlled himself as he knew that right now Rush needed him the most. Thus, with a determined mind and taking a deep sigh he walked towards the curtains and opening them completely said in a chirpy voice "Good Morning My Princess...I did not know your up already".The very moment he opned the curtains Ridhima turned her face and shut her eyes due tonthe sudden light and also beacause of the fact that she did not want to sit in the light. Armaan walked towards her and bending down pecked her forhead lightly and the sat infront of her caressing her cheeks he spoke "hey beautiful!! You slept well?" Ridhima did not reply anything and just kept Her eyes shut...Armaan sighed deeply he understood by her reaction that she wanted to stay in the dark but he was also determined to get her out of her shell. So he tried once more "Ridhima, open your eye sweetheart..see it such a beautiful day and..." He was cut short by her loud scream "I dont want to look at this beautiful day, I dont want anything, just leave me alone and close the curtains this light is making me feel restless...its suffocating me Armaan ...I just want to be alone, " she said with a fresh bout of tears and a lot of pain in her voice. Armaan wanted to just hide her in his arms but he knew that right now she would just push away. He wanted to explain to her that whatever happywas not her fault but he was aware of the fact that she would not listen to anything at the moment and so giving her one last glance he got up from the bed, closed the curtains and was about the exit but he turned towards her one last time and said in a low voice "Ridhima , stop punishing yourself for something that you do not deserve to be punished for...I know you are hurt aby but by staying aloof you are just making things worse" she did not say anything, disappointed he left the room. The moment he left Ridhima began to cry..."I am sorry Armaan ...i really am but I am so sacred that younwill leave me and I dont have the stamina for another heart break...I...I cant..." She was hurt and depressed. She wanted Armaan to be with her but she was scared what if she allows him to get close and he leaves her...she feared the worse and wanted to stay away from everything that could hurt her. She had become like a vulnerable child who tries to stay away from all the things that could hurt him or her.
~Terrace~
After leaving Ridhima in the room Armaan came to the terrace and the tears that stung his eyes finally flowed freely on his cheeks..."why Ridhima , why are you pushing me away... How do I tell you baby that i live you so much that I cant even think of living without you so how can I possibly leave you...pls understand sweetheart..." He cried and cried till his teras dried up. He sat by the parapet staring at the wide landscape infront of him his mind however was too occupied for him to admire the beauty of nature. He remembered the past few days and his heart felt an unknown pain, he remeebred last night, Ridhima's breakdown and of course today morning..."what can I do to get her out of her shell, she does not even want to talk to me" he was fruyand kept thinking for a way when he remeebred that Dr. Sharma advised him to show her to a psychiatrist...he immediately removed his cellphone from his pocket and dialed his very close friend Dr. Rahul's number who also happened to be on of the best psychiatrist In the country. After a few ribgs Rahul finally picked up his cell "he buddy whats up? Long time ha...how are you and how is Ridhima " he heard Rahul's cheerful voice from the other end if the phone..."Rahul" he chocked on his voice..."Armaan?? What happens bro? Why are you upset?? Armaan say something" gaining some courage he narrated the whole incident to Rahul "I need you Rahul, Ridhima needs you pls pls come here" said Armaan . "Armaan listen to me carefully...Ridhima is going through a bad phase of depression and at the moment she wont even tell a doctor whats in her heart, we normally do not suggest unless needed but I suggest we start her with anti depressants...we need to get her out of her shell Armaan onky then will she talk about her insecurities which is the only cure there is to treat her, I am messaging you the name and doage of the medicine, you just make sure you give it to her regularly and normally such patients dont take these medicines they try their best to get rid Of them so i suggest that you dont give it ti ger directly, mix it in her food or milk ir whatver but make sure she does nit miss a dose...you get it?" Said Rahul. "Yes Rahul...you message me...i will do anything to get my Ridhima " after thanking rahul Armaan kept the phone and waited for Rahul's messge which came within a few seconds he wrote down the name of the medicine on a peace of paper and send John their house helper to get the medicine...he wanted to start the medicines asap, he could no longer see his love so hurt and broken...he was determined to do anything and everything that he could for her...
~3days latter~
It had been three days since Armaan had started giving Ridhima the anti depressants and like rahul said he nevr gave them directly he made it a point to mix it with her milk and though she had lost her appetite she was forced to eat a litke and drink milk before sleeping by Armaan and though she wanted to refuse whole heartedly but his numerous attempts made her agree. It was around 1 am and Ridhima was sleeping in her room while Armaan was sitting in the living room staring blankly at the televison which was showcasing some program he had never seen...but he was least bothered as he was busy thinking about Ridhima ...it had been 3days since she was talking those pills but she still seemed to be in her shell...the only good thing to happen was that she would at least sleep better than before...ever since her miscarriage she seemed to have become an insomniac but thankfully the medicines gave her some sort of sleep and that if not happy at least gave him a little satisfaction but otherwise he was still waiting for her to get out of her shell and speek to him...she still tried to stay away from him and that hurt him the most...he was lost in his thoughts when he felt a feather like touch on his shoulder, he immediately turned around and was shocked beyond words to see Ridhima standing there. It took him a minute to register what is happening and the moment he did he stood up from the sofa and asked her concerned "Ridhima ?? Sweetheart what are you doing here?? I thougt you were sleeping??" She hesitated for a moment and then spoke in an almost inaudible voice "I...I was sleeping but I woke up." Her voice was like music to his ears, after the morning incident 3 days back this was the first time she spoke something...he kept on starring at her while she fumbled with her hands...they stood silently for a fee moment and then Armaan finally broke the silence "do you want me to get you something?? So that you sleep??" He asked but she very gently shook her head while her eyes remained casted on the floor. Armaan waited for a few more minutes but she ddi not say anything...he sighed deeply and was about to turn when he heard her say in a very meek voice "can I lie down on your lap???actually I...I" she fumbled for words while Armaan's happiness knew no bounds...she wanted to lie down on his lap, she wanted to be with him.. He was so happy and with a million dollar smile replied "of course you can my princesses, you don't need anybody's permission for that not even mine and you dont need to think for a reason sweetheart...come" he lead her to the sofa and sat on the far end whith a pillow on his lap, she quitely went and layed down and held his right hand tightly against her heart. He was so happy to see her like that...maybe slowly but the shell around her was surely braking...he kept caressing her hair but even after half an hour when she was still awake he became a little concerned then it struck his mind that she was sleeping before and she said that she woke up but he was so happy to see her close to himself that he did not bother asking why she got up...he looked at her in his lap, she was playing with his fingers...he gently kissed her forhead and thats when she looked up "what happened to my princess?? Why isn't she sleeping ha??? He asked with utmost love and concern in his voice...Ridhima kept staring at him but did not reply so he gently caressed her face with his knuckes and aksed hee again "what happened baby?? Awhile ago also you woke up?? Did u see a bad dream??" She just looked down at after hearing his question and tightened her hold around his hand , her gesture gave him his answer and he once gain bend down and kissed her forhead letting his lips linger for a litle while..."its okay baby!! It was just a dream...I am right here with you okay...do you want to tell me what your dream was about.???" He asked her while she just shook her head with a lone tear slipping off from her eyes, which he wipped off instantly "its okay!! Dont tell me I wont force you to...you just close your eyes and sleep...you need to rest baby??? I am right here with my princess" he said looking directly into her eyes...she looked deep into his eyes which conveyed nothing but love and honesty...he kept careessing her hair and mumbling sweet niothings to make her sleep and his soothing touch did wonders as within a few minutes she was in deep slumber however she kept his hand locked with hers. Once that she had slept he kept on starring at her face, unlike the past few days she looked so calm...his heart did a small summer sault as finally the ice was melting...
NOTE: hello dear readers I am sure you all are shocked with this sudden update!! Well to be every honest so am I :p...I know you guys have waited very patiently for this update and I am so thankful for that!! Okay now just being practical...pls don't expect updates this fast:p this was just because I was too bored and thanks to the rain I had nothing to do...finally thank u so much readers for Your wonderful Comment cuz be it good or bad feedback always encourages me to write so people pls pls do comment...cuz Nahi to I feel you people have not liked the story at all *pout*...So pls read and do give your comments...lots of love---Tani!!
