Dear readers,

Thank you so much for your feedback, really appreciate your interest and investment in this story :) I'm sorry I'm not able to thank all of you individually but believe me I'm eternally grateful for your readership, patience and kindness.This note is to inform that I'm going away on a vacation and will be back first week of May. Chapter 46 (Teaser)

Journeys and Destinations.



It was beautiful outside with the sun making an appearance after a week of continuous rains. The raindrops clung indecisively to the leaves and branches, catching sunlight in their tiny universes.


Sunshine filtered in from the open window as Khushi sat in front of the upright piano, absentmindedly trying out a tune that'd stuck to her mind after hearing on TV.


Still recovering from Flu, she was asked to rest while Isha and Anita scurried about in the adjoining dining room, setting the table. Unknown to her, they set an extra plate for the expected guest from New Jersey that Manohar had gone to the Railway Station for.

well..well.. what an inetersting update.

Great chapter! Wow Arnav was hurting a lot and hence punishing khushi so she's hurting too. His words were so mean and cruel. Especially comparing her to lavanya. Now that was a low. But by hurting her like this he is just distancing her from himself. I hope he does have a look through all her messages she sent him.

Looking forward to the next update.

after your vacation, you are bringing Arnav back with you, so enjoy this vaction to your heart content..

This was as painful a read as was reading Khushi's descent into her own hell. As much as I expected Arnav's angst mixed with anger, helpless hopelessness, this update left me reeling.


I can understand why Arnav feels twice betrayed by love and life.

He tried his best to make his marriage work but failed as Lavanya could never inspire the kind of love Khushi did, and he must have some sense of guilt arising out of a sense of not having fulfilled his commitment.

However much he knows he is not at fault for not falling in love with Lavanya, he knows Lavanya was hurt by it though he did not intend or wish to hurt her.

Lavanya loves him but betrays him with her stubborn refusal to accept his lack of love in her desperate attempts to force him into acknowledge some feeling for her.

And now Khushi, the one ray of light in his dark world of sorrow of Arav's loss, guilt and Lavanya's complexities, decides to turn away from him.

Here is yet another person who has betrayed him by not accepting him for what and who he is and his love for her.

IOne cannot accept the simple fact that he cannot feel love for her; the other is not willing to accept the simple fact that he loves her beyond everything.


As one of your readers, an ordinary rank and file reader like myself, put it so eloquently, there is so much I feel but do not have the ability or the facility with words that your famous readers and fans have in expressing their reactions to the update and in analysing it from different angles.

So here instead is a song that I for me sums up beautifully and so poignantly Arnav's feelings.

So painful update... I don't know if I should feel sad for Arnav for the misery he is living in or being angry on him for his stubbornness,... Relationships doesn't work this way.. I understand he is hurt by Khushi's words but how could he forget all the time when khushi stood by fight, fight for him, soothed him.. She loved him unconditionally but when it's time for him to stand by her, he couldn't understand her..

They both are wrong and their relationship was a complicated one from the start... Khushi should have told Arnav what she feels and what she heard... Arnav should have listen to her calmly at their last meeting than being drove by his anger... But I guess time was never with them..

Khushi is making attempts in all these months even if she gets hurt Every time more than before.. I don't understand why is Arnav doing this... Hurting her deliberately. . Does punishing her made him feel better? ? No!! If he is in pain, she is not happy either... I don't want to take sides but I can't help... Bcz I think khushi didn't do anything to deserve this...

About Arnav and Maidson. . In his jealousy and rage, he was going to commit his biggest mistake... And it hurts.. And You have written that part exceptionally well...

Now let's see where they go from here..

eeehhh... is astha and manohar a cousin or something? so the raizada's are expected at the wedding ...
it just might be that Dr.Raizada could be making an entry too...
