Chspter 23: choti sorry ive been awol, need to catch up with the last three chapters. I loved this chapter not because of the hot stuff but because it showed how the two of them were coming together, their love surfacing amidst the wall that still needs to be demolished. He loves her, the way he treated her, the way he held back and asked her, and she loves him, she made the first move without pretence, without thinking. The aftermath , that feeling of skin against skin, being enveloped in her lovers arms was just so... aahh. Brilliant.off to find the ones I missed😃

Chapter 24:
Choti this was a lovely chapter. Their parents conversation, so in tune with each other, I wonder what their story was that they are so attuned to each other now?

Arnav taking her to Nainintal, was he hoping that she would see glimpses of England there? Im from the uk, so the only place ive read about this place is in Arhi land. Remnants of the British raj.. am I wrong? , but if you took the name away it would sound just like that, a little town in the countryside in the uk.

NK will always be a sore spot for Arnav, does he still think that they were more than friends? She has told him she loves him, and viceversa, both acknowledging with that beautiful Jainta hoon .

I love that the two of them are talking about this wall, and he is right, nothing is perfect, although I love living in the uk, its given me so much, I know its not perfect, that theres always going to be some idiot around the corner, who will make me feel like a foreigner, but equally i dont feel at home in india. I can see both points of view, the raj, especially the latter years was not a nice ruler, but the uk at that time was not that welcome to us foreigners, unless khushi has her parents there with her, she will be alone in england, and even more so if she falls pregnant.

Theres more to come, I can feel it, I hope that Aman and Anjali are not caught up in the storm.

Chapter 25:

Choti, theres a catch in my throat, half of me was worried as to what the jailors would do to her, but the fact that Nk was executed had me in tears. They made an example of him, telling people resistance is futile, but sometimes the injustice meted out highlight the issue of injustice.
At this moment my heart goes to Arnav, not to be the one she clings to in the moment of distress, im thankful that Aman was there.. why? Because she would have lashed out at him for favouring the british who murdered her friend. This was so well written, my heart goes to these characters, but it was not unheard of in those days just imagining what it would have been like actually living in those days is frightening.

Choti your story has brought the reality of those times back to us, when we were one nation, not hindu, muslim nor sikh. One day pray that we return to that time a live in peace together. Jai Hind.

CHAPTER26:

OMG! You cant leave it there!, not only will Khushi be involved, but so will Anjali and Aman!... OMG my heart is in my throat.

Choti update, update please!

Emotional chapter. Ripple effects of NK's death in others life. Khushi going through the stages of grief. First refusing to accept he's dead and trying to visit him in prison and getting reconfirmed by the guards about his death. Now this affecting their newly budding and fragile relationship with Arnav. Arnav knows her hurt but not able to help her heal. Hope he's able to reach not only Khushi even Aman and Anjali in time. Thx for the PM.

Khushi is heartbroken, maybe guilty that she couldnt save him and also more determined than ever to continue to fight for their cause. Great job in showing all these emotions that Khushi is feeling.
