What a bond that was built between Khushi and Nikil. Her first day, he became her solace and she became his. The first impression always imprinted on the heart and it leads to make the decision whether to let me him in and how deep a person is allowed. You have pen their bond amazing well. So, I can totally understand her suffering.

Girl, you really love to leave your reader hanging and I praise you for that. The fascinating part of this story is where you let Arvan into the resistance. I am loving it. subconsciously he is going to become part of their resistance.

Eagerly waiting for the next update.

Choti I'm such a huge fan of your writing. It seems so effortless :) your Arnav is a sweetie, but his perspective is different from khushi's. I wonder if they hav've had more conversations about their ideologies before they discovered nk' hanging. Did khushi tell him that she will give up her activism? Was Arnav ok with her continuing it, obviously not as he didn't allow her to go but yet she went.

When there is no agreement, distances seem enormous and chasms too deep to cross. This update reminds me of that story about four blind men and an elephant? Each sees what they want to see... and not until the others allow themselves to see what they *did not* see.. they couldn't see the whole picture. Well, Khushi and Arnav have to look past their differences to cross that distance and chasm... He sees her in threat, and she sees his indifference to her 'resistance.'

Thank you for reminding us that loss of a friend is no less than a loss of a loved one. Grief does not follow a scale or a metric.. it is what it is.. and death is untenably non-negotiable. Loved the maturity you show in your writing!

I need to have a long , hard cry after reading this. I miss Nikhil too. I hope Khushi's safe. And maybe, just maybe, Arnav understands the meaning of freedom and it's significance.

The past reveals the good friendship NK and Khuhsi shared.. She was young and still mourning her parents death... he provided sympathy and empathy .

Losing NK was like losing a family member for Khushi - one can understand her anguish and pain.

I loved how you shared Arnav's feelings, his grief over NK's death, whom he may have not regarded as a friend.. Searching for him in the stars was compassion...

Khushi knows Arnav's concern is for her well being, yet she remains defiant and this brings out his anger..

I have a feeling Arnav maybe hurt in these riots...
