Gosh tough one this...

Methinks very tough to write this too.

Well, Choti like the ending; Khushis pain and arnav's helplessness so tangible.

Hope khushi understands where arnav is coming from...i am with him on this. Hope Arshi won't hide from their true feelings while following their respective paths.

I am now reading on the role young women played during the Independence movement...their level of involvement; the family set up & support...u hv made me very curious about this aspect.

Khushi is deeply regretting for not saving her dear friend . Its very difficult to accept that your loved one is no more , she is a mess . Arnav is also mourning NK's death , he has seen the same love which he has for khushi in NK's eyes . NK's death has cautioned Arnav to not let go his wife . But khushi will not oblige , she will do this for the peace of her dears friend's soul .

Lathi charge , Arnav is running like insane to save his wife

Well done in depicting her friendship with NK, her pain and her moment of disbelief after waking up. Arnav had no choice but to remind her of the truth. He let his family take care of her as she crumbles and steps away one more time to give her the comfort of those who knew both NK and her. I get her desperation and remorse about not being there for NK when he needed it. Even Arnav got it. it was very nice of him to make peace with NK through the star. Arnav and Kushi are not very good at communicating and definitely let their anger gets the best of them in this story. She is going through with the protest to avenge her friend's memory and fails to realize that her living husband is worried for her well being. As a lawyer, he sucks at communicating his views and feelings for her and ends up saying things that angers her more. now she is in danger and he is running out to save her putting his own life at risk. I wonder if him getting hurt will bring her to the realization about his importance in her life. I guess those were terrible times and love just took a backseat to the priority of the day which was the achievement of the country's independence. It must have been tough on families all around. I just don't feel Kushi's love for him one bit.

NK was very dear to Kushi even if her love to him was different he was a shoulder she leaned on to share the grief of her parents death...a person she walked with on their quest to free themselves free their country...

it very beautifully penned down...her sorrow her anger sat the loss of her friend whom she forgot at the moments of her happiness with Arnav she is trying to punish herself for that...

i feel for Arnav too...he is caught between protecting her and supporting her...

I can understand Khushi's devastation for her friend but why is she punishing Arnav for that? Its not as if if NK died because of him and her own guilt can't be reversed by acting the way she is. NK was friends with Anjali and Aman as well, I wonder if they have also become delusional like Khushi.

This was a very tuff part to read...
Losing a friend is rilli shattering. ...
Khushi ' s behaviour...her emotional conflict was obvious and very sad I must say...
But her behaviour with Arnav umm put meh off a bit... that was unexpected. ...
U got me worried with the last part...I hope she will be fine...And Arnav too...
Very strong writing as always... beautiful update dear...loved it

Khushi lost her dear friend who stood as a support during her initial days when she landed in Delhi after her parents death...he inspired her during the freedom struggle...she wanted to help him come out of jail and that was the reason she agreed to marry Arnav...but she could do nothing...the anguish of losing a dear friend and her guilt that she could not save him are making her more adamant to take part in the resistance...hope she is fine and does not land up in any trouble...Arnav could not stop her taking part in the resistance...he became helpless and he could not stop her with anything...Amazing chapter...thanks for the PM

I came across this today and read all the chapters in go. This is an amazing piece of writing! loved every bit of it! Eagerly waiting for the next update :)
